I need rails, switches, and powered rails. Please deliver them with a chest to the junction bridge if you're giving. About half way done. At the end of the line we will need a cart storage and call system. If you're going to build that, please make it all underground so the line can be extended if need be.. I put a marker past the terminal station to where it should be. Also if you dont want to craft rails, iron ingots or ore are also accepted! - Andy -

I have made significant progress on the "eastern desert" branch of the desert line. The part going straight east to the far, far, far desert is on hold till this branch south to the "east desert" is complete. I have constructed a fort at the desert for protection from bad guys at night, please do not mess with it, thanks! ^-^ - Andy -

Will do! On a side note, it seems like creepers are everywhere anymore. How about a bit more lighting in built areas and maybe 20 blocks back? That way we can at least have a moment to bust out the weapon needed to prevent them from exploding. Skellies are more frequent too, zombies now seem to spawn in groups of 2-3 but overall zombies seem to be down. - Andy -

There is a huge massive cave and mine which i discovered. It literally does not end as far as ive seen and ive been exploring for about a day. The mine is the biggest one i have ever seen, and there are lots of track. I can mine all the ore out of both parts, and get the wood & track from the mine and share with the group. All i need are proper pickaxes, torches, and food. Chests might be a good idea too. I can also collect lava in buckets if anyone wants to have lava buckets... would save me a lot of time too and make mining easier with fewer patches of lava to work around. Let me know! - Andy -

You should have seen the mess. The minecart dispenser was so out of order that it had a cart sitting off track down near the bottom, and rogue carts kept triggering more to be released. I tried my best to fix it, but it seemed hopeless so i left it be. Someone else must have captured all the carts and sent them on their way or something. - Andy -

Let's focus on what we can do to help each other and improve things vs finger point and more nonsense, eh? The server has been whitelisted, which should solve a bunch of these issues. If you have an issue with someone, direct message them, not bring it in here to muck up the thread ad draw us all into it. Just a thought. - Andy -

Well, i accidentally messed up the instruction signs at paradise station because a creeper was after me. Sorry about that. Fixed it as best i could, the wall needs re-doing too. Figured better to go through something i know is just stone vs the creeper ruining all the redstone work down below there. There needs to be more light down below where all the redstone and track is. Already got chased by a zombie twice and then the creeper. One of the spots the zombies spawned i blocked off entirely. The caves that connect under there should probably be blocked off then connected underneath the station basement in a separate "safe" area away from the redstone works. - Andy -

If you look at this image, it will show you the issue. It is between the skelly pit and the station, as well as being a sheer face when being chased by multiple things. There is water too, which is basically a death trap at night. That abrupt hill on the middle left of the image is where i was proposing to put the keep, with the flat area being the walled city, sorta like king's landing in game of thrones. i will put off my other work in the game to help you relocate.... build you a harbor with boats, even help you build the individual parts like shops and whatnot. The keep could be up on the hill overlooking the plain by the river, and maybe a lil tunnel to that island with maybe a beach & small fort? Please? It will be amazing and fit even better once i get to a project i had in mind..... - Andy -

Will check it out when its back up. Like, doors that keep tunnel segments closed at each end so i don't have to build bridges like they are a tube? That would be incredible. The main reason i built the non-tunnel areas like a tube is to keep bad guys out AND to keep skelly arrows away. If we can seal the tunnel openings when there's no one around, we can keep the bridges 3 blocks wide with a simple one block high wall so you can see the sights. You could also put a button so non-minecart rider players can get through. So many possibilities! - Andy -

Yes, good idea! Building huge crazy things is kind of my forte, not only in minecraft, but also in ksp. I will build a 3x3 right of way to anywhere worthwhile. There is a roofed forest somewhere to one side of the direct line east to that desert. Putting a spur there with tree farm accoutrements might be the next next thing. As an aside, no fire stuff will be allowed in use in the roofed forest area designated as part of the tree farm. The whole canopy is interlinked, so you can inadvertently burn down the whole thing. The tree trunks are 2x2, but not super tall, and you can use the canopy as a floor. Should be fun. First gotta get the server up and working with all the proper files and whatnot. - Andy -

Well, of course. The line will be the longest rail line till we build one to a large cold biome for snow harvesting - Andy -

I'll make my own statue to celebrate the eastern extension of the dual desert railway reaching the desert to the far east. Once that is unveiled, i will then focus my creative energies on the SouthLink Eastern Desert line. - Andy -

It blocks off an entire hill in the middle of everything. How it is plotted also means you can get trapped by skellies and witches very easily, an only option to escape is falling a long way. There is another hill down near the site i proposed which could be flattened out to provide that "mott and bailey" effect. Also, river ports are extremely common in the real world. The nearest big city to me, philadelphia, is a perfect example. Might be cool to have some boating traffic...... - Andy -

Um... i need to say something about that "castle". It's really awesome that you seemingly have brought the "walled city" concept to our humble shared gaming experience here. That said, the walls being where they are constitute a very large and pain-in-the-butt obstacle for players traversing the area adjacent to the skelly pit attempting to get back to the station or from there up toward the street grid. If you want, i can help you build a similar and equally awesome city wall style structure on the flat area down to the left in that image near the water. This could open an opportunity for a harbor, if you care to have such! I can also build you an elevated rail line link that connects to the enclosed rail line bridge above that area. What say you? - Andy -

I see my enclosed rail line! Whew! That was a LOT of work. Just a quick ponder.... the scenic line to the "east desert".... it will only be single track? Also... yes, i plan on building the line going straight east, may as well finish what i started. It isn't too crazy past where the current construction zone ends, mostly grasslands/plains & some water (which should be super interesting!) - Andy -

I was more of a "ranger" i never had any chests, everything was in inventory. What i needed i mined for and crafted and whatnot, no extra anything. I had a lot of arrows because i was far away from anything, and the torches were for mining. Hoping this all makes sense now! - Andy -

I had a shield, enchanted iron armor, two enchanted diamond swords, one with flame aspect & unbreakable 2 & knockback 2, one with unbreakable and knockback 1 that i named "swift death". Paired with swift death was "strike", a bow with unbreaking and flame aspect. I also had 10 enchanted iron picks with unbreakable 2 and efficiency 2. I had 6 diamonds, a gold ingot, 64 and 28 of coal ore, 42 iron ore, A ton of arrows and torches (probably 3 stacks of 64 per?) and 7 pieces of lapus lazuli. I may have had 5 gold ore, but i do not remember if i made that into my old gold armor (before the iron armor) I also had 7 iron ingot. I was running low on food, but it was cooked mutton, like 12 pieces. On top of that i had a 64 of cobblestone, and a diamond pick that had maybe 10 more uses to it. Only reason i even remember this is because i went into my inventory to get torches, which i was quickly using. - Andy Edit: the bow had power IV. I have had the same one (strike) for a while, i just keep repairing it. - Andy -

Way too much stuff has been undone to even bother doing anything if it can be restored, it would be a good idea to see if you can't just move the data over from that second server onto the one you re-instated. I don't know the file structure of minecraft, but whatever the key files are that hold all the info on the state of the map and resources and invintory is what we need updated. I have spent literally the better part of 3 days on not just that rail line but gathering things like iron and redstone and coal and etc. - Andy -
