Is there any possible way I can help you guys? I, like everyone else, want this mod back, and forgot about auto-updates on steam. So, any way I can pitch in? I dont know about coding, but do know how to make bugs happen.
-
I actually do it all in one piece, atleast for fuel depots. Never actually built an ISS-looking station thing.

You know you overbuilt your rocket when...

Largest Rocket in KSP History (First stage only)
GiantTank replied to GiantTank's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Of course, you have to lift the part up also with engines. And there is a massive issue with ksp freaking out and killing itself. As in, corrupting every craft file, making it impossible to build things, and forcing your hands at a reinstall. Plus you gotta click a lot for the thing to get to the size its at. Such as this which is 100 meters long and 200 meters tall. Cheers! -
I went a lil insane using the RO Seadragon mod cfg thing. And came up with a 1.4 million ton rocket. FAR hates me, but its just the first stage. I will add 2nd stage and fairing later. For now, Ill take a break. This caused several crashes today from the thrust plates. I changed the attach rules instead.

How do generally install/deinstall your mods?
GiantTank replied to CaptRobau's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Its easier with CKAN. Plus, CKAN lets you install 50 mods at once, lets you see all the updated mods, and lets you download packs for realism overhaul. It also gives you reccommended, dependent and suggested mods. -
Idk, happened to me when I was modded. This seems to be a common issue, I have seen it pop up twice on my computer alone. Both times I had to reinstall. However, go to KSP folder->Saves->SaveName->Ships->VAB and see if a craft file is unusually small, like 1kb. If it is, delete it because it is most likely a corrupt craft file. If it doesnt work, or there isnt a craft file like that, you may have to reinstall. Wait a bit first.

"Vessel Name Bug"; Editor crash.
GiantTank replied to Thesonicgalaxy's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Worst bug in the game. It broke 2 installs of ksp, one stock and one modded, and forced me to reinstall. Yet everyone responds to crash reports that are obvious. Almost nobody tries to help with the hard stuff. -
Cannot load ships from VAB.
GiantTank replied to Loopman's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Happened to me too: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/111085-Cannot-Load-Ships-into-VAB-Craft-file-is-normal The only thing I could do was reinstall this game. Squad needs to get off their gimbal and fix this glitch. Also, if you have 2+ installs of ksp, it spreads to those too. And people complain about crashing with 500 mods. -
And again, it strikes, because bugs. Now i gotta reinstall this game. Squad, this is by far the worst bug!!! It spreads to the stock game too. ... is this! And nobody even helps. Jesus. OF COURSE WHEN YOU HAVE 80 MODS UR GONNA CRASH! THATS CLUTTER! STOP ASKING WHY! YOU DONT NEED SUPPORT! I found one thing. It appears to be caused by PF thrust plates with more than 40 nodes. Screw this. I hate this game now.

http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/57626-Realistic-Solar-System-Crafts-MEGATHREAD?p=1745636#post1745636 (scroll down 4 posts, not the first one) Because 700000 ton rockets are logic. -
The NaNo virus also seems to be responsible for an entirely new breed (or 2) of krakeni, modded games. The first one was shortly after I put the finishing touches on a 667,000 ton rocket (yes, that big, look in my posts) the game was crippled. Couldnt launch. Ships being built in the VAB lost parts midway through construction. Everything was bleak. It even spread through game installs, tearing into the stock game. Then, I built a 1.1 million ton rocket (yes, 1.1 million tons, RSS for you) and it ripped itself apart on the pad, throwing launch clamps on suborbital trajectories. I dont even know.
-
Shoot, im in RSS! Cannot board, unfortunately. Wait. "Aerodynamics, Valentina, Reentry Heat. All of these cannot be beat. Resources and terrier, the more the merrier. Fairings and the barn, ISP and resources, landing gear and wings, so many new things! Beta, I summon thee!" *BANG* Hey, came here from RSS, which will be broken soon. Now trying to catch the hypetrain.

EDIT: Found the seadragon cfg

Ok, so maaaaaybe I might be working on something again.
GiantTank replied to Whackjob's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
I dont think ur gonna be able to use RCS or Reaction wheels to turn the rocket. Use an SRB or a LV909 to turn that beast for turning over the horizon and burning to the mun. Good luck! -
A fun idea I had.
GiantTank replied to Whirligig Girl's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
That sounds like an awesome idea. I dont think we could expect this in the next update or 2, possibly 1.2-1.3? I really like this idea. Redoes the tutorial. Also, in sandbox you can play these too. -
I love building new RSS rockets to do insane missions, like a venus return. Its just so satisfying when it all comes together. Apart from that, I like flying around the space center in tiny drone planes and doing stupid things like flying under bridges.

Ever have a rocket that just grew and grew and grew...

Cant see the image. Id really like to. -

GiantTank replied to Whackjob's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
I do actually think it caused a really bad bug that made the VAB unresponsive after a couple of minutes and made it so you couldnt launch crafts, build things or anything like that. It even reached into the stock game, and I had to reinstall thr whole game. Im trying it again anyway. -

http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/57626-Realistic-Solar-System-Crafts-MEGATHREAD/page45 Well (scroll down a bit, like 4 posts) might be the USSR. However it used PP and various other mods, and i cfg edited the launch clamps to be 100 times normal strength. -
Realistic Solar System Crafts - MEGATHREAD
GiantTank replied to Captain_Party's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Please. I started working on a 90meter rocket. The first stage alone weighs 1.1 million tons. All of one part, a procedural SRB. Oh yeah, and a TWR of 1.02. Screw logic. Also 500th post for this thread! RSS for ya above, dreaming up absurd things that if you listen carefully, can hear your computer screaming STOP PLAYING KSP!!!!!!!
