  1. and what do I do with the sun flare? which folder do I put it in?
  2. so how do I get the shadows under the clouds? BTW, The Mun didn't change when I installed everything
  3. actually, I don't think that the better atmospheres clouds have turned up at all
  4. I can't get the shadows under the clouds that's the part I liked most.
  5. do I replace the cloud and city textures? or do I just leave it alone? or do I just use the better atmospheres Boulderco folder? Do I use the mods in the better atmospheres download? or do I just install the other mods by themselves? This is so confusing
  6. Reminds me dearly of iDan's mir around Duna that used insane amounts of part clipping
  7. the faster you get with the jet engines, the less you have to burn with your rocket engines.
  8. try replacing the rocket engine with an aerospike rocket, it's much better that the rocket engine.
  9. this challenge looks great! think I'll have a try later on.
  10. Technically, if you dropped the fuel tanks WHILE in orbit, it would still be a SSTO because single stage to orbit doesn't have anything to do with staging WHILE in orbit. WHILE is a very nice word.

    Hi!

don't tell my kerbals this, but I never intended to. I'm gonna get all of the science by just leaving the kerbals there and saying 'transmit the data thank you!' kinda sad. but when I unlock new stuff totally worth it. I'm evil

    Hi!

Hi everyone! my name is Oarum, and I have been playing kerbal space program ever since .21 2.1? I forget. So, you might say that I'm ALRIGHT at KSP, I've landed on Duna, on both of Kerbin's moons, and I am planning to go to Eve soon (this is all in career mode). So, yeah, only joined the forums recently, and I found that everything here is amazing, so here to stay. Also, proud member of B.R.I.Xco!. I would LOVE it if someone could give me some handy tips (and yes, I know how to do docking, manoeuvre nodes, interplanetary travel, and a few other things. What I would like to know is if someone could give me some advice on how to build rovers and bases. Thanks!
  13. When public appreciation or whatever comes in, when there are different points in the game, you should get about 90% of your science from transmitting because you should get public appreciation from bringing your kerbonauts back which would make more sense. Also, I'd expect you can sell science for money, another reason why you should be able to get science over time, from labs. Basically, you get science from space stations, ships, probes, ecetera. but you get more science from bringing it back. And you need more money to get it back. so you start off by transmitting your science, which doesn't give you as much. But when you have more money and braincells you can get science more efficiently by taking it back to kerbin. This is what the ISS is realistically like. Well, not exactly, but you get the point.
  14. Yes, I got into orbit above 70,000m, I got a 120,000m circular orbit. I deorbited, and landed on the runway. It's name is the double bi-plane
  15. In picture 5, Kerbin looks is smaller than it would be if it was in the atmosphere. Also, you can see the direction I landed on the runway, proving that I Completed an orbit. I had a circular orbit of 120,000 km. the spaceplane's name is the Double Bi-Plane (I know, creativity for the win!).
  16. If you do end up getting science gradually, then time warp shouldn't count. The time that you have actually been playing should determine how much science you can get. this will allow you to do other things at the same time, and it would be a bit more reasonable.
  17. I made a Bi-Plane Design, but with 4 wings in a square instead of 2. I also like to use the beautification mod, because it just makes everything look much nicer.
