They're all in the MM files now. In 'GameData\TVPP\Parts-Rebalance' there's several *-Extra-* files, those have the rescaled stock parts. Obviously they need module manager, which is stated several times in the README, so if you removed the MM .dll I have nothing to say to you -

If you're using VS, just edit Properties/AssemblyInfo.cs I assume monodevelop has something similar. -

Thanks, I'll make a note and take a look as soon as B9 ... whatever we call this release is done. -
Damages engines IRL have reduced thrust and overheat more, so that's easy. Piston engines also have erratic thrust (less trivial to implement) Landing gear bottoms out (damaged suspension), loses grip, the wheel axle seizes (maybe it can be done by forcing the brake always on), and will not extend/retract. Tanks lose resources from leaks.

Something of a necro, but attm may have something to do with whether the part was attached in angle snap mode or not. Rotation on a snapped part works somewhat differently in the editor. -

I've been meaning to take a look at your pack. Its in my list of things to do when the next B9 release is done -
I'm not sure what the top speed/altitude is with AJE's RAPIER/SABRE - I'm too busy getting the next B9 ready to play - but according to the design spec of the real-world SABRE - which the B9 SABRE engines I made and the squad RAPIER are obviously based on - switchover to closed-cycle should occur @ Mach 5.61. The switchover altitude is somewhat unclear (or was last time I checked their whitepaper PDFs) but their flight path goes up to about 28k, then does a quick dip down to 26k before zoom-climbing to space. I've always assumed they switch over at the end of the dip, myself. Of course nobody knows if they'll actually do that when/if they actually/ever get built, but that's another issue entirely.

I can only speak for the B9 aerospace side. Me and bac9 like K3|Chris' work a lot, and since the last time bac9 did an IVA he pretty much swore to never do one again we're only too happy to have someone do the missing IVAs and cockpits and do them well at that. We still have to finalize which version of which IVA will be in B9, but no, you won't get a version of B9 without them. Don't go IVA in the HL cockpit if the FPS drop bothers you - or better, whine at Squad until they implement sensible culling in IVA scenes.

See Nathan's post. For very irregular cross-sections, its sometimes easier to import the .mu and measure the mesh area, then get the diameter of an equivalent area circle.- 14,073 replies

So long as they're a 'Part' with no aerodynamic PartModules attached, all you need to do is make sure the nodes are the right size, as FAR uses node size to approximate the extra drag of an exposed node.- 14,073 replies

One of the things missing from the community patch is there are a couple of B9 engines that have an alternator but lack the resource block outright. Can't remember which ones, it was like 150 commits ago on trunk Also, it might be for 0.23.5, depends just on how long we take.- 14,073 replies

Testing: Switching to craft via map Switching to craft via tracking centre Switching to craft via keyboard in range Docking/undocking Everything passed, it all remembered the tank type and amount. Looks good to me PolecatEZ, PM me your email and ill give you read access to git trunk on bitbucket - that should make it easier for you to target mainline. We may make the repo public in the future, but for now its still set to private.

Not sure how much part reduction we'll be able to do - more values change in our different fuselage types than are usually supported ... changing connection strengths with fuselage lengths is necessary for the B9 fuselages to work correctly, and crash tolerances change for structural (empty) fuselages vs fuel-carrying ones. The HL is even worse, different sizes have more/less attach nodes. We'll certainly be conflating all the separate tank types of a size into a single part, that should take out over 50 parts from the count, the rest may come later as plugins provide more functionality.

Everything in the FAR config files has a value of 'e' between 0.7 and 0.9, so just use whatever the stock swept wing does. None of the existing values are accurate, since there are no accurate formulas for 'e' anywhere.- 14,073 replies
