  1. You still need KAS for the winches and pipes and such.
  2. You could start a new save them open that persistent.sfs and copy paste Bob from the new one to the old.
  3. This sounds like an install issue. A pic of your GameData folder would be helpful. Also, not all of the KAS parts are storable. The winches I know aren't. There maybe others.
  4. First, the error.log doesn't help much. Get the output_log.txt. Second, use a site like Dropbox or Pastebin to upload the logs the post a link here. The wall of text from posting a log directly into the forums is gonna deter a lot of people. It is especially harsh for those using mobile devices to view the forums.
  5. As I understand it the grab function is going to be removed from KAS. Node snapping is a planned feature for KIS.
  6. Cool no big rush. Kospy hopefully won't update KAS for a little while.
  7. From the pics in your modded support post it looks like SCANSat or Regolith is out of date. Try updating SCANSat and Regolith. SCANSat should be version 10.0 and Regolith v1.7
  8. No you really don't. Your problem is something is not updated, either SCANSat or Regolith.
  9. What are your plans regarding KAS removing grab fuctionality?
  10. This is a great read but sounds like it belongs in the mission reports forum.
  11. Link is in his signature. It's the STS Space Shuttle.
  12. It should look like this: (KSP_root)/GameData/KIS/
  13. There isn't enough info here for anyone to help you. You need to include several pieces of information, like a list of mods you are using and logs. Please read the "How To Get Support" sticky at the top of the forum page or click here
  14. I tested this on a stock install with just KIS installed. I was actually testing for the stackable parts because on my modded install the stackable parts don't work. I did determine that it works with stock but haven't tested for which mod is causing the stackables to not work. Below is an album showing the inventory adding mass when adding parts and increasing number in a stack, it also adds mass when subtracting from the stack. It doesn't add or subtract mass when removing parts from inventory. Output Log Edit: After further testing, I have noticed that any mod which adds part modules to stackable parts breaks the stackable settings causing to flag most if not all parts as non-stackable.
  15. All of kerbin's resources are there for testing only. The resource concentrations are uniform across the surface and low enough that the colors don't show up. Try it again on the Mun and you will likely see the different colors.
  16. Right click it in the inventory then click refuel
  17. Unfortunately, I will be unable to complete this mission. The save I had my station in has suffered an unrecoverable corruption. I will attempt to start again in a new save after reinstalling KSP.
  18. Tried adding the parts to the part name override list and it still doesn't let me stack anything.
  19. Has anyone else tried stacking parts in a container? Everything I put in the container says stackable is false. This includes things that, according to the settings.cfg, should be stackable. For example, KAS struts and pipes.
  20. Yeah KAS is removing the containers and the ability to grab parts. That functionality is going to only be available in KIS. The winches, pipes and such will still be part of KAS. Here is the link to KIS: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/113111-0-90-Kerbal-Inventory-System-%28KIS%29-1-0-0 Edit: I have played around a little bit with KIS and it is a lot easier to put parts in the container in VAB. It has made any part removable as long as you have enough kerbals (1 ton per kerbal). Also, kerbals have their own inventory that can store small items like lights and such.
  21. Just thought I would let you know that Kerbal Inventory System has been released. It was mentioned that KAS will lose its containers and its ability to grab parts when it is updated next.
  22. Are you using MKS? If so, MKS disables the parts from EL since it has its own parts for use with EL that follow a different production chain.
  23. The Shuttle Nautilus flew a crew/lifesupport module up to Copernicus station, as well as a second tug. Also shown is the launch mass of the Proton T shuttlecraft. Hopefully I will be able to do more videos soon.
