  1. Meeting up with the tankers. *TIP: Watch in 1.25 or 1.5 speed.
  2. I see the Bugger lost a fuelcell. I'm sending out Val in the MiG-29 with some spare parts so Ed's Bugger can be repaired when he arrives. TBC
  3. Getting close to checkpoint 13. I've placed the harpoon, but I can't grab the winch, screw it... As soon as the wheel was removed the buggy reacted and flipped back on its wheels without Ed having to push it. lucky glitch, I'll take it. Setting up the wheel to re-attach. KIS tool at work. Perfect. On to checkpoint 13. . . We will leave the winch and the harpoon here. TBC
  4. Checkpoint 12 We got the tankers in sight. Next route: TBC
  5. Edberry Kerman, from zero to hero. 55 m/s, congrats on your new speedrecord Ed ! The quicksand adventure took our cp 11 flag, I guess it's gone . . . We'll send a jet later to place a new one. I guess I'll setup checkpoint 12 100 km from cp 10 to match up. Edit, looks like my bugger thinks it's a lander, I'll rename it to rover. TBC
  6. Set a new speed record (55 m/s) in my 80 days around Kerbin adventure. Special thanks to @NBDesigns for the wheel settings.
  7. Thanks for the tip, but strangly somehow I allways press F-1 instead of "B" in critical situations... I like how we are all working on this, I feel like we all are a team. The settings I have now work so good that I'm not even going to bother driving around dunes, going straight through them 50 m/s is mucho, mucho more fun. TBC
  8. Thanks mate, feels like I'm back in school. It's glued to the ground, and all stock, I'm impressed.
  9. I am so happy . . . Top speed (downhill) 54.3 m/s Checkpoint 11 TBC
  10. Good point, I forgot about that. I've set it to SAS only. (although I'm not planning on using SAS) I also copied NBDesigns wheel settings, but it seems I'm missing some options here for the damping ? Yep, you guys gave me some useful help. Don't worry, R&D is working on that...
  11. Don't know yet, just came up with this design 5 minutes ago. I wanted to learn how to build assymetric crafts, but still be able to mirror-place parts like wings, engines. It's just a work in progress, I'm amazed it flies as well as it does.
  12. Today's visito - Wait, wut ? Before I go, more insane stuff . . .
  13. I've just tested that, I lowered the value and made a drifter, tuning the front and back wheels should provide me with a great drift racer. I've always wanted to do this in KSP . . .
  14. Today @NBDesigns gave my Bugger wings.
  15. Yeah, I can't even load it to replace the battery. Your tips are gold btw, very helpfull, I don't have much knowledge when it comes to wheel settings. Can you upload a version with a stock battery ? I will surely test in against NBDesigns, maybe even hold a little race... I did test @NBDesigns buggy and I like it a lot. I've uploaded a video on that: Thanks for all the support and help guys, we can do this
  16. Cool, thanks ! I'll download it and get back with a test report.
  17. It's getting dark, I don't like driving in the dark... We made it around the mountain, safe. We are beyond Jeb's last driving point, everything is new terrain from now. TBC
  18. O JEB, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE ? Now that we get closer to the position where Jeb died, we can see what happened. Jeb must have thought he could cut off the long safe route by going over the mountain. His light open buggy got stuck on top of a dune and he must have fallen down while pushing his buggy. Last picture of Jeb before he died: We are not going to the buggy, too dangerous. We wil take the safe route. TBC
