  1. @wingedthe release on GitHub is wildly incompatible with RO (i had made it for a personal project of mine), but it should work now that i made the necessary changes. @hargnthere was an issue with the compatibility since there are two different packs for the RSS version of Constellation Essentials: one is the original from Bahamuto and another one is from MeCripp. The latest one broke some things although i have fixed the compatibility. If you still have problems could you send me a log file?
  2. Oh, OK because for a second i thought that you had forgot to add it (based on the fact that there was a part config and the textures are reused). My bad .
  3. @NecroBonesthe engine folder includes a part config for the J-2T engine but the actual model file is missing (i re-downloaded the pack from both KerbalStuff and your personal repository just to be sure).
  4. Also, do not forget to right-click the interstage base an enable the fuel cross feed (there is a button that toggles the functionality) .
  5. This is a mod under development, meaning that features may not still exist or may not be fully implemented. Surface resource harvesting is one of the features not implemented yet.
  6. Known issue, not something that you have to worry about, These are ghost nodes that do not do anything.
  7. This would require an animated part of the two fairing halves, like the KW Rocketry Apollo SLA, so that it can open and close. Then, the mod Old School Fairings so that in can shield the contents from the aerodynamic flow.
  8. Spacecrafts either use a proprietary OS (derivatives of microcontroller assembly languages depending on the actual hardware used), RTEMS or VxWorks.
  9. It seems too low but it was very surprising when i got to fly one for an Atlas test. It achieves a very smooth and precise control. And that was before Felbourn's thrust power breakdown were all thrusters were set to 40 N.
  10. @NecroBonesthis pack is fantastic! No, you are fantastic! Thank you for that . @Felbournwill these patches be included with the RSB pack? I understand that Necrobones will have to make the decision but i am worried that some of these will clash with the RO configs (if someone has RO installed).
  11. @NecroBonesinformation about the CCB retro motors can be found in the Orbital ATK catalog (Star 5F rocket motor, page 81 if you are opening the catalog in your browser via the provided link).
  12. @NecroBonesi found a small problem with the Common Centaur: it is missing a "vesselIcon" parameter and without it KSP flags the stage as debris. BTW, the new clamshell fairings are absolutely fantastic! Edit: also, if you don't mind, the CCB in reality has some small solid retro motors (8 of them) placed just above the LOX feed line. Would be possible to model them as separate parts or even baking some thrust transforms into the CCB tank model?
  13. @NecroBonesat least for RO, the Ares I is already in the GitHub repository and i will be pushing the configurations for the Saturn and Atlas soon (in a few moments from the time of this post).
  14. You mean the staging icon that the stock procedural fairings use, right? If so, then define the icon as "FUEL_TANK" (yep, i am serious).
  15. @TheAuroraknown issue, fixed for the next RSS release. If you would like to correct it now then: 1. Download the RSS master .zip from Github. 2. Extract it's contents. 3. Copy the file named "RSSKopernicus.cfg" that is located inside the "GameData/RealSolarSystem" folder that was extracted. 4. Navigate to the "GameData/RealSolarSystem" folder. 5. Drop and replace the already existing file.
  16. A question regarding the RL10A-4-1 engine: are you planning to model the short extension like you did with the RL10-B-2 for the Delta or this is it's final form? Edit: forgot that the newer versions use the RL10-C-1 with a non - extendable B cone...disregard the above .
  17. The only mod that is compatible with RSS/RO for cooling cryogenic propellants is HeatPump (originally part of RealFuels).
  18. We already have a discussion thread about RSS/RO/RP-0 but if you want you can proceed with this one .
  19. When i made the suggestion for the mount, i thought that the ET was 3 parts, the "nose cone", the main cylindrical tank and the rounded "butt". I could see the first option work fine though.
  20. Started working on the RO support. First stop: Ares I It flies beautifully (t even gets the shock effects of the Ares I-X)! @NecroBonesyou have done a really professional work! The only problem was the luck of retro motors for the RSRM...also, i had the impression that Ares I could not inject a full Orion into LEO but this thing managed it after two test flights .
  21. Wooo, it's RO time! BTW, since that you are going to create the Shuttle ET: could you take it a bit further and and an engine adapter like the one from DIRECT? (you have all the parts for it. Well...almost!)
  22. Yes, as i mentioned the camera part module included (used if you don't want or don't have docking ports, like a launch camera) will not complile correctly since it expects the "OLDD" prefix.
  23. @politassorry about that, i should have provided more info . It is the "Docking Camera (KURS style)" by DennyTX (identifier: DockingcameraKURSstyle).
