  1. I'm no expert but the first thing I notice is that you don't have BoulderCo as one of your mod folders. If you're running a standard EVE 7-4 then you should have am EVE folder & a BoulderCo folder. EVE contains all the .DLL files while BoulderCo contains the CFG files and textures; one will not work without the other.
  2. Firstly, Proot, you sir are a bad man Onto bus i ness.. Not sure if this helps or hinders but I was messing around with my son today, I walk away from the computer and my KSP looks like this. All kinds of pretty. He takes a screenshot of launch to show me. All looks good. Then whilst making a cuppa tea he does something and takes a screeny for me. Clouds? I have no idea what he did, neither does he. I know that they are not perfect but I have never had clouds with Scatterer before.
  3. SQUEEEEE!! I shall inform the wife that I require bacon, beer and peace. More bacon and beer to be fair.
  4. Does this mean I have yet more things to make my KSP look pretty? Oh good In all seriousness. My Bray, it's nice to see you back and may I say that you need to make sure that you stick to the limits you place upon yourself, this is after all, just a game. I would also like to say at this juncture that I am new to these forums, as in posting/having an account etc, but have been playing KSP since 0.12 or something, a far time anyways. My comments carry no weight, this I understand, but may I state as my point of view, that you and your compatriots (see below) are the reason, the only reason, that I continue to play and that I encourage my kids to play. KSP without the likes of: RBray NathanKell PingoPete Proot and many, many others; would simply be another failed 'indie' game that never got developed right. You guys, to my mind have made this game a) playable enjoyable c) viable. This is not pressure, this is praise. I work hard, doing a 'job' that is horrible with little to no thanks and a stress level that would make Superman cry and this is all put aside when I sit and play YOUR KSP. I sit and look at the visuals YOU GUYS created, flying rockets and planes created by numerous modders, having fun with my kids, playing a game that a company get praise and plaudits for, but is made what it is my you and the rest of the modding community. From the very bottom of my heart, I thank you and all your modding compatriots for putting in the time & effort that the rest of us benefit from. Much love and appreciation Ork
  5. I love these mods. I play at high res (not max) with around 55 mods plus EVE and still smile at launch. Standard settings. Lots of clouds; I like clouds Combined with some nice textures and OMG! Just after launch. Lovely textures (from RSS mod, thnx Pingopete etc), cities and yes... purple oceans. Really thickly stacked clouds give a sense of the dramatic during ascent. Pretty at night too. How can anyone not fall in love with the look of this game? I run on a 5 year old PC. Windows 7, integrated graphics, 4gig RAM. Not far off max graphics with near on 60 mods. For me, this is only possible because of a little program called ReShade+SweetFX. I don't know how it does it, I think it uses magic or unicorns or something, either way it now allows me to run KSP the way I've always wanted to; and it's glorious!
  6. Not totally true, I run RVE and EVE on a standard KSP build. Kerbin looks awesome with all the ground textures etc. I would recommend a little program called ReShade/SweetFX though. Helps I think. I've tried running Scatterer with RVE and thus far they don't seem to like playing in the same sand pit. On either a standard KSP (Kerbin) build or on a RSS build. That may just be my complete ineptitude though.
  7. Crakin' Just come across a 64k clound texture to play with on Celestia. Same site also had a really nice hi res Vegas that I'm playing about with to
  8. Oooooh sweet! If it frees up you time to use elsewhere then throw it at me, I'll have a play, keeps me sane and stops me embarrassing the kids by gate crashing their online games
  9. Hi Pete, glad you had a great holiday Glad you liked what I've done thus far, I'm still playing with the textures and have redone them a little to make the tiling look a little better. I'll put some piccy's up for you to look over when I feel that they are worth looking at. Once done, if you like them you are more than welcome to use whatever you like, I after all, have just played with what you've given me Other than a minor issue with the low cloud (which really is nothing) this is more than playable, to be honest I don't get what people have been complaining about.
  10. nabaal.nets' license expired today which means that Ckan and even just a weblink will kick you from the page as it's no longer 'trusted'. You can still get the textures though if you follow the link in the OP and then ignore your browser security telling you to leave. It doesn't actually take you to a web page btw it just gives you the file to download. I take no responsibility for anything untoward happening though, be it on your own head.
  11. Hi Hab136, Thank you for your response. I've given this a go and I have to say it's not bad at all, gave me a good chuckle. Even though it appears some bits do not work well 0.90. It is not however totally to my liking so I may have to see if I can mess around a bit. What I really want is to lay it out in a very similar fashion to the quick pic I posted, but without the people and with more MFD's. So a cross between PCR and my piccy. An example would be that rather than having all those chunky buttons taking up valuable space, the screens could be changed via right click menus or something similar. Leaving more room for screens and less clutter.
  12. Hello all. Please excuse my ineptness, I'm not great with forums. I had an idea the other night and thought I'd run it by you all. This is, I suppose, for those who like a little realism to their KSP but potentially for any other player in general. A mission control center that is just that, mission control. Somewhere you can run you missions from in a more detached manner as opposed to the very omnipresent way in which the game is currently structured to play. I should state at this juncture that I have absolutely no skill in programing what so ever! I am a drawer, artist, thinker. I have about as much programing knowledge as a dead non-programmy thing that can't program. This is a quick conceptual idea of how the mod may look. Each screen could/would be interchangeable with the main screen (the one in the middle). The screens themselves would be customizable dependent on what the user wanted. The Kerbal flag (with the light on) would be replaced with whichever flag was used by the user and the flags up top are for nothing more than place filling and aesthetics. The idea is that the game is played from this center instead of using the 3rd person 'god cam' to give a more authentic feel to the whole shebang. This would kick in one the user went to the launch pad. Anyone with any ideas on how this would/could be done? Could it be done? Does anyone want it to be done? Why are women drawn to shoes? Why do men refuse to hug? Why am I asking these questions? Why am I still up at 02:30? Why is all the rum gone? All this and more, for no apparent reason.... Thank you for your time guys 'n' girls.
  13. Noticed that the night textures for the city don't match the daytime texture. So I had a play and ended up with this However... they didn't match either. So finally re textured the whole damn thing and ended up with this. These match the daytime texture, exactly. Not sure about the colouring even though it's taken from hi level imagery so is 'technically' accurate, though not necessarily in the correct positions. Oh, my first ever post btw, sorry for the large pictures. Here's hoping that this and other awesome mods go from strength to strength.
