  1. Agreed on both counts... I just started using different parts after giving up putting inflatables on my large interplanetary ships. Porkjet, I'd like to see inflatables with 2.5m ends, maybe a scaled up hab module that holds 10 kerbals, and maybe a centrifuge that inflates only a little bit bigger than the current one, but has 2.5 connector points. Maybe a small, radial attached hab as well? Just a suggestion.
  2. Okay, so it works, but not with EOO pack. That makes it crash just before the main menu loads.
  3. Sorry, made an edit. Meant to say I tried it with 9-2. But yes, I do have a bunch of mods.
  4. Not with 7-3. I'll try that. Note: Did try Astronomer's Edge of Oblivion with 9-2. Didn't work.
  5. So the moment I updated to .24, I deleted every mod except EVE and ATM. Start up .24, no clouds. Deleted it until update. Then I saw there was 9-2 on Github. I installed it; same issue, no clouds, and on the secondary screen the texture of the Mk1-2 pod on the loading screen was messed up. This might've been asked before, but does anyone know what the issue is? I'm playing 32bit Mac.
  6. Go play a different game for a while. Play Career, or something. I find that taking a break after getting bored or frustrated always gives me time to think of new motivations for playing. Just have fun!
  7. KSPI does something basic with this concept, though it's nowhere near as complicated as what you have proposed. Perhaps you could work with FractalUK on this?
  8. It's spelled Galileo, so you were close. And Galileo looks very similar to Voyager and Cassini, so that probably would be a no-go. But I could be wrong, it's not my call.
  9. ...do suffocated Kerbals turn purple? Gotta work on that. I'll send Bill into orbit with too little TAC O2.
  10. I have a similar issue; I have some of the parts but not all; I think I might have everything but the command pods. I'm playing on a Mac.
  11. Linux already has 64-bit, correct? And now Windows will have it, but what's the issue with Mac?
  12. Ooh. I usually play RSS, so...that requires a lot of mods. But outside of that, KSP Interstellar, TACLS, and KAS.
  13. Czo, new forum user, longtime lurker reader. I really like you writing, and your english is better than some Americans. Do you think you could maybe write a guide or just a few tips on the forum on writing AARs? I'd like to write one, but I'm fairly certain it would be pretty bad, and I'm sure other people feel the same. Could you maybe make a new forum thread with some pointers? We'd all be grateful, though I'm not asking for anything of length.
  14. Oh, okay. I found it. Thanks. Works now. Do I actually need the thrust section, then, or can I delete it?
  15. Okay, so I think I've caught a config problem. I noticed my Saturn V from FASA wasn't getting fuel to the first stage, so I went back and looked at the thrust structure for the S-IC stage and noticed that it lacked a fuel tank. Based on the FASA config files, it looks like it should have a fuel tank, but the RO config file for the Saturn doesn't have a modular fuel tanks module written in. Could someone confirm this?
  16. Cool. I was aware that there were no adaptations for the pods, but it'd be cool to have some of the new engines and boosters in RO.
  17. Could someone post a screenshot of the VAB assembly for the CSM-LEM payload? Because I cannot for the life of me figure out how to attach the LEM to the CSM bottom and then to the Saturn V (RSS has broken the craft files); the nodes for the CSM engine are way up in the engine and I an figure out how to attach the LEM to that. I've tried to use the deployment device, but it doesn't leave enough space. It may be an RSS issue, but if so I'd like to see an example of the diagram to determine the issue. EDIT: I may have figured it out. Is the base part supposed to go below the CSM, and the deployment device attached to the nodes from that and used to attach the LEM? Attaching it that way seems to fill the space logically.
  18. Which book? You might be talking about 2010: Odyssey 2. The Alexei Leonev from that book has a fusion-powered thermal engine system, which I think is closest to the thermal rocket.
  19. If I may make a suggestion- NovaPunch now has a large new update, several new engines, and the pods have been updated. Perhaps the config for it could be updated? (if it is, it doesn't work for me) EDIT: Also, if you haven't seen, Bobcat has released a new version of HOME. That would be cool to see for RO, even if it doesn't have a real world analogue.
