@ethanadams, Don't feel bad, that's what learning is for. I once heard someone say that we should use NASA's budget for paying college (american) football players. EdFred, I know. There are things I don't care about either. but I still do. I hate football (I live in alabama. Once, a student called my teacher a n*zi because of the football team she liked.) And I never said they where stupid. This thread is meant for lols, and the source of the lols is people saying dumb things about space. Did anybody find a fix for the contract bug? I really don't want to work my way up to that point, then not be able to do anything. Does anyone even know what is causing it?

It doesn't account for chutes (or staging for that matter), but they normally open so low that it wouldn't really matter.

Ummm... never. Where did you get that idea? The guy above you is talking about how religious opinions can get in the way of facts. How does that equal anti-religion? Thats like saying not wanting scientists to corrupt data is anti-science.

But if you throw it into the giant, you could (pretend) SCIENCE! and there would be light show for the crew, to lighten the strain of being stuck in such a small space for several years!

I REALLY hope this doesn't get scrapped. It would be NASA's greatest achievement since Curiosity. So much SCIENCE! could be done. And just THINK about all the cool pictures...

NASA shouldn't have to be beggars. They get HALF A PENNY per tax dollar! It's ridiculous! We've gotten so much out of space exploration, yet they're budget is so small! *end of rant* Oh, well. better than nothing.

Good, but suggestion: have some less basic questions, e.g. "what is the larget body in the asteroid belt" "what is the nearest star" "why do astronauts float in orbit" "why do rockets fly sideways" "what is the name of the nearest large galaxy" stuff like that.

Yeesh! I don't have as many stories, because I only just started playing. I've had it a while, but could start playing yesterday, when I got a GTX 750 Ti to replace a 610. It's amazing.

The views on the desert planet are quite spectacular, with it's four asteroid moons zipping overhead, the two fainter suns flying by, the gas giants orbiting each other appear as two golden dots right next too each other, and a gas giant, which appears the size of the moon, with it's loads of golden moons, shining bright in the sky, nebula in the background... it's amazing. Unfortunately, the comet isn't visible from the desert planet.

I use a wind tunnel to redirect the wing at the next poster.
