One problem: Your lander will explode when you unhack gravity. I love the safety mechanism on the ISRU idea. If it was shorter, it would be less useful for every craft.

Just what I was thinking when I saw it! Although two drills support a 2.5 ISRU, so maybe one will support a 1.25 one.
