No. I run 32 bit.

If you want stealth in space, you need to either change the laws of physics, or use magitech. If you can use warp drive like tech to create a sort of pocket dimension, you could leave something the size of a proton in this universe. That's magitech, though.

Huh. Strange. 1.3 is the most stable version I've ever seen (been playing since 2012).

I remember seeing a KSP setup at a FIRST robotics competition. That was cool. It was in the back, though. Hard to find. I think multiple smaller events would be the best idea. One near KSC, one in Rocket City (Near MSFC), one near Houston, one in Mexico City, and a whole number of other locations. Of course, hitching onto other conventions is preferable. Maybe bring some KSP setups to Eclipse Parties?

I used to draw mechs all the time... really bad drawings. I was a kid. But it was fun.

The only thing that badges me is that filament costs less than ink... although you will need more filament...
-
Oh, trust me, you still have to do many things by hand. Sanding, painting, putting it together (if it's in multiple parts), and much, much more.

Hi! Billy Mays here for The Great American Eclipse!
-
I think it's supposed to a general purpose thread or something like that. Sort of like the general science questions thread?
-
What about 1036 Ganymed? What you are referring to is 399 Persephone, not just the name Persephone. Besides, two solar system bodies can share the same name. It's not much of an issue.

RIP. I guess we're doomed, huh?

Does anyone know how to make.. Hydroplanes?
Bill Phil replied to BlueNightfury00786's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
All I can tell you is that if your car is hydroplaning, you'll lose control. Unless you mean something entirely different? -
Basically all of them are cool. Though Jupiter and its moons are some of the coolest. Imagine if Mars and Venus appeared in our sky at more than the Moon's angular size? That's basically the Galilean moons. From Europa, Jupiter is ~12 degrees wide, 24 times the angular size of our Moon. Both Io and Ganymede would be less than a degree, but nonetheless larger than the Moon's apparent size. Callisto would be about half as wide as our Moon. All at closest approach, and all of these are approximate. Really neat stuff.

Good luck, man. Hope it all turns out well.

Yeah, it's broken. Actual link: http://nasa%20reignites%20program%20for%20nuclear%20thermal%20rockets%20-%20universe%20today%20https//apple.news/Agf6Zk4hUMY-Rga8TjY-lmQ There's an article name, but no website, I think.

How effective would the "rocket ship" be?
Bill Phil replied to Grand Ship Builder's topic in The Lounge
Torchships are perfectly fine so long as your radiators are as hot as the surface of the Sun, if not hotter. -
I think I still have the disc. I managed to install it on a Vista, but something tells me that it won't work on my Windows 10...

Fitting it into the Lexington? If I recall, planes were loaded onto the Akron (and the Macon) after it was flying. The airship would cast off and then the planes would follow and grapple the trapeze. Of course, airship tender ships with mooring masts were built, and would likely be used. Sorry, I'm a total nerd when it comes to this stuff. I might just draw myself as a Kerbal. I'll see if I can find the time.
-
I don't think the Akron could even hold a Dauntless in its bay, or even the weight. Still, it's very good, and I do like it a lot. I'd like to see more flying aircraft carriers. Reminds me of a great video game... ...maybe it should be called something else. Pandora, anyone? *sigh Has anyone played Crimson Skies? Anyone? Please?

There's already a thread for this... I think. Anyways, SpaceX may do it, but they won't be coming back. NASA may do it, and they likely will return.

My grandfather visited Hollow Earth in 1952. He took a picture.
Bill Phil replied to MedwedianPresident's topic in The Lounge
Probably an aurora. The picture, that is. -
Yeah... 7 was a Saturn IB flight...

It says nearest sun-like star, but I'm pretty sure that there's a yellow dwarf in the Alpha Centauri system... maybe they mean more than just physical characteristics... I guess we can expect a visit from the Race. After all, they are from Tau Ceti...
