  1. 'Ford Motor Company is launching a one-of-a-kind rocket-inspired muscle car to support educating the next generation of aviators. The Saturn V-styled "Apollo Edition Mustang," ...' - http://www.collectspace.com/news/news-070715a-ford-apollo-edition-mustang.html
  2. And here I thought "cat" was going to be one of them.
  3. Look at the debris track from Iridium 33. (top left of screen, under 'Groups')
  4. Also mentioned that in my post! Edit: Went back and found it... http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/123628-A-Picture-Of-The-Mun?p=1989512&viewfull=1#post1989512
  5. I would say it's quite accurate. The data for all the objects is coming from Space-Track.org, the orbital elements are displayed when the object is clicked on, and if you wish you can confirm those via tools on the NASA/JPL site (HORIZONS and/or Celestrak) which provides proper orbital elements (ephemeris)... data which I've pulled a number of times for use with Celestia.
  6. Well..... I'll imagine KSP could handle updating the positions and displaying the orbits the same as this Stuff In Space app does; After all, it's running right now on my machine with every satellite, rocket body, and debris part orbiting 'real-time' - and doing so without choking. To have each object an actual model with 'x' number of parts involved??? Yea (the way it's done now?), my laptop would melt ("Halt and Catch Fire") for sure. lol
  7. I've seen this before, it's pretty cool. That's an awful lot of debris and rocket bodies floating around out there. Now imagine throwing up 650+ more LEO satellites for that new internet dream folks have been discussing. Yea.
  8. It appears some data is missing.
  9. I live in NJ (USA), plenty of light pollution here... but I can still find and see M-31 Andromeda. Binoculars help. I posted in another thread not too long ago how to find it ... I believe you even commented in reply about it. Do you recall? Too bad you don't have access to better binoculars (or a telescope). The ones I have right here (beside me) are 7x35, and I can make out M-31 with them - yes, fuzz. If your tubes are out of alignment, just run with one.
  10. There's plenty of DAEMON removal tips online... just Google "daemon spyware removal", I believe the first one which comes up has manual deletion instructions.
  11. 'IQ' is a measurement of your capacity for learning. {Bias In Mental Testing, Arthur R. Jensen}
  12. Certain anti-inflammatory drugs and steroids (such as Decadron) used to curb brain swelling related to tumors and brain cancer can induce diabetes mellitus also, an issue I had to deal with in my dad's (RIP) late stage cancer treatments. He required (as kiwi1960 mentions) two types of insulin, fast acting and slow release. Due to the severity of his condition and fragility of his health, I had to constantly monitor his blood levels, 6 to 8 times a day... he would tell me "I feel like a pincushion."; Add to that the required insulin injections for maintenance. Not fun.
  13. No MechJeb here. I don't see MechJeb, or any other mod, as cheating; I see them for what they are - enhancements. I prefer however to play a near vanilla game, minimal mods ... Stock Bug Fixes, SCANsat, and (if it ever comes back) the Lazor Docking Cameras.
  14. Interesting. Now define the anomaly. I'm wondering if by chance it's the same that hit New Horizons.
  15. That's not what I got from reading the article. What happened as per the article: The processor was trying to handle two operations at the same time; Be it a shortage of memory (which I doubt highly was the issue) or tying up processor resources (becoming I/O bound or CPU bound, which I believe was the issue), the system analyzed it as an overload and did a 'safe mode' reboot. To me that spells potential loss of data on one or both of the tasks it was working on. The change in instructions they've given it (supposedly) will now allow the computer to process only one task at a time.
  16. You can link PayPal to a savings or checking account, or to a credit card. If you don't have any of those, look into a secured credit card... that's where you give the bank money, and they give you a secured card with a limited credit limit - you can then apply that card to the account. If you don't exceed the credit limit they set on the card, and, if you pay on time the full amount due (not the minimum amount), you'll find it helps you towards a good credit rating plus higher credit limit plus (eventually) an offer for a 'normal' unsecured credit card.
  17. It (the article) reminded me of this... lol.
  18. New off Google... "As NASA's New Horizons spacecraft enters the home stretch for its historic July 14 flyby past Pluto, the mission's managers say the glitch that briefly knocked the spacecraft offline over the Fourth of July weekend will never happen again." - http://www.nbcnews.com/science/space/ok-nasa-new-horizons-final-approach-pluto-n387696 Humm... will never happen again... happen again... happen again... happen again ..... Is this thing running Win10 or something?
  19. Do we put the "Manley Maneuver" into the Wiki?
  20. I'm actually kind of inclined to disagree with that lol. It appears to me the owners of said power plants and those they do shady business with (state governments), results in ever increasing rates for customers ... even though science and technology constantly provide new means for ever cheaper power production. Same with telecommunications ... when is the last time your cell phone or internet access bill rate dropped? ...but yea, what Scotius said. ^
