  1. Update: fixed the first two areas. On to the others. The rest i will shore up from the outside only, so no sealing off needed. Tunnel is clear and operational! - Andy
  2. Just a heads up, i am shoring up the tunnel where it passes underwater right now. The sides are sand and the top is dirt mixed with coblestone in the second of the two sections. Will replace all with stone of some sort. I sealed the sections off that need work, so make sure you don't try to go in there before i'm done or it will flood the whole thing. - Andy
  3. I guess i'll have to start seriously focusing on some iron ore mining. Keep finding coal all over the place too, which i will gladly also set aside for the iron making. - Andy
  4. I am fully confused. on the whole paradise city thing. In any case, a sample of my madness: http://imgur.com/a/Yut6f - Andy Well, i'm not installing any mods, so you'd have to count me out if that ever does happen. - Andy
  5. The stuff i build in minecraft would make my KSP abominations pale in comparison - Andy
  6. Have same issue, windows 7 64 bit. No errorsm it just stays there on the progress bar. - Andy
  7. So "spaceplanes are hard". That said... built several things that can fly around kerbin with no input from me, and have created planes that can reach sub-orbit. Also created probes, landers, etc for space travel. All you have to do is use the center of mass/lift/thrust markers in the SPH and you should be good. Start simple, and by simple i don't mean the smallest thing you can build. Smaller things are actually harder to fly than bigger things! Good luck & fly safe! - Andy
  8. You can put any booster you want on there, but i provided one that can get it out of kerbin SoI. Check the fairing release settings. If it's only 2 parts it may bump the satellite. https://kerbalx.com/transitbiker/kerbnik-4a More to come soon from the kerbnik (unmanned) and kermnik (manned) family of spacecraft! Enjoy! - Andy
  9. I used the launcher on windows 7 64 bit, seemed to stop the bundle definition issue. Loading the app directly has it pause loading right at that point mid-progress bar. Just my experience on it. Not sure about the mac version, that may be another issue entirely. - Andy
  10. Who is the lead moderator for this sub-forum? I need to talk with you, please, thank you. ^-^ - Andy
  11. I too am wondering about the 64 bit exe issue & when it will be rectified. Otherwise it seems great! ^-^ Bwoop. - Andy
  12. I am interested to see what this release has to offer. Bwoop. - Andy
  13. I just got up from a nap and opened hexchat and could not connect there or on the web based kiwi irc server. Anyone know what's going on? Sorry if this is a duplicate thread, i did not see anything related in the search results on the topic. One of the errors reads "you need to be identified with services". No clue what that means. - Andy
  14. test test test blah blah blah - Andy
  15. Too much space between things makes it hard for me to get a feel for what's going on/navigation/comments vs sigs vs quotes. Everything is double spaced by default? - Andy
  16. This probe built in 1.0.4 is manned so you can fix stuff and do science till the cows come home. It has enough delta v to reach anywhere in the kerbol system. Just be gentle in the lower atmosphere on the throttle, as the probe in the fairing is about as light as a brick skyscraper. Once you get above 30,000 meters feel free to go full throttle, just watch for deflection of the fairing. Kerbin escape is possible before exit of atmosphere. Docking port means you could in theory dock two of these together or some such doings and send each to a different target with the trusty low thrusty ion engines (9 total). A word of warning: do not attempt to turn this ship in the lower half of the atmosphere, the fairing will break off as the probe is very tall and heavy. I tried lowering the center of mass on the probe toward its aft end mounting point to the rest of the rocket, but it's still huge and heavy and can break apart inside the fairing if you're too rough with the throttle or steering on ascent. http://kerbalx.com/transitbiker/mongoose-1 http://imgur.com/a/2gjqU Enjoy! - Andy
  17. There ye go. I'll get some more up with solar panels extended etc soon. - Andy
  18. I would have, but it only presented me with the 4x arrow selection seen in the screen shots. Kerbalx? Ok, i'll look into it.... - Andy - - - Updated - - - Signed up for kerbalx, but i cannot find my ship files. I am using .25, so where do i look? - Andy - - - Updated - - - Bingo bango. see shuttle boat trimaran on KerbalX.com Daytime screenshot coming soon! - Andy
  19. New screenshot: My goal is to get it to the next land mass east from the KSC, then rescue the passengers (bob & jeb) with an unmanned ship. all ready sitting about 60 km out to the east of the KSC in the water. I still do not know how to share the ship file, if someone would link me or tell me the info i'd be happy to upload tomorrow! - Andy
  20. One more screenshot. How do i share this ship, is there a file i need to link or something? The one in foreground has 2 on board, the other one has 38 on board. Both are max throttle on all 6 engines. - Andy
  21. Land and sea only. You may be able to take it to a moon or planet with a sea, but it needs an atmosphere to use the jet engines. It rolls into the water, goes fast on water. It can go fast on land, it can go up onto land out of the water and rescue stranded kerbals. - Andy - - - Updated - - - It has a probe core and a drone core, so you could pilot it empty and rescue 38 kerbals. - Andy
  22. It is amphibious, on land and over water only. No flight. Maybe i can put wings on it...? - Andy
  23. How do i share this creation with all of you? It topped out at 132.1 m/s before i paused it to upload this screenshot. There are 38 kerbals on board this one, and there is one parked 45 km out to sea with jeb and another one on it by themselves. Going ot see how a ship to ship transfer works.... Most likely it will work well... - Andy
  24. Welcome! - Andy
