  1. DSEV 2.0.0.7 is now available: New Parts - Personal Airlock Module: This surface-attached and stack-mounted airlock holds a single kerbal. It is styled to fit with the upcoming Nautilus. - D2 Briefing Room: This alternate habitat configuration seats 10 kerbals. You can click on the conference phone to change the internal lighting color from white, blue, and off. Bug Fixes & Enhancements - Fixed rotation issues with the D2 Centrifuge. - WBT update.
  2. Buffalo 2.0.5 is now available: - WBT Update - Added the V-22 Buffalo Wings development aircraft to the SampleCraft/Ships/SPH folder. It is fairly well balanced for VTOL flight if you use the Hover Manager.
  3. Heisenberg 2.4.0 is now available: New Parts - GondoBalcony: This part is handy for preventing kerbals from opening the door on Bison office buildings, stepping outside, and experiencing a sudden stop at the end. You can toggle the central railing to extend the balcony. - Construction Pad: Designed for the roof of a Bison module, the Construction Pad provides a landing spot for your aircraft. With ExtraplanetaryLaunchpads installed, it also doubles as a launchpad for new vessel construction. - Pad Extension: Also designed for the roof of a Bison module, this pad extension makes your landing pads larger. Bug Fixes & Enhancements - WBT Update - The GondoHab, GondoLab, and GondoGarden can now be broken down for easy transport and set up as office buildings, just like the GondOffice. The new ability is only available to new constructions. - Fixed the VAB/SPH part icon for the GondOffice. - The GondOffice's conference phone can now change the internal light color from white, blue, and off. - Fixed IVA overlay positioning of the GondOffice.
  4. The trippy thing is, maybe all of the kerbol system is already mulched, and the planets are all being plucked from a dying S.A.V.E. and being dropped into a stable one...
  5. Ok, please feel free to go through the patches and make a pull request.
  6. Yup, already slated for the next release. Hopefully in the next couple of days.
  7. Thanks to @taniwha's very insightful help, Heisenberg's rooftop landing pad now doubles as an EL construction pad! Here is a V-22, built by the construction rig engineers:
  8. And here we go, one fully built and correctly oriented V-22: Thanks again for your help @taniwha! Absolutely love using EL, and I'm finally at a point where I can look at my EL-based robotic 3D printer (very much late-game tech).
  9. Not sure about the workers, but I did go back and redo the MM patch, and that seems to have done the trick. My NEEDS clause was using "ExtraplanetaryLaunchpads" instead of "Launchpad" and after changing it, I was able to build my test craft. Now I just need to orient the SpawnTransform correctly, and make sure it's high enough off the deck... Sorry I missed your PM earlier, thanks for your help.
  10. Glad to see it working for you. I make sure that the Kestrel was well balanced before releasing it to the wild. The only downside is that you have to warm up the nuclear reactor slowly; increase the throttle a bit at a time so that the ElectricCharge draw doesn't outpace the reactor's output. And if you add CompressedAir RCS thrusters to it (the fans can generate CompressedAir), it'll be even easier to fly- you can make precision landings with it. Buffalo'w WB-22 tiltrotors would be a good fit. I'd suggest a quad tiltrotor design, like so: The Hover Manager can handle tilting all four rotors at once. One S.A.F.E.R. is enough to power a single tilt-rotor, though if you have a Mandarin or a couple of Krupp fusion reactors, you're good to go.
  11. It is really cool to finally see all my hard work coming together...
  12. Finally had a chance to actually play KSP today! First thing I did? pre-positioned an airship for a story...
  13. I've wanted to do this for a looong time. I had to build the mods I needed to do what I wanted, and with Buffalo Wings finally done, I can! Exploring Kerbin is not something I've done before, so this should be fun! Not sure what the format will be, so I'm kind of experimenting a bit. This occurs in the same S.A.V.E. as Test Flight. In preparation for the new astronaut class’ training mission, the Kerman States Naval Ship Akron (ZR-4), is prepped for flight. She's temporarily commanded by Liscella, who is actually the First Officer of the KSNS Akron. Liscella moves Akron away from the runway so that her complement of vehicles can come aboard. A few minutes later, the Ganges, the Akron's capsule recovery and cargo craft, rolls onto the runway and lifts off. Ganges is piloted by Kimgee, the airship’s Landing Signal Officer. With the old airship nearby, it doesn't take long to approach the aft flight deck. It's a narrow deck, but Ganges' compressed air RCS thrusters and hover autopilot make coming aboard relatively easy. The tiltrotor lands onto the deck and stows its rotors before taking the elevator down. It's a tight fit below decks, but with the rotors folded, Ganges is able to latch onto its tie-down point. Kimgee takes a moment to look around in the hangar bay, then rides the elevator back to the flight deck. She starts unpacking supplies in the conning tower, getting ready for the trainees. Meanwhile, Raphia & Mosa Akron’s Chief Engineer and Chief Science Officer, respectively, leave the Spaceplane Hangar in a brand new prototype Buffalo rover. Based on the Munar Surface Rover design- an un-kermanned probe almost ready to go to the Mun- the prototype provides an airtight environment to explore airless worlds with. The training mission has the honor of putting the new rover through its paces- Akron is a working mobile classroom, after all. Without much fanfare, the rover, dubbed “Fido” by Raphia, boards Akron’s cargo ramp and is secured to the old airship. With all but the captain aboard, who will arrive in the morning, Liscella launches the Akron and flies her out to Donna Katalina Island, where an abandoned airfield still stands. It had an important part in the early space program, and the site of the first training exercise... Akron carefully maneuvers itself and sets down next to the old hangars. The crew meets in the ship’s briefing room to share an evening meal and watch as the Titan Brumby 4 (TB-4) mission rolls out to the pad. It should fly in the morning as long as there aren't any surprises. They won’t see the launch in person, but they’ll get a good view on the big screen…
  14. Hm, sorry about that. The latest set of logs are here. Thanks for taking a look.
  15. That's available in the current release. The lab, hab, and greenhouse are on the way.
  16. And the roof panels: The markings needs some work... Central panel is where you have a construction pad if you have EL installed. Trying to work through some issues with it, but I might have an update by the end of the weekend.
  17. That's where Pathfinder's Konkrete converter and 3D printer could come in. Design the structure in the VAB/SPH, and print it on site.
  18. Thanks. I'm fixing up the Pathfinder configs and should have a pull request later today. I added a science config for the lab cube, and the Pathfinder greenhouse to the aggro cube. I noticed that there's no equivalent to an industrial cube: in Pathfinder, the Hacienda inflatable module handles all the industrial components like making RocketParts and such. A double-sized cube would fit the bill nicely.
  19. Yup, definitely. I could make some adapters to fit inflatables to the Firma parts, write some config files for it, and IVAs if needed.
  20. Interesting, I'm getting the same issue with the EL parts that I do with my own; I try to start a build, but the KAC alarm instantly comes up, and the build does not progress. I have plenty of RocketParts, a staffed Workshop holding engineers, power... not sure what I'm missing, it's been awhile since I've been able to use EL. I'm using EL 5.7.1. Here's a screenshot of what I'm seeing: And here are my logs. My test craft is just a 0.625m probe core with a 0.625m monopropellant tank, both stock. I did notice this in the logs: I double-checked to make sure my mods weren't stepping on any toes, and the errors happen when I don't have any Wild Blue mods installed.
