I haven't had nearly as much crashes on modded 64 bit as I had on modded 32 bit. (Even with ATM at agressive) I do get random crashes every once in a blue moon, but it's a lot less bad/frustrating than trying to run more than 1 or 2 mods on 32 bit, IMO.
-
Stock, simply because FAR and NEAR shut themselves off on 64 bit KSP, and I'm absolutely DONE with modding 32 bit.
-
Really? I still have my "Temporary Mun Base" up there. (A lander that's out of fuel). And like 15 flags in front of it. Currently planning a mission to refuel and get the whole thing back. My flags never disappeared though.

Have you had any mysterious or unexplainable evnts in KSP?
WWEdeadman replied to SubzeroSpartan7's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I'm going to just say: Random disassembly. http://youtu.be/vrN3qCkRmDY?t=41m21s Don't ask how that happened... I have no idea. -
Atmospheres disappearing.
WWEdeadman replied to pauldbk99's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
Does the stock game even have any atmospheric visuals? I literally never noticed whether you could tell if a body has an atmosphere, while you're not inside that atmosphere. -
220. And that's only the stock hours, since I always use separate installs for mods. I guess I have at least the same amount of modded gameplay hours, which don't show up on steam cause I never mod the steam install.

Totaly depends. On the menue anywhere between 80 and 120, on the KSC screen between 30 and 60, and on a ship between 40 and anything lower than that, down to like 4-7 on really big ships. Usually about 25-30 on standard size ships.
-
I just landed Jeb's Mun-pub next to my Mun base on my stream: The light is a bit buggy, but I still like it. All stock 0.25, by the way, in case you were wondering.

What mods can you not play KSP without?
WWEdeadman replied to TannerBJ's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
There really isn't any mod I really need. I started playing 0.25 unmodded on my streams recently, and although I miss some mods, I can still play just fine. However, the mods I miss most when playing unmodded are -Kerbal Engineer (for dV stats) -Kerbal Alarm Clock (for stopping time acceleration for me, and being able to do multiple things at once) -All of the visual enhancments (EVE + Better athmospheres, Hot rockets, Cool Rockets) -
Landed on Duna, and took back off without doing a part test I was supposed to do...

I am really puzzled about the fact that so many people mix up solar eclipses and munar eclipses... Especially since the equivalent of a lunar eclipse in-game would only be visible as such from Muns surface, since shadows don't work that far. (It would be awesome to have the Mun get tinted red, like in RL lunar eclipses though) Also: Solar Eclipses are pretty common on Kerbin/over KSC, seeing as KSC is on the equator, and neither the rotation axis, nor the orbits of Kerbin and the Mun are inclined in any way. You'll get an eclipse pretty much every Kerbin-Month (just not necessarily visible from KSC, as it could happen during night time)

Not counting SSTO planes that literally only cost me the fuel, cause I land them back at the runway, I'd say this low-tech version of a 100% reuseable launcher Scott Manley used back in his "reuseable spaceprogram" series. Scott used Ram-intakes and a mainsail, which makes this even more efficient. (I actually used the original design later in that career, once I had unlocked the parts) As for the "challenge" I don't have the exact numbers of what it cost me, and I didn't really make it go to a 100km circular orbit, but it did rescue missions, which are all pretty close to a 100 km orbit, usually. And I always had fuel to spare at the end, especially once I had it updated to using a mainsail and ram intakes.

Is KSP the greatest video game ever made?
WWEdeadman replied to sedativechunk's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I'd say yes. One: cause SPAAACE And two: based on hours of fun I've put into the game. -
What Are You Planning/Hoping To Do In KSP In The Near Future?
WWEdeadman replied to michaelsteele3's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Get a Kerbal back from Eves surface. -
-Kerbal Alarm Clock -Kerbal Engineer -(Athmospheric) Trajectories -Kerbal Attachment System -Precise Node -Distant Object Enhancment
-
You could also just rightclick and "run test", so I don't think this is an "exploit".

Yesterday I landed an entire interplanetary ship on Gilly using RCS. No screenshots, but the video footage will be part of my KSP let's play series next week.
-
Oh, hey, Atlantis xD Yeah, Danny did that in his latest video with the claw-kraken-machine thingy he build.
-
Pareidolia FTW.

Landing on Gilly - Adventures in microgravity!
WWEdeadman replied to moogoob's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Yeah, Gilly, the only body in KSP that you feel the need to burn down to when trying to land. Did a landing with a probe recently, that was really weird. I encountered Gilly retrograde, 'cause I had gotten into orbit around Eve the wrong way. Anyway, I ended up burning towards it because I wasn't falling fast enough for my taste. Video: -
I record with Fraps, and I don't really see a difference between the recorded footage and what I see in-game. For instance: This Episode of my Let's Play starts off on a night view of KSC: Same goes for in-orbit night etc. I did notice that other YouTubers have almost black screens during night though. I watched 4KBshorts latest video today, for instance, and it literally is pitch black during the night. I don't know what I do differently, though. Ambient Light Ajustment is definitely a great mod, though. I started using it a while ago, and it really makes night videos less exhausting to watch. It should be a great way to improve your footage.

Blood, Tears and Sweat!
WWEdeadman replied to Moesly_Armlis's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
There is no evidence of Kerbals sweating that I would know of, so until further evidence surfaces I'll go with no. -
That actually was posted in this thread already: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/95806-25-Easter-Egg-Hunt?highlight=easter+egg+hunt But yeah, nice new easter egg.

What would you want in the next update (0.90)?
WWEdeadman replied to EvilotionCR2's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Beta Hype! 0.90, not 0.26 And it looks like they will actually do stock recources too, even if that may not be in this specific update.
