Can beam wavelengths get proper SI prefixes" That is all wat to 10^-12m for hard xrays Also it seems like only xray producer has >10m of aperture size, can universal beam generators produce xrays Also it gets negative mass when tweak scaling By the way some beam network parts have too big tweakscale limits - when rescaling them whole computer freezes due to lack of RAM - I have 8 GB of memory. Now QSR doesn't throttle down. -

Well thermal energy production is lowered a lot. -

Something wrong is with lithium modifier for QSR. -

Well I'm getting constantly null exceptions from other mods - probably ones not updated to 1.2, but my FPS is in comfortable range after I removed Hyper Edit, Dynamic Deflection and Kerbal Engineer. Shame exception finder isn't updated. -

Hmm weird lag stopped after I removed hyper edit, kerbal engineer and dynamic deflection. -

Why my spaceship lags in other atmospheric planets? Heres my spaceship to test, it uses Extended Lithobraking mod for cargo bay, http://www94.zippyshare.com/v/135PIBpF/file.html On Kerbon its fine, probably something wrong is with air intake -> compressed air code. Maybe something breaks in air intakes? ISRU and gas tank just compress incoming air. -

I guess if I upscaled it to 1 km radius it would be less dense than Hydrogen 0.625m - smallest generator has volume of ~ 0.24 m^3 20m - big generator for big motherships and laser beam producers has volume of 8000 m^3 100m generator would have volume of 1000 000 m^3 -

So this means 0.625m and 20m radius thermal generators connected to same reactors will have same mass? -
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super-Earth How would civilization progress past industrial era on such planet? It would probably have denser atmosphere with higher sea level pressure, surface gravity and lower landmass/total area percentage. Would be such planet more resilient towards negative side of technological progress? How would space exploration look? Lets say it has moon similar to our own and be in similar solar system. Would be nuclear/microwave beam powered boosters needed to reach low orbit of Super Earth?

@FreeThinker What do you think about realism of Children of Dead Earth? It focuses on fairly low tech stuff comparing to KSPI - early nuclear propulsion, early radiators and other stuff. KSPI doesn't have to deal with material resistance to pressure, temperature and its changes. Only limit is maximum temperature of radiators. -

I think I created spaceship, that can land in any planet in Milky Way -

Why we can't use Lithium - Hydrogen or Spin something Deuterium - Helium3 mode in Stellator? Can you make all fusion modes be selectable regardless presence of required fuel? Or add all fuels to fusion reactors, that reactor can fuse. It could be small buffer tank. -

Do you realise, that CKAN exists? You can download mods trough it. Also you had really bad luck with curseforge downloads. -

MHD doesn't have much higher hot bath temperature than standard thermal generator even for gas core its only 3200 kelvins. -

Well it actually started working normally after I fired EM drive. I listed parts above, now I added thermal MHD generator too. Edit: Antimatter reactor flickers rapidly. Its like power manager can't decide how much energy produce. -

Okay, also this g statistic is 10 times too high in warp drive menu. Edit: It even runs out of electricity/charged particles when charged, without activating warp. -

something is broken.... I used 3.75m antimatter reactor with charged generator and 3.75m heavy warp drive and EM drive. It seems I can't charge warp if I get too far from planet. It seems like warp drive charging doesn't take in consideration AI core and probably other electricity users. -
[1.3.1] Ferram Aerospace Research: v0.15.9.1 "Liepmann" 4/2/18
raxo2222 replied to ferram4's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
It sounds like mass scaling issue between any 2 mods, that try to change mass of said part. Sadly there is no fix for it, unless Squad does something about modifying mass by mods.- 14,073 replies

I think radiation hazard for Kerbstein and possibly Vista/Daedlius are bit broken: can't engage engine, when kerbal is infront of ship, but can thrust like nothing happened once kerbal gets behind. -

So I shouldn't get so much acceleration from antimatter reactor? Also these radiators are for antimatter reactors - they produce a lot of waste heat! -

raxo2222 replied to FreeThinker's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Now it works. EDIT: WOW it made thermal turbojets with antimatter reactor so awesome, that I don't need Wakefield for upper atmosphere! My Jumper reached top acceleration of 7 G while speeding trough atmosphere. This means I can make ship much lighter which mean thermal turbojets will pull even more impressive acceleration! -

It seems like thermal turbojets on antimatter reactor can't overcome atmospheric pressure, if they aren't in atmospheric mode.
