  1. Due to very high Vitamin K content, patients undergoing anticoagulant treatments should not change consumption patterns of spirulina without seeking medical advice to adjust the level of medication accordingly
  2. Just copying and pasting facts here: A simple nutrient feed for growing spirulina is: Baking soda - NaHCO3 - 16 g/L = 60.56 g/gal Potassium nitrate - KNO3 - 2 g/L = 7.57 g/gal Sea salt - NaCl - 1 g/L = 3.78 g/gal Potassium phosphate - KH 2 PO 4 - 0.1 g/L = .378 g/gal Iron sulphate - FeSO4 * 7H2O - 0.01 g/L = .0378 g/gal - - - Updated - - - algae has actually been tested and successfully grown in human urine at 1:180 parts. (I found this quite funny)
  3. I like the sound of spirulina. But, we'll have to run it through K^2 first. BTW, I might look into spirulina a bit
  4. You feel a disturbance in the force...
  5. holy moly! but.. just... HOW DO THE ENGINES WORK? *brain explodes*
  6. erm, I'd just like everyone to know, if I see a cargo SSTO here, or a SSTO that can land no other celestial bodies, instant rep for you!
  7. oo oo oo! can I be the one to send the letter K^2?
  8. Now would be a good time to send a message to someone like harvestr
  9. also, for the 'go now' buttons, as there any way to make them not have white borders?
  10. Try putting a kerbal in there somewhere, coz this has to have something to do with KSP somehow, but apart from that, it's awesome!
  11. $24,000 is not something that we shouldn't spend if we don't have to.
  12. Eh, the only forum that I ever visit is the spacecraft exchange... and sometimes the welcome forums... so, I guess that doesn't matter for people like me . anyway, TO SPACE!
  13. That is so frickin cool! (rep givin time) - - - Updated - - - aww, I've given you too much rep
  14. Then how are we gonna get the money for the cubesat in the first place?
  15. This hardware costs a lot. the frame is dirt cheap compared to them. *sigh* we'll definitely need at least a bit of custom work on the tech if we want a really good chance of reaching a sufficient amount of money for this project. We can't say 'We're launching a cubesat to space! now donate $100,000'.
  16. We have to take into consideration that we are spread out around the world, therefore it will be particularly hard for us to use our different strengths and professions to build the cubesat. - - - Updated - - - also, happy 500th post nicholander xD
  17. also, when .25 comes out squad will almost definitely do some tweaking to the parts, so you wouldn't be able to load that in .25 anyway
  18. the best place to do that, WOULD BE THE DESCRIPTION
  19. try mounting the sideways, like this = but rotated 90 degrees onto the side on the THROMGORD. (that's just a really good name)
  20. We've got most things figured out, next we have to find the exact parts we need for the cubesat, we need to get the funding, then we test, and LAUNCH
