I just found out about this. This is bad. It really looks like KSP is dying. At least we get 1.2. I don't think Roverdude can make 1.3 mostly by himself. Also, so much for the rocket parts overhaul. It was looking pretty good... I hope they find those "talented developers".

Didn't they add planets in 0.17? My demoversary is 1.8.3 and my versionversary is 1.2.1 (from 0.21). However, I switched FROM steam to the KSP store when it wouldn't update to .24 or .25 (can't figure out which one by the date because I have since used it for the 1.1 prerelease), so in that case it is not until 1.2.4 or 1.2.5. Anyone from 0.11.3 who gets to celebrate their semi-versionversary?

Gaah... too many colors! I don't have enough time to update the OP and I probably won't for the next two weeks. It's a shame because there is just so much updating to do! @Just Jim, I see why you wanted a red one now!

@ProtoJeb21, I have updated the OP! It certainly needed a lot of updating... @Just Jim, I added yours to the OP as well. Also, decided to finally read through Emiko Station, it took a while but it was worth it, I like it! I guess that makes you "first to use new magic boulder in KSP fanfic", may as well add that to the OP as well. I also made the pictures a bit bigger.

Uhm, since it is postponed indefinitely, I don't know if there will be one. There was going to be one, though. I never figured out how that scene would work, so I don't know how important it would be in the plot. It would either just be next to the station the whole time, or be reused somewhat The Martian-style. The important station action would involve a Laythe spaceplane, most likely. I made a thread (there's nothing there, I edited out the content after it was kind of abandoned) with a badly made "teaser" for it, but I have since renamed it and planned it out a bit more, and now it looks like it will never actually be released.

Unfortunately, no, unlike the original one, it blew up your ship when you touched them.... Squad could have easily made them have a really high temperature, come on! IT'S NOT MAGIC ENOUGH WITHOUT EXPLOSIONS! They do glow, however.

Sadly, yes... They seem to be smaller asteroids. I don't think there are very large ones. Actually, I listed these as "Blue"... I guess "Cyan" is more correct. I'll add this to the list.

just... apart. Really, just eyeball it. Use the graphical thingy on Hyperedit, and then tweak the numbers.

I just set them all to a 100 Kilometer orbit around Kerbin (100000m, obviously). I'm kind of confused what you're asking...

Yup. This is what I did to find them: it turned out to be unnecessary, because I used the rendezvous tool to... hop around. Darn! That's quicker, isn't it?

Oh, and your purchase of KSP will be deleted if you don't find anything in the next 5 minutes. No pressure.

So now that the magic boulder is technically back, it's time to do some SCIENCE! Basically, post your brand new Magic Boulder encounters here, and maybe we can answer some important questions... (or use my method, track a bunch of asteroids and use hyperedit to teleport to them, one by one...) What colors do they come in? What is the chance of an asteroid being a magic boulder? How often do they spawn? What other questions could we ask here? Look at me still talking when there's SCIENCE to do... let's, um, do SCIENCE, I guess...
