I've a friend of mine who left this past Sunday to travel to Israel for the 'Blood Moon'. She'll return with pictures (I hope). If the skies here are clear, I'll be trying to get some pictures. Those living in the eastern tip of Brazil, like Recife, should get an awesome view. Image Credit: https://in-the-sky.org/news.php?id=20150928_10_100

Well, I did a search for "how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood". It gave me a 'page' full of words with my sentence strung in there among the words. So, I looked down the page (three lines down) and picked the following string of words off the page - "unambiguously woodmouse poons earlaps", and then went back and did a search on it. Not only did it NOT bring me back to the same page, my original search query (the woodchuck) was missing from said page. So maybe I'm missing something here... like what point/function this thing serves. - - - Updated - - - As far as things written in English, any good dictionary then contains everything ever written (in English).

I think you've missed the point of the exercise... "... working on a theory ...", "... (an) experiment ...", "... using very, very low tech techniques like ancient man may have."

I used to have a thermal glider, radio controlled. It had a 2-meter wingspan, used 3 channels (ailerons, elevator, and rudder). The radio was a 5 channel PCM/FM (ailerons, elevator, rudder, throttle, gear)... if you could see the plane, you could control it. You launched it via a 50ft surgical tubing catapult. Finding a place to fly it (and the right weather) was always a problem; We have so many small airports around here, and you have to stay below 300ft altitude. There are (were?) a number of clubs, but they're limited membership, very clique, and all into powered flight.

Without any information about your system other than you use Chrome, you could try running Malwarebytes followed by AdwCleaner. You might also Google it, there's plenty written up about it.

He was stuck in a Möbius loop. Guess he didn't have the 3 Laws.

Nice lightening shot, Cydonian Monk! I've been into photography since age 10, but I don't have any shots of the heavens other than the Moon. All of my work is of nature; flowers, insects, birds and animals and such. I don't know if you folks are interested in that. As for my equipment, other than digital 'toys', Nikon-F2s... yea, film. lol

Well explained in the book.

Ugh... chemo. Hang in there. Wishing you and yours all the best. -
I get it, I really do. Don't worry, the depths of absurdity we're falling into have only just begun. Me? I want to marry my favorite pair of shoes.

Played it for the first time tonight, via Kongregate. I guess it was the FF mode? I made it to #1 twice, for a few minutes anyway. The game gets down to only a few players, I ended up 4th and 5th (best games for me). I'll be playing this more, it's fun. I use the same name there as here.

I don't hear the Wilhelm scream, but I do hear what sounds like either cattle and gunshots in the deep background or the background creature ambiance from the Giants: Citizen Kabuto game. I love that game, I think I'll go play it for a while.

I threw two HullcamVDS cameras on one of my jets... one for daytime and another with night vision. The only way to fly - like having your face pressed up against the windshield lol.

You'll need to elaborate (if you can) because I'm lost.

Well, if Jeb was a real man ... strike that ... Kerbal, he'd land and let his stranded fellow take his ride back home and wait for the next ship.

It's not so much that it's a second operating system... in fact, it's not very alien from Windows at all. It's more-so about the fact of the wealth of free resources; audio, image, and video editing utilities. Add to that, the entire package booted from a live disk is optimized for low-latency. You should at least try it.

Not sure what to title this but please check this thread out!

If you're looking to start your own business, you need to know what you're doing, and you need a market. If there is no market, you can try to create a market, but you need to know what you're doing... and you need to really keep at it - persistence. Keep in mind that, typically, a startup business operates at a loss for the first 3 years. Best wishes to you, and good luck in your endeavor. -
It's related to the 8.4 earthquake off the coast of Chile yesterday. There's a thread in here about it.

I discovered that the lights on the *new* large landing gear don't work, so I added my own. It didn't quite go as planned lol.
