Glad to know it's not just me. For anyone interested from my previous post about MJ button not hiding, check this out: https://github.com/MuMech/MechJeb2/issues/464 The problem has been fixed in the latest dev build. To Moderators: Sorry for posting about MJ here, but I figured I mentioned the issue in my earlier post, so I may as well post the fix for that. I found the fix when I was about to post in the MJ thread.

I'm having the exact same issue as seen in this pic. The Kethane app button seems to be acting weird. It pops up over the resourse icon in my case and then after returning to VAB the same hexagon icon seems to be popping up over other buttons. Is someone else having this issue? More importantly, does anyone know of a fix? I can provide a log file if required. EDIT: Also tried disabling MechJeb but it doesn't seem to want to go away Another EDIT: The issue with Kethane button appears to have fixed itself. I'll take my complaint about MJ to the appropriate thread.

Oops. thanks

NEAR is killing me.
iFlyAllTheTime replied to Panzerbeard's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Oh, I'm guessing then that SAS is off when you launch? -
I recently picked a guf as my profile pic. The day I added that, the pic showed up on all my posts. Now, it only shows up on my profile edit page but not on any of my posts.

NEAR is killing me.
iFlyAllTheTime replied to Panzerbeard's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Isn't it quite the opposite? The fact that one shouldn't point the ship to far off of the velocity vector would mean that by the time one hits 45 deg the altitude, in most cases, is higher than 10 km. When I started with NEAR, the first thing I noticed was that my pitch over had to be very slow, which meant it was a rather steep climb through the first two layers of the atmosphere. -
Same with me as well!

I recently gave in and upgraded to 0.25 and installed all my usual mods I like to have. I noticed the "grey Vessel box" in the VAB now, which I never have before (the reason why I didn't notice it the first time around) I'm not complaining per se, but would just like to know which of my addons added that feature.
-
Ugh! I keep waiting for a response, but in the meantime there's a new update, which is not a bad thing. But, I'm dying to start 0.25 after my attempt to keep 0.24.2 running failed due to incompatibility with some plugins, and mostly my impatience, mewstly! Anyways, that's not your problem, I'll deal with it... The pdf instruction that comes with this mod says to remove "any existing UmbraSpaceIndustries folder" Won't this affect Karbonite0.4.4 mod that I have running? I'd think that needs to be left in Gamedata for Karbonite to work. Contents of 0.4.4 Karbonite: -000_USITools -CommunityResoursePack -Firespitter -OSRX -TextureReplacer -UmbraSpaceIndustries -MM 2.5.1 Contents of US_Core 0.9.3.25 -000_USITools -PartCatalog (I know I don't need this unless I'm running part catalog) -UniversalStorage -MM2.5.1 -installation pdf Firstly, sorry if this is a noob question. Secondly, sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong thread (maybe in Karbonite thread?) Again, great work by both mod creators! Thanks. Don't want to come off as ungrateful.

Do you ever have a feeling that an answer sometimes raises more questions? Anyways, I'll come over to your thread to ask those. I just want to make sure I've downloaded the right version and don't want any issues with running duplicate dlls US version: 0.9.0.242 All I'd want to know is, should I only copy the UniversalStorage folder into my Gamedata? Or do I also need the UmbraSpaceIndustries folder that comes bundled with US Core pack, which has the same files I already have in an identically named folder, which I have thanks to Karbonite.

Decoupler destroying my ship
iFlyAllTheTime replied to grimper12341's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I could be wrong on this one, but I thought Claw brought that fix. either way, OP, highly recommend getting that fix. -
Give this a try!

Hello Bob, Just because the changelog file in the download doesn't say "recompiled for 0.25", doesn't mean it is not working with 0.25 Is that right? Love your videos, keep up the good work!
-
@malkuth: Yeah, when I glanced over at the file myself, that didn't seem very "normal" to me. I have no idea what they mean or what's causing them, but I'd like to; I wonder where I could learn more about them. Oh well, I might give up on the idea of playing 0.24.2 Most mods should be updated for 0.25 by now anyways, right?

[1.0.5] TAC Life Support v0.11.2.1 [12Dec]
iFlyAllTheTime replied to TaranisElsu's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I'll try that and report back. EDIT: Ok, I removed the TST folder from my Gamedata folder and was rather relieved when I first loaded KSP. I could now see the TACLS icon show up in the toolbar. However, now every time I enter a building, say Mission Control or R&D, it doesn't let me return to the Spacecenter view. Here's the KSP log and the output log for my most recent session in KSP: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/xo8ok3r9hbmjk7k/AACh7sJFsMp-0fbLGQhSpUDta?dl=0 -
Lol, no worries. I thought I didn't download the proper version. I'm pretty certain that I haven't accepted or completed any of the contracts that you mention. I definitely have a couple of contracts in the Offered list though. So I downloaded 1.01 and did the swap in the Gamedata folder (deleted the MCE 1.07 and put the 1.01 in there) When I load up KSP, exact same as before. In the Sandbox mode it shows me the MCE button in spacecenter view. If I remember rightly, it says "Mission Controller 2" 1.1.2 at the top, when I go to edit the settings. In the Career mode though, no MCE button but the parts still appear in the tech tree. Here's the log if you need it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/v5en0wta2mnx57d/MCE%20KSP.log?dl=0
