Something I'll admit I overlooked! My mindset was on the gaming community and I did not consider the possibility of game developers stealing mods from their creators. Very good point. I move to close this thread and cancel all further voting. My respect to all modders!

This is why I love this community....such dedication! I see the first few responses are from actual mod creators and I love it! I notice too the "join dates" of those who responded and it proves the dedication. but what about those mod creators who, like me, have gamer A.D.D. and bounce from game to game forgetting what they've created and leave behind the community they created these mods for? If you made something compatible for something 3+ versions ago, your creation has died. As mod creators, wouldn't you want a creation you made live on?

On a mod thread here on the forums, I was able to contact a mod author/creator and ask what their intentions were about updating a mod after seeing this person has been inactive since September 2014. Several others were posting on this thread wanting an update. (which is not uncommon on mod threads, I know) I think one of the requirements here on the forums should be that if you're going to "abandon" a mod, the mod author should be required to: * leave a contact email (public or private accessible to moderators only) * or, at the very least have a license expire after "x" amount of forum inactivity. I know I've gone through some of these wonderful mods I'd like to have, only to see the last version being compatible with 0.23 and due to it's licensing, be untouchable with some of the intelligent folks here on the forum scrambling to make "patches" that don't violate the mods license I respect trademarks and licensing, (having owned businesses once upon a time) but mod licensing should have a shelf life and then return to the public domain They were, after all, created to be shared....AmIRight??? What say you?

I was watching a YT vid on a mod that adds the planets back to KSP that a dev originally designed for the game. (and were later removed or never added???) I can't remember what the mod was called. Can someone help? and is it updated for 1.0.2?

added this to my "must have" mod list. thanks for making this! EDIT: Can I get a lil help on the installation process? I installed the Basic Part: ASET ALCOR_Capsule_0.9.2.3 in the GameData folder. I have all the other add-ons, MechJeb SCANsat, etc., so now do I need to also install: Advanced IVA: ASET ALCOR_IVA_Patch_0.9.2.3+External Camera ASET Props Pack v1.1.0 What are these individual files for? Like does ASET ALCOR_IVA prevent external view and what does ASET Props Pack v1.1.0 add?

thanks, I was just going to ask you for it. I went back from here to page 36 and didn't see it. good possibility I missed it with these eyes - - - Updated - - - I just looked at the videos on page 1, nice addition! ok, I'm not really educated on the licensing of mods on this forum but a line on the first page confuses me... "Please note I am not the original developer." Don't you think this mod is so far past the original design that it has become it's own entity? Isn't it like AMG who changes a Mercedes so much they get to add their own tag to the car? -
well I suspect it's because he's also working on a different, killer, amazing mod that I'm really not a liberty to reveal at this time on account of it's a secret posting here to follow

Ya know, this is quickly becoming one of my favorite KSP mods... and I don't even have it installed. Great work Jeast! Question, is this ISS mentioned on this thread going to be included in this mod or stand alone? I'm not sure which one you guys are talking about, can't seem to find it here on the forums is why I ask -

have you seen Jovzin's animation for fuel doors? actually, all his animations for that matter -
So I'm just one opinion here and I've read back a few pages, just about the start of the ground station idea I think.. and I'd like to say that I originally downloaded this mod as opposed to RemoteTech because this one seems a bit less complicated to me. (I liked the pretty lines showing me the antenna ranges) When you guys start typing about newtons, parsecs and your funny little hieroglyphic math symbols... I get migraines I don't mean to be the old fart on the thread, but can we keep this one simple for us dummies? or...if you're going to complicate it, at least keep the pretty idiot lines?

Love that it's functional, but I have a request. Can we keep the monitors closer? Eliminate the spaces between them like it was... for easier viewing and can we put the filler graphics back in instead of the plain, gray, flat surface Like this: brother..... I've been waitin' a helluva long time to fly this masterpiece. I refuse to test it until it's completed coz I'm stubborn like that. You back out on me now and I'll wring your balls for ya! I'll stalk you on every thread... on every forum until you finish this!
