[0.90] AstroGamer's EvePlus Mod (v0.1)
SmashingKirby148 replied to SmashingKirby148's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I'm not sure, you could try. But Backup your KSP! -
You are so good at that! I wanted to make part mods, but they are too hard for me to Model things and make animations for them.
-
Exactly! - - - Updated - - - Yeah! Hi-five bro! This probably isn't intentional, but that looks like a KSP pun to me. Ike? XD)

Why is everyone giving out about the fairings? 1) I know you aren't talking about them not being clamshell, but still, it's cool how they shatter off. 2) They do let you place them how you want to place them. The snap thing only happens when moving the fairing close to the centre. And if the fairing is wider than the rocket it self, then it's your payload that's the problem. 3) I don't even know what you are on about when you say they disappear. Sorry if that sounded rude, but what do you mean? I take the rocket of and the fairing stays. I just have to edit it slightly if the payload is too tall. In short, the fairings aren't a problem, and hey, as long as they serve their purpose (which they do for me), I'm ok with them. - - - Updated - - - They're both procedural fairings when you think about it.

What did I do? Well, I delivered a fuel tank to my Mun Base. It was very painful. Why? Well, I realised that it didn't have any way of lifting it self, so I used a kerbal to lift it. Only to realise he wasn't strong enough, I used KAS to move some extra landing legs onto it. That worked, but it was slanted and wouldn't dock. So I reloaded a quicksave in search of another possible way only to realise (that I say realise alot) that quicksaving breaks docking ports. The two ports wouldn't dock, and I spent ages trying to find a way. So I got my kerbal on top of the fuel tank just so he wasn't in use. Well, he will never be in use ever again, because when I reloaded the quicksave, he sank in, yes, SANK IN to the tank all "Casper the ghost" style, and *poof!* He freaking died..... With 41 (now 42) kerbals killed, I feel so guilty I will most likely have to restart the game. T^T

Hey, I have a problem that might need to be fixed. I was making my base when I messed up docking a fuel tank (It was high enough but it was slanted), so I reloaded my quicksave, but when I did, the magnetic force on the docking ports was gone, and the docking ports acted as if they weren't even there at all, with no collision box. Help?

Ship icons don't show on map?
SmashingKirby148 replied to SmashingKirby148's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
...OMG, you are right. I'm so dumb! xD I clicked off the other icons to delete debris, but I forgot to put it back! XD -
That looks very good! There's a mod that adds stock-alike station parts called Station Parts Expansion

Solar panels not working on Eve?
SmashingKirby148 replied to SirJodelstein's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
The thick atmopshere blocking panels thing is true, I think. I had the same thing happen, but I had slightly bigger panels, so I would slowly gain electricity. As I was transmitting, my electricity went down. When it reached 0, It started to build up again. Then, at a certain level of power, it got drained away from transmitting. The only reason I had the same thing happen on Duna is because Duna is further out. -
Thanks! (Well, I mean, I guess you are right, but "The Stupid One", although is very true, (XD) is just a bit, meh. I think if I change my location to something else, like "Where do you think?" Considering it says "The Irish One", that will make a bit more sense. I don't know. )
-
Hahaha! Thanks! When I was making the new one I was thinking to myself "My drawing style sure has come along way" XD

I decided to go back to an old drawing, and remake a positive outcome to it. Before: After:

Has anyone aerobraked around Jool in 1.0 yet?
SmashingKirby148 replied to SmashingKirby148's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Thanks everyone. I wanted to know that for my Laythe Mission. -
Has anyone aerobraked around Jool in 1.0 yet?
SmashingKirby148 replied to SmashingKirby148's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Oh, really? So where was your periapps afterwards? Around Laythe-ish distance? - - - Updated - - - Oh, ok -
I could imagine it would be hard, because from what I've seen, you have to aerobrake in Jools atmosphere for a very long time, so the heat shield would run out quicker. Would you need to stack multible heat shields just to aerobrake?

KSP Fan Art - "Sunset on Laythe"
SmashingKirby148 replied to SmashingKirby148's topic in KSP Fan Works
Thank you! XD - - - Updated - - - Thanks -
I am so happy with how this turned out. I made this from complete scratch using Photoshop Cs6 Extended.

I am glad to see your mod is going great. Thanks again for helping me with that mod one time. Now I am fully able to make planets and even textures myself! Although, I don't because it is giving me difficulties. I use KopernicusTech, but heard stand alone Kopernicus is better. How do I use it though?
