  1. anyplace to follow updates for this or is just commenting here the best way?
  2. before I knew CKAN needed to be manually updated (thanks again, zengei) I installed a mod using CKAN. It then updated and CKAN didn't detect the update so I manually installed it. CKAN now recognizes the latest version, but because I added it manually, it says AD in the installed column and autodetected dll in the Installed version column If I remove the mod and try running CKAN again I get an exemption error. It won't load until I put the mod back in the Game Data folder. What do I do now?
  3. There are no stupid questions here. Take it from me, I've asked some doozies in the past few days and everyone here seems so helpful. I'm nowhere near a modder, but it would seem that most of these mods "break" after an update. Your best bet, as suggested to me by someone, is to use CKAN and load your mods that way. It's like the mod loader I've used for games like Fallout and Skyrim and will install the mods in the correct place for you and also inform you of updates when available (using the Filter) Also "following" mods will get you email notifications when the mod is updated

I'll grab the whole package once you update it and delete what I don't use as you suggested to KillAshley. and if I may ask a rather noobish question... I already have Firespitter core installed as required by another mod. That's all I'd need for the doors to work on the Command Module, correct? oh, and +1 rep for being so damn nice

  6. very cool mod! curious... when you say it lists all science recovered even on vehicles not turned in yet, does it list what vehicle and/or it's location? I've got stuff spread out all over is why I ask

  11. Not sure what I have to do to get updates for mods. I made a list of the mods I wanted before using CKAN and this one mod I know has been updated to 1.1.3 but CKAN is telling me the latest is 1.1.2 I tried "Refresh" & "Mark all updated" but it still says 1.1.2 is the most recent Will this screw the game up if I added the mod myself and not through CKAN?

  14. I'm certain that you did a wonderful job simplifying this for most here, but for those of us that your response causes migraines, is there a mod that allows you to enter a destination and calculate it for you using the ship you've built? (yes, I'm a total n00b at this in case your wondering)
  15. Hello fellow Kerbanauts... iDisOrder! I've been playing KSP for a while now and decided to finally try out some mods. I know, what took me so long, right? Well, most of the stuff in KSP intimidates the heck outta me so I was trying to get a feel of the vanilla game before attempting to mod it. Also, I try watching as many videos as I can on mods that interest me before I decide if I want to use it. I've finally decided to jump in and grab some of these wonderful mods to help enhance my game play. I apologize in advance if I ask any silly questions here on the forums, but I'm old and my mind can't grasp to much of this at once. Thanks to all the people smarter than myself who made such wonderful mods!!!
