Is there a fix or a planned update to the water physics? With the new Parallax out, I'd love to explore the oceans!

I just downloaded Texture Unlimited for the first time, and i'm a bit lost. Where can I find configs for this mod ? Note that i play heavily modded, and if possible, i'd like to get some parts supported. I tried Magpie's config and it doesn't work the way intended (most parts are very dark). Is it a TU or Config issue ? Thanks !
-
Thanks for your answer ! Two things : First, i messed up the installation, and my kerbals wouldn't use any consumable, and food wouldn't even appear in Kerbalism planning window. Somehow, inline containers didn't appear, except for the large one. Reinstalled everything and now it works perfectly fine, all containers seems present. My question was about if it was possible to use Stock Kerbalism resources containers, which come in every sizes and so easier to use. Considering I found your parts, this is not a problem anymore. I won't make you configure parts just for me, aha ! Great job anyway, sorry for inconvenience.

Is it possible to install Kerbalism's parts (especially consumable containers) ? As I find the Simplex's ones not practical enough, or am I missing something (I only get stocks containers, no inline ones). Thanks, love your mod anyway! Edit: Or is there any other life support parts mod that are configured for simplex, I'm not stuck on Kerbalism's ones.

Planet editing for total noob ?
Iguas posted a topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Hey guys, I'm playing with a lot of mods, including Rescale! with the kerbol system scaled 6.4 times The problem is that average ground level is way too high (6000-10000m), and parachutes struggle to slow me down enough, and some mountains stands at over 25000 m , wich is a pain when you're trying to land a spaceplane ! Is there any way to easily "stretch" the lands on the vertical axis ? Thanks -
Hey! I just tried to update KSP to version 1.10, but i couldn't get Rescale! mod to work. I can't tell if the problem is from Sigma, Kopernicus, or the mod Rescale! itself (I doubt it) Did anyone of you managed to make it work ? Or maybe there's other mods that does the same thing ? I like playing on 6.4x and it's hard for me to go back to stock size. Thanks !

I had the same problem, but it seems like the stock wheels just suck... Try installing Kerbal Foundries, their landing gear work a lot better, and i don't have this kind of problem anymore

FAR is great ! BUT, anyone of you managed to make a functional helicopter with the new stock parts ? It seems like i don't get enough lift from those blades to do anything interesting, with electric motors, but also with the new turboprops. That's funny, because planes seems to work way better (they need less power, but still). I could allow more RPM in cfg files, but i searched, and most helicopter don't go over 500 rpm, so that's weird. If you managed to do one, tell me ! (and gimme a screenshot, that'd be great !) Thanks !

Hey ! I like the new science system, BUT, i have one question. When running experiments, they sometime say "waiting..." and i don't know why, for exemple, i have a MITE satellite, with very short electric charge lifetime, and it keep going "waiting", does it affect my science gains ? if yes, how to stop it from waiting, especially for later longer experiment that i don't want to micromanage ? Thank you

Thanks a lot, it works for the most part, I can now use my custom chemical process, i figured out the good proportions to keep the game balanced, BUT ... It doesn't work ^^ I can run the chemical process, but it doesn't use Ore and doesn't produce Lf and Ox In Default.cfg, I added my custom process, then i added the module in the parts, then another module, that give the description, and finally, i added the ressource definition. Is there somewhere else where i should add something ? I'm not modder at all, and I don't really know wht i'm doing, so i tried to see how all other process worked, and i did the exact same. Do you think you could help me ? I can send screenshots of my Default.cfg. Thank you, sorry for such a long post EDIT: Oh, forgot to add Carbon dioxyde in dump_valve, i'm so dump... It works perfectly ! Thanks a lot , that'll make me happy to start a new colonisation carreer !!

Hello ! I'm running KSP with a lot of mods, and i'm currently trying to make refuel bases and landers. The problem is that i use kerbalism, and ISRU is way too complicated, the ratios doesnt match, and it produces way too much byproduct that jam if i don't micro manage to dump some things... SO i'd like to add a config for chemical plants and ISRU units that could process ore into liquidfuel and oxidizer. Yea that's the easy way but that's just too slow and hard (about 5 years to refuel my lander using small chem plant). The problem is that i don't know at all where those config are (i found for the stock one, but kerbalism replaces it) and... i dont know how to make it ! Thank you guys

Thanks a lot, i'll make a LH2/Ox lander then, it'll be 40m tall, but it'll be way easier to refuel !!

Hello, so i'd like to make a self-fueling lander using ISRU and Kerbalism, and i have some trouble: FIRST, is it possible to use cryogenic engine pack ? (are hydrogen and oxygen from kerbalism compatible with this mod) because hydrogen and oxygen are easier than Methane and Hydrogen peroxyde to produce. Then, if it's not, could you guys give me some tips, because it's very hard to do, and my lander often saturate with some resources, so the chemical plant don't produce anything anymore, and i don't want to micromanage my lander to dump resources, sometime i don't even know what i have to dump (and it take a loong time to fill tanks). Thank you ! hope that wasn't too painful to read. AND, how to get CO2, I need about 6/s and can only manage 0.2 with SpectroThing Variometer, any other way ?

I already tried that, but it only scale down the height, so kerbin looks flat if i lower it
-
Hey guys, i'm playing on x6.4 kerbin system, and i'd like to know if there's a way to scale down the terrain height without making a VERY flat looking kerbin ? like maybe a mod that change the whole relief (changing height and width of mountains, etc...) Because right now the mountains near KSC are about 25 km high... that's not easy when trying to land a Shuttle, and by lowering the terrain height, everything is ... flat Thank you !

Is this mod compatible with SMURFF ? I mean, does SMURFF apply on those new parts ? -
Alright, thank you for your reply, just saw on the Rescale mod topic that kerbalism is supported, that's great !

Hey guys, after a lot of time, my Space shuttle is woking ! Kind of... I run KSP with Deadly Reentry and x6.4 Kerbin size, so coming back from space at 5.5 km/s is not easy ! So I'd like to know how can i edit the heat resistance of a part (only some of them, i don't want deadly reentry to be useless) Should i go in the Squad folder or the Deadly Reentry one ? The parts i need to improve are the Shielded docking port, Landing gears and Vernor engines. Thank you for your replies guys, have a good day ! Here is da BEAST

Crew is not the problem, but i want to make a cargo version later, maybe including KIS cargo in it, and MK2 size is too small, i can't reach orbit with Mk2 parts i think
-
Yup, i'm currently crying, i CAN'T DO IT xD It's very hard, That's sad, cause i liked the idea of space travel being like earth travel, with reusable and single stage plane, but i guess it's too difficult for me... That's weird because some real life SSTO are almost working, and earth is x1.5 bigger than my kerbin ^^ Anyway, even a boosted shuttle couldn't fly because of reentry heating i'm not sure if i want to edit my parts... seems cheaty

Just posted a picture, I tried Nerva's/whiplash but their TWR is way too bad, and i can't manage to get out of atmosphere, but their ISP is way too good, so i'll try hard again to make it this way... 5.5 km/s is my orbital speed at 120 km, i CAN'T go under that ^^ (i'm in orbit with 200m/s DeltaV, so can't retroburn at all) Here's a picture of the disaster Thank for your reply, i'll try Nerva's now
