Heinschmitt HF-108. Doesnt really fall into any contract though I guess. May be it was a pre-war fighter? https://kerbalx.com/erasmusguy/Heinschmitt-HF-108 for the craft file -

Looks amazing and is 100% guaranteed to kill up to three lucky Kerbals. Performance is worlds apart from other SSTO's. Fly up to 1000m using the ships conventional engines and then activate the ships patented RasTech self-destruction and Kraken drive unit. Will leave the kerbin system from launch. *Please note. Current version will not leave Eve's surface in one piece. In fact none of the pieces will leave. https://kerbalx.com/erasmusguy/Prototype-Kraken-Drive-SSTO for the craft file. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/243407076 to see the SSTO in action. -

Work in progress B-24J. Currently has a max speed of 55m/s using 4 electric motors. The front and rear turrets are working. Working with Xenome to get her finished. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/242627685 to see landing. -
Thank you. I did one with the grey fairing bit hidden but it has an annoying jagged edge.

Updated version I made for FAR. https://kerbalx.com/erasmusguy/FAR-j29f for the craft file should anyone want it.

Don't think this has been done before so I've posted it here. Might be useful. A quick turboprop inspired by the krakentech engine the streamer Million_lights was working on. Im on holiday so I'm not going to work on this one for a while. https://kerbalx.com/erasmusguy/a-quick-kraken-powered-turbo-prop for the craft file to show the idea. The landing gear is slightly compressed by the structural wall and this spins the shaft. -

A prototype for an Antonov An-2. Early days but it flies nicely. Top speed is around 59m/s in vanila atmosphere. https://kerbalx.com/erasmusguy/Bi-plane-prototype for the craft file but I'm going to keep working on it. -

It works well and is as reliable. It's a bit more limited than the normal bearing's as it's larger and it doesn't out perform an all rcs thruster bearing. -

Ive used ball bearings before but never with as much success as these. I tried using z-200 batteries previously and they "sort of" worked but not reliably so. -

Ball bearing engine. The central shaft is only held in place by the ball bearings that surround it. https://kerbalx.com/erasmusguy/Ball-bearing-small-engine but its early days. -
The tunnan. https://kerbalx.com/erasmusguy/Kaab-J28F The Saab 29, called Flygande Tunnan (English The Flying Barrel) was a Swedish fighter designed and manufactured by Saab in the 1940’s. It was Sweden’s second turbojet-powered combat aircraft, the first being the Saab 21R; additonally, it was the first Western European fighter to be produced with swept wing after the war, the Me-262 being the first during WWII.Despite its rotund appearance, from which its name derives, the Saab 29 was a fast and agile aircraft for its era. It served effectively in both fighter and fighter-bomber roles into the 1970’s

Has anyone tried making a chain out of this? Could be useful for a bike or a fan belt?
