  1. I'm not sure why that's happening, unless you tried to open the trebuchet. All the others should be stock, and they shouldn't be old enough to be broken. What parts does it say it's missin? That may give me a clue as to what the problem is...
  2. Not to be rude or impatient, but it's been about a week since I posted a few craft of mine here, and I have yet to receive so much as an acknowledgement that the post was noticed.
  3. Cool! It bears a striking resemblance to the Type XXI U-boat. I almost feel like redesigning my own U-boat (the new one still in WIP) to make better use of five planes and less of trim tanks, but I'm so close to having it done, and I want to release it within this month.
  4. Well, I didn't really intend it as one, considering the fact that you don't usually make ships or boats... Of course, if you think you can make a better U-boat (with interior) than this you're certainly welcome to try.
  5. Should be all right then, although if you're still worried I would run it in an installation without any mods. Yes, I know @Felbourn, he makes great videos, but I'm afraid I don't se what he has to do with an aging replica of a German U-boat.
  6. You're right, that sure is a lot. I wonder if I can get it to 100 likes before the one year anniversary of release?
  7. Yeah, I think I have the craft file tucked into a corner of my hard drive, if I can find it I'll open it up and check it out this weekend. If I can't find it I'll have to redownload it from here when I get back home. Walking around inside is still possible as far as I know, in fact many of the pictures on the OP were taken with the boat in the water. Again though, the boat is getting old (it's one year anniversary is coming up!), and many things have changed regarding the water and the parts used in it, so I can't make any guarantees until I inspect it for myself.
  8. Shouldn't have a problem with an i5, but if you dont have very much RAM I would recommend the economy class boat instead. I have not dared to run this behemoth since 1.1 was released though, so maybe it will go a little smoother now.
  9. That's how bandwagons work. Anyway, I am still working on the Stargazer, and since I'll be visiting relatives who don't have Internet this weekend, I'll be limited to playing offline games, which should give me ample opportunity and motivation to finish work on the ship. Also, in case you didn't realize it, my new avatar and rank were chosen specifically for this bandwagon thread, once I finish my ship and have decided not to make another one I'm going to change it back to the good old Red Baron.
  10. Also, zeppelins on the Western Front. Need I say more?
  11. The same company that makes a WWI game where players can hipfire the heavy, water cooled MG-08/15...
  12. *rubs hands* Ooooh boy, let me tell you about KSP watercraft... Or rather, how about you take a look right here. It was built before the water overhaul, but people tell me it's a legend on the forums. I also have a reboot scheduled for release later this month.
  13. Well... At least it gives me the opportunity to join a Verdun match as either Poilus or Chaussers and say something along the lines of "so glad I bought the France DLC, worth every penny" Or, "I like how EA decided to include minor nations like France in the game. Even though America obviously won the war all by itself it's good to see the others get recognition"
  14. You complain about the ship's top speed, but I would like to point out that 25 m/s amounts to over 48 knots. The Yorktown class's actual top speed was significantly les, approximately 32 knots. Other than that it's a really cool ship!
  15. Thanks, I'm already brainstorming for ways to adapt this to the Stargazer! The warp nacelles shouldn't be too hard, as far as I can tell they're the exact same the Enterprise-A has anyway, so I can use the technique displayed here. The impulse engines may be a little tricky due to the pylons threatening to get in the way but I think I can find a workaround (it's what engineers do, after all). Is anyone else planning on using the Alcubierre Warp Drive to make their ships warp capable or is it just not practical for some reason or another? I've never used it before, so I don't know much about how it works.
  16. Judged for being over ten and still playing Minecraft? Please, some guy brought a pirated copy to school on a USB and copy/pasted it to all the computers, now all I really do in the mornings is dodge my real work and play Minecraft on LAN.
  17. Nope, sorry, just got your tag from a few posts ago and I'm delivering as best I can. @Red Iron Crown
  18. Whoa, hang on a second, there are more than that still around. U-505 in the US, U-995 (and U-534, but that's a special case) in Germany, and I'm pretty sure at least one Type XXI is on display over there as well. Going off how many are on display is pretty biased anyway, since a lot of the U-boats that survived the war were destroyed by the Allies one way or another. So even though only 3 are left, there were actually 48 that survived the war. Still a losing figure, but if your going to point out your success, at least don't exaggerate it. And don't worry, I have a fleet boat campaign going on right now as well (USS Gar, Pearl Harbor), although I don't know if Operation Monsum screwed it up or not. I sure hope not, because I haven't even reached June, 1942 and I've already sunk a battleship. On the film: Yes, we need more WW2 submarine movies in general. Fortunately, I hear Das Boot is getting a sequel in 2018.
  19. BDU- we have a popular movie all about us (Das Boot) and those super cool Elektroboote! It also doesn't take at least 30 seconds to crash-dive a U-boat...
  20. Prototype warp nacelles I really think they're too small, and I have no idea how I'm going to achieve the blue lighting on the sides (top/bottoms?) of the nacelles. Hell, I don't even think the method I used to build these things is very smart anyway, I may completely redo them. Just in case somebody hasn't noticed, the warp nacelles on the Constellation class appear to be the exact same as those on the USS Enterprise-A, except there are four here. I'm also still at a loss regarding how to light the impulse engines. @Azimech, would you be so kind as to share some of your wisdom for the good of all involved in the Bandwagon?
  21. Have there been other Cobras made and shared on the Internet?
  22. Wait, other people exist who play that game? I was beginning to suspect that I was the only one. I've recently added the Operation Monsun mod, which makes it even better, allowing full careers in both theaters of the war. I also play Total War, my favorite installment being Medieval II, Left 4 Dead 2, and I've recently picked up the Mount & Blade series, which is turning out to be a really good game (I can finally be a Viking, pillage, raid, burn monasteries...)
  23. Hey, I thought this thread was dead, good to see it back! Man, I haven't played War Thunder for over a month now, maybe it's time to get back into it. Although if they've had a major update since then I can expect to spend most of the next month waiting for it to install. EDIT: @Columbia I did get the Bf-109 F-4 and the 15mm gunpods for it, and I've got to say, it's a magnificent plane! Plenty of armament, astonishing climb rate and very good speed as well.
  24. Zaragoza I must confess, I only know of the existence of this city because of Medieval II: Total War.
