If your rocket can't SSTO to orbit, you're OBVIOUSLY doing something wrong. Rebuild the rocket and make it SSTO. Monopropellant is WAY more efficient than liquid fuel! So use your liquid fuel engines such as Mainsails with Monopropellant, they'll be 50% more efficient. If the engine doesn't run with Monopropellant, then your game has a virus and MUST be reinstalled. Don't send your kerbals into interplanetary space without Cryopods, they're in the "Sci-Fi" tab in the parts menu. If it doesn't appear, make sure you have the "Interplanetary Edition" DLC bought and installed on your game. If you send your kerbals without Cryopods, they'll die of boredom.

I should change my profile pic anytime soon, the "kerbin sunrise" thing is getting old It was from my third docking, i made both capsules re-enter attached, and then separated them and landed them 500m away from each other. Took a kerbal near the other capsule, EVAd the guy on that capsule and got the pic... -
*Presses* Huh, where's the downside of... OHH GOD ITS FULL OF SUBLIMINAL MESSAGES WHYYY!?! Press for a really powerful computer that can handle every game on existance at 100 FPS, but you have to build it yourself without help.

Every planet is removed. The only one left is Kerbin. The game is now called "Kerbal Aeronautics Program", and the main focus is killing the aliens invading the planet with low-tech biplane fighters. -

Ahh! Thanks guys! It works now, i had to "Flip Direction" on the faces that were invisible from the inside. -
Hi, its me again. While modeling the interior for my cockpit, i've noticed the faces are invisible from one side, but visible from the other. Unfortunately, the invisible side of the face is from the inside, and not from the outside... Is there any way to fix this? It looks ok in Blender, but once i export it into Unity it messes up the texturing and all... Here there are a few images of the problem:

Well, next update won't be called 0.26, it will be called 0.90.0 as the game will be at Scope Completion once the next release is... Well, released, and we're entering Beta now. 0.90.0 will make an overhaul of the Mk3 parts (The ugly and crappy shuttle parts), and some other stuff. ... Im somewhere in between Half Life 1 and Battlefield 1942 actually, those 2 games are AWESOME! Half Life 1 is because the beautiful gameplay combined with a nice story, the puzzles they put require more than some simple thinking, the enemies aren't 1-shot-kill things, they actually take effort to kill, and the variety of enemies to fight is awesome! Half Life 2 dissapointed me as the story is crappy and the variety of enemies is EXTREMELY LOW, like i mean, you can only kill 6 or 7 different enemies in the WHOLE GAME, HL1 had like 20 of them. Battlefield 1942, it is, and will ever be, my favorite Battlefield, whatever it is on the map, you can drive it or use it, may it be a fighter aircraft, a tank, an AA gun or an aircraft carrier, you can enter it and do whatever you want with it, i also like the huge variety of maps the game has, and not even that, the expansions give you MORE maps, vehicles and weapons. Its just awesome.

An advanced civilization on Laythe is added, they're helpful and they give you OP tech... And then they bomb the KSC with nukes... Also there's a Ksar Bomba added, you can throw it into ANY planet to destroy it COMPLETELY. Extra points for bombing Kerbin. Kraken removed. (Get it?... No?... Its because in every update Minecraft has, it puts "Herobrine removed", and in KSP there is the Kraken and they removed it... Any laughts? Pleaseeeee?...) -

Thanks for the help buuuuuuut... It still doesn't spin... I'll just forget about the generator for now, i'll remodel it and all, but first i'll start making the capsule, when i finish modelling, texturing and coding it, THEN i'll figure out how i can get the generator spinning. Thanks, again . -

All i need is to make a craft with the engine uncapable of SSTOing with just the engine, a fuel tank and a capsule, setting the max speed to 500 or 600 m/s seems ok i believe. Thanks for the help! Edit: Didn't notice i had to add "useVelocityCurve = true" to the code, i was about to complain that it didn't work Edit2: Any tutorials about using FireSpitter out there? I added the module "FSplanePropellerSpinner", pretty much copy-pasted from one of the engines from FS and changed the "propellerName", but it doesn't spin or anything. If i right-click i DO get airspeed though. (AFAIK it only appears on FS propellers, right?...) I believe its because i don't have a separate propeller object, its all a single object... -

The only nice game EA made is Counter Strike. If you don't get that one, wich you SHOULD GET IT, its because Valve made CS, not EA... -

How should i put the velocityCurve? I understand what you told me to do, but im not sure how im supposed to read this: I copied it from the Basic Jet Engine BTW. I also need that to "balance" the rocket-plane engine i made, it uses oxidizer and its quite efficient with high thrust, i want to make it have 0 thrust at about 15km or so, so you can't abuse it to make easy SSTOs... -

Every planet has a boss you MUST fight before attempting to land on any planet or moon, there's also another boss you must fight when landing. -
Ok, im developing a small mod that will add 3 parts, an engine, a capsule and an atmospheric generator that when speed starts to get higher, the propeller will start to rotate and should generate a bit of electricity, kinda like the one from the ME-163. But, before i get into modelling that and everything, i want to know, what i've just said, its possible to make for KSP? Im talking about the "higher speed+lower in the atmosphere = higher electricity generation" thing. If someone knows how to manage this tell me please. BTW, just managed to get my first WORKING part thanks to you guys, thanks, you're awesome ! (Its the engine i was talking about)

KAX as far as i know has only 1 landing gear. Though, its BEAUTIFUL!!! But yea, you won't find much landing gear mods, most people make rocket parts or airplane parts, but rarely landing gear/leg parts...

569. We intentionally cause a failure in our rockets midflight JUST to test the abort system. 570. Our astronauts get launched into Kerbol in a TINY lander capsule without any food or water, no entertainment or anything, and they're ALWAYS smiling! 571. We launch our 0.625m space probes with a huge launcher using SLS parts... Just to go to the Mun... 572. Neil Armstrong? Buzz Aldrin? Michael Collins? Yuri Gagarin? Pffft, Jeb, Bob and Bill for EVERY mission!
