Launched my newest station, Spacegate 1. I am planning on putting one of these in orbit around Kerbin, Eve, Duna and Jool.

My spacedock got its first visitors. Also, fired one designer who was responsible for the docking port.

Found a design failure in one of my spaceplanes as I was going into spacedock.

Sent up my first spacedock. Also, it is an SSTO.

Do not underestimate children. They could well be capable of following someone like Scott Manley.

It is just that I do not really want the other stuff that comes with them. Mainly because I need the simplicity of using Mechjeb to do my multiple rocket launches that are required to maintain my orbital colony and FAR and NEAR do not really mix well with my massive rockets.

Time to bring out my orbital Karpetbomb.

I must have been the funniest thing to watch when I started with Kerbal. I did not know what that navball was etc. I would look at where the rocket was pointing and go by that. Oh well... I learned about navball only after my first munlandings...

Hey, I have been building some rather large spaceplanes lately. The problem I am having is not that big, but it is annoying me. It is the control surfaces. They keep flapping around when I am in space. Do you think it would be possible to code an addon to allow turning off of aerodynamic control surfaces? Maybe add a button that will turn them all off or somehow allow them to be bound in an action group. Ideas, feedback, modders possibly willing to give it a go? I myself am abosolutely useless when it comes to the technical side of things. - Othuyeg

It would have to be the klingons. No question about it. TNG era klingons. The ones that are all about honor and glory. Not the ones from TOS who are more like the ferengi.

I did a challenge... Ended up going quite fast with antimatter powered thermal turbojets.

I managed 2 355 975 meters. Also, I could have gone for a bit further, but I ran out of electricity after overtaking the sun and flying into the sunset. I have it on a video, will edit it into a highlight in my stream soon (Edit: here it is http://www.twitch.tv/othuyeg/c/5168355 ) I could have survived the landing, but forgot to engage brakes before the power ran out. Points: Distance: ( 2 355 975 m / 100)*10 ) = 2 355 90 (for every full 100m) Survived landing, but kept rolling on the ground until hit something and went boom, no points I guess. Weight: 6.901t 8+ tons under 15 tons = 40 points 15 points for SAS All in all, 235645 points at this point. Triple points as I was faster than the sunset. And the sunrise... 235645 * 3 = 706935 Edit: Yeah, I know, it was a bit of a cheap one, but hey, you said mods can be used. I used mod engines. Thermal turbojets to be exact. They have no alternators and the reactor used is a thermal antimatter reactor. It produces no electricity. Edit 2: I also know I could have just throttled down and kept going for weeks, but to be honest, that is not my style.

So this was a circumnavigation challenge, right? Currently overtaking the sun.

Any extra points for overtaking the sun?

I was launching a probe into a kerbolar-synchronous orbit... and then I notice this. Curses, foiled again!

I built a spaceplane with the simple purpose of going into orbit, fast. And here is a video of me going into an orbit of about 420km x 420km, assisted by SRBs and with plenty of DV left... for a trip to pretty much anywhere. http://www.twitch.tv/othuyeg/c/5154892 I could have saved ALOT of fuel in this one, but I just wanted to get a quick video of the plane in action.
