  1. I agree 100% and so you know, the last thing I modded anything for was Farming Sim '13 and that gave me a migraine. I'm not sure how a crate system would work, but with mods like KIS & KAS something could be done by someone with the skill to make it happen. The only issue I'm not sure can be worked out is how to crate the thing Do you number crates so crate #1 has to be added first? Would the main KSP code even allow for something to show up as partially completed? I dunno. It was just an idea I was shooting out there.
  2. Excellent choice! as for the one piece model, I'm all for it, cutting down on the parts count. I saw no other use for a shuttle upper cone besides, well attaching it to the shuttle lower half what parts would you need to have right click options for? Lights on/off and bay doors open/close would be all one would need on a shuttle, am I wrong? I guess you could have 2 separate folders being they're split anyway giving people the option for pieces or completed. Unless of course the code get complicated for whichever the user installs. I'll leave that to the more knowledgeable folks Edit: if you really want me to get crazy with the suggestions... If you made it compatible with RPM and clear windows like the Tesla recon rover in the BobCat Ind. mod, I wouldn't care if the damn thing was all pink
  3. my reaction to all Pewdiepie videos actually. I try to avoid them at all costs unless he's the only one with an English video of a game I'd like a preview of. and even then, I mute the audio
  4. it has one setting, not an option for the second, it's modeled as one unit but the description states it has 2 cameras. It isn't clear that it does in fact have 2 cameras but not simultaneously @MeCripp... my first request please thankyouverymuch

I contacted each of you via PM informing the other of the work being done on this mod. as I said on his shuttle thread... it makes no sense for 2 talented people working separately on the same mod. We're a gaming/modding community. Communities work together for a common cause. He has mentioned some points that confuse me regarding Unity implementation and if you'd be willing to take on that challenge. (huh?...whaaa?) So again, instead of having two talented people either working on the same project separately or worse.... giving up because the other is doing it would be a nightmare to the community His model of the shuttle looks like the one in this mod but he seems to be focusing on that making it better, faster, stronger maybe you guys can do something like, idunno, u work on the boosters/tanks he does the shuttle and then you both tweak each others? (adding the Canadarm for instance) I'm retired now, but I ran 2 companies once upon a time. Last thing you wanna do is alienate creative/talented thinkers TEAMWORK DAMMIT! ....backs away from the podium
  6. If you look back a few pages on this thread, you'll see Sophia just recently (a week ago?) implemented the Spacedocks in this mod at the request of users. It wasn't originally her/his mod but in fact breathed (<- is that a word?) new life into it. I don't believe the original mod model of the spacedock had folding capabilities and not knowing anything about modding myself, that would seem like a nightmare to me to even get that to work. I have them installed, being one who requested them and plan on building a huge launcher much later in game to get them into orbit. Building them from crates once out there would seem more realistic... but how many of us would want to actually build one? What would the large dock take? 60 crates?
  7. I'm far from an expert on mods being new myself, but I do believe that would be a feature of the individual mod/pod you'd use. RPM is a mod for monitors, not interior lighting

  9. how is that a limitation of RPM if the cameras on the Booster have to be switched manually?
  10. I'm using the Booster cam with Raster Prop Monitor and can't seem to get RPM to pick up the 2nd camera. I set the Booster unit to ID #1 but there's no option for the 2nd camera. I get "No Signal" from the 2nd camera any help would be appreciated Edit: ok I just watched a YT video on the Booster cam and I see now each cam has to be activated individually and both can't be activated at once. So here's my request... can we get it integrated with RPM and have separate ID #'s?
  11. I was just informing you that my request to have the CCTV work the way I asked you about isn't possible anyway. (Longer range) It had nothing to do with your knowledge of it. Apparently SQUAD has ranges limited in the original code.
  12. That's originally why I asked. The guy is working day and night on it posting updates all day long for us to test and give feedback on. Makes no sense to me to have 2 talented people working on the same project separately.
  13. ok someone else confirmed the limited range is built into the code. Thanks for responding. Just one more question and I'll stop harassing you (for now): If you move out of range of a camera then return back to within range, does the signal get picked up again?
  14. I'm sure you're right. Maybe I just kept clicking the same "toggle" button (I'm old and my eyes are shot) also...FYI 2 people responded to my request to have the CCTV have longer range. Seems the limited range of these signals is embedded in the games code which explains why Remote Tech utilizes the relay system
  15. Thanks so much! also, when you right click the front bay doors to close them, you clearly see the option to do so. Any idea when you use Action Groups what the command is? There seems to be 2 "toggle" options but neither are for the bay doors.
  16. Is there a way to increase the range? and if so, would that cancel the need for the 2 to be docked initially? I was hoping to launch satellites and have the ship already in orbit pick up the signal Sorry for the misinformation about the update, CKAN alerted me it was updated.

  20. So if you have more than one camera, each one needs it's own ID # in order for you to cycle thru them? also, I have a request. If the person working on a mod I'm using can't accomplish this goal, you think you could get it done?
  21. Another mod I'm following will be my late game shuttle. This mod has now become my late-er game interstellar ship. I have a bit of a wish list... How hard would it be to make this happen? The TV screen you see on the side is from the Kerbal CCTV mod and I was hoping to install cameras on almost every ship and satellite I launch and monitor them from my IXS cargo bay. Is it possible to make those 2 non-functioning screens in that bay do that? and a minor request.. can the interior lights be toggled? I'm trying to use Smart Parts & Action Groups Extended to make it when someone goes on an EVA, the doors open, the interior lights come on and the blue LEDs on the floor blink intermittently My imagination far exceeds my capabilities, so please tell me if this is way too much work to get done.
  22. First, thanks so much for updating this I've been following this since I saw this video on it. Now excuse my ignorance, but what's the difference between the regular camera and the wifi? I'm using this IFX Command Module to build a mother ship. I want to stick screens in the front bay area and monitor other ships and satellites in my fleet. What camera do i use for this?
