  1. I think its bob from experience, on gilly I found it hard to even get down because the gravity is so low, most of the time I was floating but on bop it was a bit easyer. An interesting point about both moons is that the "follow the retrograde" landing technique does not work as the moons are spinning so fast you actualy travel sideways due to the rotation. also, when I touched the surface of gilly slowly I instantly exploded, anyone know why?
  2. I wouldn't mind being on moho right now, its wet and rainy where I am. I hope that kerbal is wearing thick boots but here is a sheepish looking crew next to their crash landed IS-EP Cricket
  3. HA HA! As I clicked on this thread an advert for the new red dwarf series came on on the TV behind me with the theme tune but very nice ship
  4. Dont become addicted, it takes the fun away
  5. Wow... ok man, maybe a new thread is just a bit too much, it wasn't too hard for me to type that reply. Im glad too see it helped anyway, have a good time landing.
  6. Hi, Im not a computer wizzard but I was having the same issues as you with the patcher being extremely un helpful. It worked for me to go to the store and re-download the entire game. I hope this works.
  7. I ... sort of landed. I under estimated the atmosphere eve has and the parachutes ripped my craft to shreds when they opened. I am not trying to land on eve again any time soon.
  8. Which is smaller, Bob or Gilly? I cant tell from the diagrams but I am exited about the small one as it will likley be oddly shaped like phobos.
  9. I 've got a feeling that im wrong but, 2/10 I've seen you once or twice around here
  10. So you are only going to launch one mission a day? I would have tried (and most likley failed) all of these missions in the first one or two days! Unless of course you mean timewarped kerbin days.
  11. Yeah, I have never seen the adapters before but I think the pod and left adapter are just not facing the sun. Maybe its a lighting improvement? I dont know. But unless its a mod, look at the bottom of the craft on the right, I dont think thats a 2m decoupler.
  12. Shhh!, SHHH! I can believe what I want too! *turns around and strokes hair maniacally* "Dont worry zpox... It will come out tomorow, It WILL come out tomorow! me he he he!"
  13. If this is Laythe I think it looks way better than in the old pic. It didnt look like it had land in the other picture and it looked a bit too clean and polished, like a giant blue marble out of place.
  14. Nova, this is not a place for space photoshop art, ksp pics only... oh wait... Wow, that is one heck of a screenshot. 0.17 looks more incredible every picture, and the first pic of moon apmosphere!
  15. Pfft, its better than my rendevous design as it looks more like a real space craft than a random ball of RCS and struts... +did you just use one mod or many, I recognise the parts from somewhere
  16. Sometimes if the rocket is small, you can keep retracting and extending the landing legs and sometimes it glitches out and launches into the air. Then you can fly it down again, its worked once for me.
  17. It sounds like the wierdest thing to do ever but now we technicly have astronomy in the game. Looking up at the newly textured and lush sky someone (not me) can name some of the constilations. The best part of this is the planets that our kerbals will be able to look up at and pick out the planet their friend was so recently KIA and remember them... Now all we need is a teliscope mod/part so we can do this on kerbin but also maybe look up at kerbin from other worlds such as duna, or see a base set up on one of the moons of Jool from an other moon when they pass by.
  18. I did say eve earlier but thinking about it its gotta be moho, even if its not released this update I can imagine the glowing lava lakes and streams contrasting with the mysterious black darkside. Looking up you see a giant flaring fireball and due to the small atmosphere, the void of space. I hope its not rushed
  19. I am actualy exited about moho (if thats what its called) even if is not released this update, I can imagine the dramatic looking planet with glowing lava lakes and streams spreading across the daylight side contrasting with the gloomy dark mysterious night side. When you look up from the daylight side you see a massive flaring fireball in half the sky and with little apmosphere, the void of space. I dont want it to be rushed if it cant make it.
  20. Yep, ride the bull, fall off and struggle to get back on and activate the chutes before the "bull" smashes at 2000 m/s into the ground... fun
  21. Ohhh, not hoping for this or anything but a few easter eggs at the deepest darkest parts of Laythe would be awesome, like a sunken temple.
  22. This could be the start of the greatest comedy series ever, 3 guys stranded in space. Sure there is not much for them to do but they are kerbals right? They will always find something
  23. I want...um...herm.. ALL OF DEM! Most of all I am looking foward to eve because it looks awesome, has an easy to land on moon and Has a possibly spaceplane-able apmosphere.
