Well, I tried the mod you suggested, but it doesn't seem to work in 1.6.1 ? I see people talking about mm3 and mm4 but I have no clue . . . I could indeed use that mod, the tanker ship is making the game slow. Anyway, I should be working on a drill and a ferry, instead I'm building tankers and houses . . . Let's bomb it.

How about small rotors for mini quad drones, that you could deploy from your ship. The possibilities are endless...

Yes. It should be in the game, it would help me so much with my survey contracts in career mode. Edit: Also moveable joints should be in there.

Yeah, I don't think we will get it though. I wish they would show more love to the airplane stuff in the game, waiting for propellors forever.... But luckily we have the mods.

My PC is starting to lag, it doesn't like so many parts... Test flight, uh, sail ? 16.5 m/s (around 50 kph). A bit faster then realistic, but I'll take it. Next: finishing the bridge. TBC

I used to use a simular mod a few years ago to make this ore platform, without it it would break in 1000 pieces. I don't think I can replicate that project... Working on the tankers bridge, I really don't need a tanker this big, but I just want to build it. TBC

For steering I'm not going to use rudders, but juno engines (action group: left engine #3 right engine #4) The test went perfect, I can now start building the bridge and add the tanks. TBC

Either I drop a miner by parachute or I get a mobile drill out there by ferrry. I like the last option the most. I've started building a tanker for transport. I also have a drill base that I can move there with vesselmover, but that would be to easy.

Now that we have a scanner in orbit we can look for a good spot to mine ore. I have to fly under 1000 meters to perform the scan: Not much ore here in the ocean, but we found a nice spot on the Krimson island. 14.36 is not bad. So we land here to mark the spot so we can prepare our drilling operation. TBC
