I want to rescale the planets to 64 of their size, however, i have a problem with Deimos/Gilly, when i touch the ground , my vessel explodes, even if i am going at 0.3 m/s. Also, the camera gets through the ground. I find that the rep penality isn't enough, a bigger rep penality or an exponential one would be better. -

On average, how many times a kerbal day a kerbal attempts to eat? Also, the 1rep/day penality is, IMO not enough, because reputation can be easily earned. A fund penality would be better. Otherwise, good work! i love this idea, and i also love that it doesn't add new parts -

I have made a RSS config that shrink our planets to 64% of their sizes. http://www./view/3dzw5jbkt9uu8i6/RealSolarSystem.cfg I will improve it later. I post it now if somebody is interested. There is some problems with gilly/deimos , vessels explodes when they land on it. http://imgur.com/a/2T5O4#0 Note that earth's atmosphere is 91 km high and not 130Km. -
What is atmosphereMultipler in the RealSolarSystem.cfg file?

I am looking for a RSS 6.4* config that keep the solar system textures and planet. Does it already exist? If not, i would be happy to do it.

I really like this mod. However i would realy like to see a 6.4 config with the solars system, not the kerbol system. Basically a 6.4 config of the actual RSS( for exemple earth would be ~4000 Km in radius and the moon ~1100 km) I also want to keep the solar system textures. Does it work if i alter the RealSolarSystem.CFG file If it doesn't already exist, i would be happy to make it. -
Someone must have noticed if it is only a RSS glitch. It's a conflict with another mod. Do you have MaximumWarp/dynamicwarp or timecontrol, mecki? Maximum warp messes up with customs asteroid, but i don't have it, however, i have timecontrol.

I have a glitch: when i timewarp, asteroids keep spawning but don't despawn, after a 1 year warp, i have more than 1400 asteroids in the solar system, it make the game unplayable (my game is at 5fps, while it is at 20-25 fps usually)

NOOOO I'M SURE IT CAN BE DONE! And helicopters ( not gyroplanes) are not a "loopholes in the physics engine". And doing an infiniglider is easier than doing a Gyroplane/Helicopter, can you make 2 different leadeboards? -
I'm still trying to do it with a nuclear-powered SSTO helicopter... Results soon.

Oh my god! An ion ssto! Have you tried it on Eve? Maybe it can works. -
An isp of 52? it is impossible, ion engine has a 4200 isp even at sea level. I think you read it wrong or it's a glitch.

So, an eve ssto is impossible without wings/control surface. Maybe ion for taking off and climbing up and nuclear for speeding up and going to space? But it would need many Ion engines and wings. hmmm... I'm sure it can be done!

One question: has anyone tried to do an ion-powered plane and take it off eve? Ion Powered planes work on kerbin, maybe they can work on eve.

Yes, but now this is an infinglider. I don't think goduranus made this challenge to see infiniglers. But it fit in the rules.
