  1. Is there an alpha download of this? If not, that's fine. Just couldn't find a link.
  2. Because the video is useful for people who aren't sure what KSP 0.22 is about, I'll leave it open for now. I only edited the title slightly so it doesn't mislead readers into thinking the version was released. As a reminder, no release dates have been posted.
  3. I enjoyed this movie. Amazing visual effects. The orbital mechanics were inaccurate but this is probably as close to real space movies we'll ever get. I wasn't a big fan of the astronauts back story, I just wanted to see some crazy EVA action scenes.
  4. Good news indeed. First mission I got to put my name on its disk!
  5. Ignorant move to close off the critical launch preparations. If MAVEN is delayed to 2016, the cost will be MUCH higher than if launch occurs as planned next month. Also: The CDC won't be able to support its annual seasonal influenza program that monitors the spread of the flu through U.S. states. Monitoring the spread of flu helps the agency direct vaccines to where they’re most needed. Amazing job, Congress.
  6. Last I remember reading about this, there would be a 1-year delay before the orbiting body felt anything different.
  7. I installed 0.65 but can't get it to work. Is it supposed to go in the "GameData" folder or merged to main folders? Where do I save the "Archive" folder and the text files?
  8. Another mod that should be stock. Those indicators are great.
  9. Looks cool, nice detail on the Soyuz. Good news though: Curiosity will be made by Lego http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/3431
  10. Just posting to say thanks to everyone who contributed. This is a simple change to the game but has made it that much nicer to look at. Keep up the great work.
  11. Yep, please jump in over here: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/49353-What-do-you-think-about-new-KSP-0-22-preview-viido
  12. Pretty much what Cipher29 said, can be found in most electronic gaming stores.
  13. This game reminds me of KSP 0.13. Very simple UI, limited parts, and the first landing is quite exciting because you can't really see the ground coming.
  14. Keep your Periapsis roughly the same, but burn towards a direction that would throw you out of Earth's orbit if there was no atmosphere. Basically, Apollo 13 probably made their Apoapsis much higher than what it used to be.
  15. Nice to see this again. So far the last few streams with devs have been great.
  16. Cool, you could actually film a rocket launch from the pad all the way to space like NASA usually does.
  17. Don't look directly at it or you'll get permanent eye damage. But yeah, nice to catch those every now and then. They're very impressive when watching the Jool moons eclipse the sun.
  18. Continuing progress on my space station.. So far, so good. About 33% done.
  19. This is just an idea for anyone interested: In Midtown Madness 2, there were big cities but they had a few buildings under construction with empty levels you could drive to using ramps. That would be cool to have in this city, not sure how feasible it would be in KSP.
  20. Will get around to trying an Eve ascent soon. I'll definitely be aiming for one of the tallest mountains
  21. Watching Apollo 13 as a kid inspired me to always keep an eye out for any space related games.
