  1. Probably when I finish all the parts, which will take a few months.
  2. Thanks. Did you run the experiments yourself, or did they spontaneously decided that they were done?
  3. You're supposed to run the experiments in a lab. If the Appaloosa is completing them instantly then there's a bug somewhere.
  4. Got the wing root and half-wing done: Working on the quarter wing and canards next. Not sure if I'll be done this weekend, but it'll be close.
  5. Yup, keep in mind that the storage capacities are there for not just liquid fuel- that's simply the baseline that I use. You'll be able to switch those tanks around to hold, say Pathfinder base elements and the Equipment needed to assemble them.
  6. Well, looking at the templates, I have a Science template and a Backseat Crew template. There's some redundancy there, so I just need to make some adjustments and you're good to go.
  7. Yup, that would do it. The problem might be that the Science config is unlocked before it should be..
  8. It sounds like there's a problem with your install. I just tried the Appaloosa's science config and had no issues loading up experiments. Do you get any errors in the log when you try to add experiments?
  9. Can you show me a screenshot of the Appaloosa and its configuration?
  10. Ok guys, let's keep this civil and stop flinging mud. You've made it clear that you're uninstalling the mod. That's fine, I'm not losing sleep over it. I suggest you find a mod that's more of a parts pack then a base-building mod with resource converters and the like. It sounds like your machine doesn't handle computationally intensive tasks well. Plenty of other people don't have your issue, and in one case where it did, there was something going on in the save file. So please do move on.
  11. More doodling tonight, needed a break from slogging through the Buffalo Wings update...
  12. Not that I'm aware of. You're best bet is to take screenshots. Yeah, the Solar Observatory is my analog to Skylab's Apollo Telescope Mount. Ideally you'd be able to attach the Solar Observatory and have it pivot into place, but I'm not sure how to do that without integrating the four solar panels.
  13. Not sure if it answers your question, but MOLE has a KSPedia entry:
  14. Those are stock size 0 tanks, they're just a placeholder. Given the debacle last summer where the CKAN team tried to force their buggy software on modders who'd then have to deal with the installation issues. No.The only way I'd support CKAN if I was paid $50,000 (fifty-thousand) USD, up front, because that's how much my time is worth dealing with the hassle of their crappy software. This isn't open to debate, I'm not supporting CKAN unless somebody pays me.
  15. In between working on the Buffalo Wings update, I converted the Cyclone engine (model by @blackheart612) to use the new plugin I made for the Buffalo's tiltrotor. Next update, no more Firespitter dependency! To take the refurbished engine for a spin, I built a Korsair using stock parts- the tail cone and fuel tank are 75% scaled along their length, and the airbrakes are 50% scaled. All I need are some folding wings and I can fit the Korsair in the Heisenberg's hangar deck. This speed demon can hit 200m/sec (about Mach 0.6) in level flight, and you'll definitely need the airbrakes and thrust reverse to slow down quick.

  17. Yup! I'm working on Buffalo Wings this month, but once that's done, next up is DSEV. I'm planning on a new circular solar array (see below), a 2.5m fuel tank texture pass, and a new Bigelow-style inflatable module. That inflatable module is the last component of the Kopernicus, and a key component of the Nautilus...
  18. Maybe if you pay him real money, in advance. Otherwise, we get to read his adventures on his time. It's a privilege to read stories, not a right.
