  1. I do believe that \'Middle English\' is the more precise description of that which vexx is interested in.
  2. First try, with two completely different satellites. 36.9km was the closest I could get a screenshot, I think it might have come down to about 36.5 though. It was gone less than ten seconds after I spotted it.
  3. An avatar-lacking creeper*. *sss = minecraft creeper, signature suggests the other definition
  4. I think I speak for many others when I ask you: can they withstand a direct railgun blast without massively changing the ship\'s trajectory or causing the main ship to explode?
  5. Proving my point about GHz meaning almost nothing. The 2.4 GHz i7 in my MBP is more than twice as powerful as my 2.6GHz AMD Phenom II X4 810.
  6. It\'s May. If you\'re going to get it around xmas, prices will have dropped, new equipment will have been released, etc. etc. Don\'t buy anything yet
  7. I know this may seem frustrating to hear, but it\'s not about who\'s right, it\'s about attitude.
  8. Whatever happens, stay calm.
  9. NovaSilisko, DownUnder, and kwChallenger are great packs for parts, although some are slightly more powerful than others. Industrial Flames and Explosions has some great reality-based rockets and landers, but they\'re OP relative to everything else. I have avoided using them in my latest editions of KSP as I like to blend parts within the same rockets, and therefore OP packs are out of favor. Damned Aerospace/Robotics has some great addons, mostly centered around C7\'s pack but usable for other things as well of course. Probodobodyne has must-have parts for space stations and the like; BACE likewise is a must-have for munbases and can also be used for space stations. Don\'t forget The Node, a cube that allows connections to every side. This expands your space station possibilities by a thousandfold. I\'m sure I forgot a few, but there\'s most of what I consider pretty great ;P
  10. I too would love that bomber. Does it have its own engines on board though? That\'s rather important or the entire thing\'s flight characteristics will be... off.
  11. I\'m currently running KSP on the 17' MBP and it\'s working beautifully. Does the 13' have only integrated graphics or does it have a dedicated card? If it\'s just integrated I\'m not sure if it can run KSP well. A lot of the work is processing, but the GPU comes into play as well.
  12. Step 1: Select the tiny, half-meter Prodobobodyne command module. Step 2: Put a half-meter SRB underneath it. Step 3: Attach wings. Step 4: ??? Step 5: Profit I\'ve hit targets 10km out with a simple half-meter design, using the Mini Booster from Nova\'s pack; the larger ones from Down Under have allowed me to land within 50 meters of a target 40km out. As far as hitting a target with bombs goes, that\'s a rather difficult one all right.
  13. If I have some additional structures attached to the sides of the PowerSat, will it still work? The placement of them won\'t interfere with the solar panels.
  14. Five. Too small to make out details, but from its previous appearance I must assume it\'s also been stretched.
  15. That\'s a pretty sweet-looking Virgin Galactic attempt you have there. I tried my hand at something like a P-38 (ww2 plane) but it did not handle very well at all. (oh, i cfg edited those half meter nacelles to have 150 fuel and tripled their weight in a poor attempt to have half-meter fuel tanks. AFAIK, there are none currently in existence.) I later made a full-size model but it didn\'t handle any better.
  16. socket, gHz barely matter these days. A Core Duo at 2.6 GHz will lose to a Core 2 Duo (more advanced architecture and other advances) running at 2.2 GHz. A Pentium 4 at 3.8 GHz or whatever their highest numbers got to will still lose to the lowest i3.
