  1. Partially compatible essentially means that we have made a patchwork of fixes until the airship mod is moderately stable. the patch submitted earlier in the thread has a 0.90 version.

  5. The issue is that my KSP_OSX folder is only 2.5 GB in size, whereas it should be able to be in excess of 3GB before it crashes. KSP for Mac is terrible right now as far as stability goes, and I dearly hope that Squad fixes this for Release 1.0.
  6. This is intended as a poll to see how many OSX users suffer from instability/crashing after 2.2 GB of ram are used.
  7. I get the same 2.2 to 2.5 GB number. My KSP_OSX folder is only 2.6 GB in total anyway, so I can't see how the game can crash when It's supposed to be able to run at 3.5 to 4 GB without Issue. This is infuriating! Someone tell SQUAD! (I don't know how)

  10. Thanks, man! This has slowed my memory leaks by an enormous amount (I can now change scenes, like, 10 times before everything goes wrong)
  11. First of all, I have virtually no experience with coding so I don't know if this is possible. What I'm asking for is a mod that forcefully cleans the memory that KSP is using, to alleviate issues with RAM leaks. I know that there are apps that can do that for a whole computer, (FreeRamBooster on a mac for example) but I am unaware of a way to do this within an app. So essentially I'm asking for a big red button that will collect all of the memory that has leaked into no-man's-land and make it useable again. To be clear I don't want to reduce the initial RAM use of my KSP, merely reduce it incrementally while I am playing, to stop the RAM use from creeping up to that critical limit. Any help would be great.

  14. Player.log There you go. Yeah, I seem to have a very leaky boat here, as mine takes less than half an hour. It's becoming really annoying.

  16. Was there a cargo bay on the space plane? Often if the contents of the cargo bay clip into the cargo bay doors, Weïrd forces will start to affect the space station. It happened with my own, causing it to slowly change it's orbit inclination. open the cargo doors, or undock the spaceplane, and see if that helps.

Hi all, Problem: RAM usage creeps up malevolently and constantly Mods: (All up-to-date) Toolbar ATM Firespitter (Stripped down to just the electric engines) HL Airships KAS Hyperedit Mechjeb2 Modstatistics ModuleManager Nasamission Squad Romfarer docking camera/cameras Scansat Reproduction steps: Play for about half an hour, watch in horror as your game crashes. The log tells me that It is a ram crash, so I checked activity monitor, and although my ksp uses 1.8 to 1.9 GB of RAM when I start Playing, The usage just keeps increasing until the game reaches my critical 2.45GB limit of stability. Something isn't right. If its any help, my computer has 8GB of ram, and a 2.9GHz Intel i5 CPU (Turbo boost to 3.6GHz), and has 1GB of VRAM.
  19. So i was changing my ATM to aggressive, but i decided to see how the game runs without it, and lo and behold, Now KSP Uses LESS RAM. I'll see how it goes without it, but It's gone from using 2.44 GB (The point at which it crashed,) to 1.82GB. Strange. - - - Updated - - - Even moar interesting, is that the basic version, when reinstalled uses even less RAM than aggressive. What is going on? - - - Updated - - - Even MOAR interesting is that the RAM usage seems to keep rising with every scene change, until the game crashes... - - - Updated - - - Out of Curiosity, what is the RAM limit on Mac 32 bit ksp?
  20. Nothing has happened to my ram usage, and I still get crashes when the RAM used hits 2.44 GB of ram. Anyone?

Log: Player.log It happens every 1in5 scene changes, and is becoming unbearable. Any help would be great.
