I read that article the other day (Google's). I was going to post it here, but decided against it. Trippy?... yes. Weird?... indeed. I'm not quite convinced they (the developers) even know what it is that they're looking at (the resulting images) in their interpretations. Reminds me of Electric Sheep.

* This is where you are wrong. In fact, the complete opposite is coming to life. Doctors and hospitals are more-so using the web for data sharing and remote diagnosis - even surgeries. I suggest you do a little research on this, as you're going to be seeing more and more of it in the future... I spent 12 years working in the industry related to just such a thing. I'll also add that, despite all the humbug and downfalls of many homeopathic treatments, there are also a large number which the door has been re-opened to and further research is underway about. To totally discount all of it is foolish... just don't walk into it blindly, do the homework.

...and they're quite tasty too.

1.0.4? Huh?

My opinion? This is not something you should be taking for a 'common cold'. Metamizole is for use in perioperative pain management (mainly postoperative). Except for its fever reducing ability, the rest of its function serves no purpose for a 'cold'. There are other alternatives available to you over-the-counter, which I would advise you to use instead.

I believe the view of most 'pets' is that we (humans) are nothing more than 2-legged fur-less food dispensers ... except for dogs, they think we're Gods. lol

I just happened to run across this link today... and it so applies. -
PSA: When people say stuff about "memory leaks", this is what it means.

Classes are not objects? Well, yes. But, as Fel points out, they can be. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1425093/can-a-class-return-an-object-of-itself Yes, you can do a lot of damage in Assembly if you're sloppy. Then again, you can equally do a lot of damage in C as well, as has happened time and time again ... likely with greater frequency considering the ever grown popularity of C languages. Use and Abuse of Garbage Collected Languages There's an old saying: If you want it done right, do it yourself. -

That's so you can see where you've been. If I didn't know better, I'd also say it looks like you're missing a wing lol.

With very few exceptions (2), all of my pets over the years have been rescues - including all 8 of my ferrets for example, and my last cat (who passed away last year and I miss dearly).

I don't know about Chrome (I'll have to Google it), but Firefox's source code is available to anyone - if you think it's 'spyware', you're free to check that out (and change and rebuild it if you want). Same with Linux. There are plenty of alternatives to Google. The time for crying about this stuff is long past, the world has essentially bought into it lock, stock, and barrel. Used to be developers/coders knew every aspect of the chip/OS/and language they wrote for; These days, even the best top-flight developers are nothing more than tool-users creating apps for end-users. From database engines to graphics engines, linkable libraries, APIs, frameworks, etc, it's all black-box technology which you use to piece things together with - (no disrespect, but) KSP using Unity is but one example. These days only the tool-makers know what's inside, and the majority of them are not very forthcoming with the finer details - proprietary trade-secret copyright blah blah blah etc. Use the tools you've been given and be happy, all else is just howling at the moon at this point. -
There were several articles on this a few weeks back which fully documented what was happening and why, it's entirely due to the way unicode was being handled and nothing more... people have been sending it out all over the place in light of playing jokes on friends. Go further back in Google and you will find the articles - this is actually old news.

I like her coloring, she's one pretty kitty.

LOL! Awesome find! It's just a little before my time, but wow, a lot of memories reading through that. Thank you.

History teaches some amazing lessons to those who pay attention. From day one of their history, you never ever buy anything from Microsoft first release. -
No, he's referring to SimCity, and properly so... http://www.engadget.com/2015/03/04/ea-shuts-down-maxis-studio-sims/

If you've that much disrespect for yourself and for others that you would trespass and steal/rob/etc, then perhaps you deserve what you get. I reserve the right to defend myself, my family, and my possessions/property... a thing you will not stop me from doing.

Double-barrel; 1st shot is a warning, 2nd shot counts. http://www.theboxotruth.com/the-box-o-truth-33-rock-salt-in-a-shotgun/

I didn't state that, lajoswinkler did. - - - Updated - - - I proposed the same scenario a while back (this thread?).

Val was listed as "debris"??? I think you need to install Claw's Stock Bug Fixes mod. As for capsules and other such components which contain crew which get turned into debris, I agree - they shouldn't be considered debris while 'occupied'. I had that happen in v0.90, and had to go hunt through the debris for the part containing the lost crew (which I later recovered).

"Mercury has very little atmosphere" - https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/planets/profile.cfm?Object=Mercury "Mercury has a very tenuous and highly variable atmosphere (surface-bound exosphere)" - https://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Atmosphere_of_Mercury Mercury has an atmosphere. - - - Updated - - - As for water ice on Ceres (or better yet, within Ceres)... "We see no real evidence for ice at the surface of Ceres," Rivkin said, noting that the dwarf planet is too warm. "However, conditions beneath Ceres’ surface should allow buried ice to remain there." - http://www.astrobio.net/news-exclusive/ice-on-ceres-an-interesting-paradox/ "One of several mysterious bright spots on dwarf planet Ceres could be venting a plume of water vapor into space, ..." - http://news.nationalgeographic.com/2015/03/150317-ceres-nasa-dwarf-planet-plume-space-science/ And (a year old already)... "Astronomers have discovered direct evidence of water on the dwarf planet Ceres in the form of vapor plumes erupting into space, possibly from volcano-like ice geysers on its surface. Using European Space Agency's Herschel Space Observatory, scientists detected water vapor escaping from two regions on Ceres, a dwarf planet that is also the largest asteroid in the solar system. The water is likely erupting from icy volcanoes or sublimation of ice into clouds of vapor." - http://www.space.com/24366-dwarf-planet-ceres-water-ice-volcanoes.html I would not close the book on there being water ice on or in Ceres. I'll just sit here and wait for the real authorities at ESA and NASA to explain it.

I have my favorites, which I play all of them regularly, switch it up a bit. KSP is up there ... would be top if the docking camera was brought back.

Mercury has an atmosphere, granted - thin as it is, yet water ice exists in craters at its north pole. Why couldn't Ceres have water ice?

Nice pics! That's a lot of driving, although I can relate - I enjoy a nice long ride as well, especially when it's on roads never traveled before. There are lots of really nice river cruises as well too, down the Rhine or Danube. Nice trip = Passau to Budapest ... arriving in Budapest at night (Beautiful!).
