Maybe Elon Musk read your post.

Would I cheat death? I think I already have, a few times. On one hand, I wouldn't mind hanging around just to see what happens with this mad world; On the other hand, I'm not liking what it is I'm seeing of where it's heading now, so maybe not.

I can see it now... the quest for a 'clean, green bomb'.
-
Interesting. Well, from the looks on their faces, it appears to have been a smooth ride down ... right up until those retros firing. No thanks! lol
-
Ok, this is a new one for me - first time I've seen video of one actually landing ... why is there an explosion?
-
Of course the sun is a lightbulb... I get paid good money to change it once in a while.

Any watch with a battery life less than 5 years (Lithium) isn't worth spit.

Why are my eyes trying to fit Nix as a chunk missing out of Charon?

I watched the towers go up. I watched them come down. I passed through them daily (the north tower) when I worked in NYC, and had I still been working in NYC at the time - I'd have been there at the hour the first plane hit. I've had dinner at Windows On The World, 107th floor, with my lady ... watched the sun set over Jersey, watched the lights come up downtown (such a marvelous sight)... so odd to be sitting there eating dinner, watching helicopters fly by below you. They, and some of those within them, were a part of my life. They are now all gone. Need I say more?

According to my SCANsat of Tylo, there is one anomaly present. I've not been there so I can't tell you what it is.

I made comment about the 'dunes' a while back, only what I was referring to were the 'dunes' visible (in that same image) in the light areas both to the left and right of that central 'island' as well as the bottom. But as I've seen in nearly all the images, there is an evident 'rippling' throughout all the structures everywhere ... which I previously commented as looking like a pile of snow melt.

Math and science skills as adults are protective
LordFerret replied to PB666's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Oh and yes, Anthropogenic, not Anthropomorphic. It's not the first time I've mixed the two. My bad. -
Without getting into the chemistry/biology of it, I've dealt with an Alzheimer's patient in the past. I currently care for an aging family member with advanced dementia. Similar, but very different. None-the-less the affect of either is devastating to both the individual and those around them who have to care for and witness the progression and decline. We'll be watching this unfold with great interest.

We've been discussing this all morning. The 'fine print'** involved is something which needs greater emphasis before people get carried away with envisions of plague. ** "CJD may arise after prion contaminated instruments are used in brain surgery. Proteins are much harder to remove than bacteria and viruses, so surgeries performed in those with amyloid plaques could potentially result in instrument contamination and transmission to the next patient."

If you're going to quote me, then quote me fully: "... the papers pretty much all state so (that evidence is there and it needs more research)." Thank you. -

Mobile phones and cancer: There is a clear link evident, but not conclusive. It needs more research. Do a Google Scholarly search on the subject, the papers pretty much all state so (that evidence is there and it needs more research). Same for anthropomorphic climate change, there just isn't enough evidence to state it as fact... to do so, I would question one as being 'scientifically illiterate'. -

[1.1]Hullcam VDS - mod adopted by linuxgamer
LordFerret replied to Albert VDS's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Albert VDS... I noticed for the first time tonight that I'm getting NREs related to your mod. The first example I think I've posted in here before (pardon if I have), but I'm not sure if it's actually from your mod... NullReferenceException at (wrapper managed-to-native) UnityEngine.Transform:INTERNAL_set_localRotation (UnityEngine.Quaternion&) at UnityEngine.Transform.set_localRotation (Quaternion value) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at SpaceCenterCamera2.UpdateTransformOverview () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at SpaceCenterCamera2.UpdateTransform () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at SpaceCenterCamera2.Update () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 (Filename: Line: -1) The second example, I had 22 instances pop up in the output_log file... NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at HullcamVDS.MovieTime.Update () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 (Filename: Line: -1) I've saved the persistent and output_log files; If you want them just let me know and I'll make them available via DropBox. -
No, not the album. I found this little guy out in the street by my house, so a rescue was in order (before some heartless SOB ran it over, of which we've many here, people just don't care). I brought it into the house and put it in a big box, gave it a fresh strawberry to nosh on... but it was more interested in getting out of the box (of course). After dinner (mine) I took it back out to the woods, about 30 yards in from the roadway, and turned it loose at the edge of the marsh/stream ... and off it went 'Truckin'. It's an Eastern Box Turtle, I don't often see many of them around here.

The two go hand in hand there Tex. - - - Updated - - - In the beginning, yes, there was a basket (literally, a peach basket). Check out some basketball history. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_basketball -
According to Google, books with "pink skinned alien" referenced are: Genocide by Paul Leonard and Flat World: The Arrival: Part One by Ivor KovaÄÂ

Prior to v1.0 I was on a quest to rover to all the Mun anomalies, but v1.0 came out and put an end to that. Since then, not even looking for anomalies, I lifted off from a Mun landing only to see the Mun Arch beneath me as I flew up and over a ridge ... didn't even know I was close to it (should have looked at my SCANsat lol).

Yes, I read those devnotes. The gist I got from it was that someone left the team, and with him the access. I'd like to know more about this 'migration' problem. Migration from what to what?... where to where? If we're talking an image server, why not utilize Wiki's? Anyway. I thought about creating an account. If nothing else, I thought perhaps I'd update the images for the parts; There's over 40 that are missing images. That can make it hard for some folks to look up and reference stuff. There's also been a lot of PSAs since v1 came out, stuff like power output of various solar options at various distances, power/efficiency curves for various engines, and how-to's of the functionality of new parts ..... it would be nice to see this added/updated in the Wiki. In the beginning, I relied almost as heavily on the Wiki as I did information gleaned from these forums. I can't say that now, not with the state the current Wiki is in. It must be frustrating for new KSP'ers... I can relate. Not too long ago I put out a call (a suggestion) that volunteers update it - those with the knowledge and know-how, with correct data. It didn't get very far lol.
