    It would be funny if the Area 51 plan succeeds perfectly only for everyone to find out that everything they thought they would find (aliens, time machines, chemtrail fuel, krabby patty secret formula, etc) was hidden somewhere else.

    In the scenario @Spaceception and I are working on, it's neither of those. Centuries ago, the colonisation fleet (which was exiled from it's home solar system due to a system-wide interplanetary war) began to set sail towards Earth because it was the only planet within a hundred ly or so that was fully habitable for them, no terraforming required. When they got closer they started to pick up radio transmissions and they started to detect industrially-produced gasses i the planet's atmosphere. This made Earth even more of a target since all that infrastructure (power plants, mines, factories, logistics hubs, airports, etc etc) could be taken over and used by the fleet's species instead. Needless to say, things don't go as planned in the novel, but the concept remains the same.

    I know this is off-topic, but, I have an urgent announcement! In the war against T-Series, which is a major front in the war in Youtube between individuals/independent content creators and soulless power-hungry corporations, Pewdiepie needs our help! If we don't do everything we can, in less than two hours he'll be overtaken, and it'll be the beginning of the end of the Youtube we all know and love! If anyone is reading this, spread the word! This is a fight we can't afford to lose!

      This list is over 2 years old?! Once I get KSP running on my new laptop I'll need to update this. Funnily enough, the game has barely changed at all in this time, so I'm guessing the new list won't be very different.

    So, this actually happened yesterday but I didn't get a chance to say it, I flew my first 100% successful fusion-powered flight into orbit. All my previous attempts had failed for one or more of the following reasons: Not having enough charge for the engine to start, and falling back into the atmosphere Not having enough power to recharge the engine fast enough after I accidentally shut it down, and falling back into the atmosphere Having a TWR too low to circularise the orbit before falling back into the atmosphere Engine randomly exploding before circularisation is complete, and falling back into the atmosphere So now I'm in a circular orbit with 60km/s of Dv, a bit over 1 year and 300 days of life support, two kerbals and no idea where to go next.
