  1. You realize that this contest will be won by a mod no matter what happens? Once the thread grows to unmanageable proportions to the point of causing performance issues, a mod will have to lock it and therefore the chance to get the last post. Silly mortals. ;P Cheers! Skunky

  9. It's most definitely a Photoshopped image. The Kearth is the only celestial body in the game atm. Even the sun is just a point light source. Move along. This isn't the moon you're looking for. Cheers Skunky
  10. Are you renaming all names to be unique, both files and in the config? If all the names used by your new parts aren't unique, the program tends to get confused and can revert to the original part.

  12. Even if someone did make this, there is an issue where only 1 top node can be connected at one time. This means two of those connections would not exist and the fuel would not flow down. Also, it would allow flexing that may result in catastrophic failures. Hopefully that will change in the future. Cheers! Skunky

  17. There has to be some limit to how much stress a part can handle. Of course you can tweak the config, but that's not really addressing the issue of trying to put an impossible load on top of a rocket.
  18. I'd venture a guess that there is a name conflict with a file or config setting. Make sure you're giving everything a unique name.

  21. You should be able to enter two entries, the ones that are indicated as locked, and the other values are calculated for you. If you're using the orbitcalc.html, you can enter your Apogee and Perigee and it will tell you how fast you need to be going at both points to maintain that orbit. If you lock to Apogee and Velocity, put your height and speed at Apogee and it will tell you what your Perigee and speed should be to maintain orbit. Cheers! Skunky

  23. Unfotunately, there is no perfect solution. The best you can do is make it difficult to the point they will go find an easier target. With the additional mods now on board, we should be able to nip a spam flood quickly. Just hit the report link when you see spam and we'll nuke it. Cheers! Skunky
