  1. Ok, sorry for not responding. I didn't get any notification that anyone replied, so i didn't bother checking. Pretty sure the problem was center of drag, and with a little tweaking, i fixed the problem, so thanks.
  2. Is there a mod that lets you increase and decrease the power of the magnetic docking locks? and I am aware of tweakable everything, but I don't think you can increase the power. can you?
  3. Even if I line up the CoM and the CoL, it flips head over heels. Why? Too much lift? Is that a thing? Tilting the wings doesn't seem to work, help?
  4. Hyperedit, decouple-able wheels, retractable wheels+the boats propulsion, attaching it to a jumbo jet and adding parachutes, or, the good old method, disabling gravity. As long as the entry (into the water) isn't too fast, anything works.
  5. The main problem is this: ships can collide with ships, but ships cannot collide with themselves. If you like building boats like me, you'll know to add lots of struts, and to strategically place the panels you are using to build it with. Otherwise, the deck and sides just start sagging in on itself and going through itself. The only problem is, unless you are using wing panels, the strut ends stick out and you have a spotted ship, and because when multiple ships are docked, the game thinks they are the one ship. TL;DR, Ships cannot collide with themselves, resulting in pain.
  6. I'm working on a big aircraft carrier. Nothing original but once it's done I'll post pics.
  7. All I'd like is some nose cones that have a customizable radius of explosion, if it hits something over its impact tolerance. Maybe it could also have a system where it will only explode if it's armed. I don't want bd armoury because I think it would be cooler to create an icbm from parts than strap bombs to a rocket or whatever.
  8. I know that there are many file sharing web sites out there, but I would like your guy's recommendations on the best ones to use.
  9. You know you play too much ksp when you get frustrated when other people don't fully understand orbital mechanics.
  10. If you don't like any of the options in the poll, feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments.
  11. If parts were to be added to stock KSP, what would you want them to be?
  12. In real life the shuttle had three liquid fuel engines pointing slightly inward to counteract its weight. During retro burn, this would cause the spacecraft to flip, so there were two liquid fuel engines "on top" to counteract the rotated main engines. Have a look-see: https://www.awesomestories.com/images/user/c80006be2e.gif https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Shuttle_Orbital_Maneuvering_System
  13. I think it's the weight. If I were to make a 1 ton rover, it would flip like crazy under kerbin's gravity. Let alone the weight a kerbal can push. Although I do think the traction needs to be reworked. Lets hope for The Unity 5 update.
  14. Yeah, I'm always like "I jumped from really high up, how did his legs not break?" But I guess they aren't human and if a character damage system was implemented, it would be less kid-friendly. Also, I agree that more updates or DLC's should be about kerbals themselves.
  15. This whole post is a lie! These are just KSP screenshots!
  16. The moon landings were fake. (Lets hope this generation and their children realise the sacrifices some made for the pursuit of knowledge.)
  17. Hello! I was wondering if there were any manual recovery mods, because I think it would be fun to create things like trucks or boats in order to recover landed crafts and bring them safely back to the KSC.
  18. Quick question, how would they repair landing legs? Can they break but still be intact somehow?
  19. I was looking at the stock ksp rockets, and i noticed one called the Z-MAP satellite. (actual name has "launch kit" but i'm talking about the satellite itself) And the wiki page said, and i quote, "The satellite itself fulfills little purpose. Antennas are only required for sending Science results back to Kerbin, but the satellite has no science experiments on board." So i thought, what is the purpose of sending satellites into space (especially in sandbox mode) If all they do is collect some science and then just orbit. So i was wondering if there were any mods that added purpose to satellites. Specifically i mean things like communicating with probes/rockets, mapping planets, or transmitting data in a sort of "web" if the data source is too far from the KSC's receiving dish.
