Since this Topic may have been Posted quite a 1000 Times so far so i'd could not Resist to Create the 1001th Topic about a Mission to the MUN in Hommage to the Apollo Program (my Girlfriend is Born at the 21.07.1969 but that wasnt the main Reason i got together with her..... Beware, its all Boring stuff and Boring Pics. Just did it for the Sake of it (and to brag over it right here) My Shall-Look-Alike Saturn 5 on the Pad, Ready for Start. And we have a Lift_Off. This is actually the Moment the 'Safety Tower' was cut off. Its Dead Weight now. Brute Force on its Way up The Protecting 'inbetween' fairing (uhhh ahhhh no Kraken appeared) decoupled without Problem. Sideview of the Rocket while Rising the Apoapsis to a save Level. Visoal Check it something went Wrong while decoupling the Fairing. 2nd Stage Burned out (well only 2 Stages were needed. Preparing for Decoupling/Coupling the Lander to the Nose of the 3rd Stage. on the way Coupling (Proud: no Mechjeb) succeeded and on the Way to the MUN really interesting view of the patched conics (k, its boring...) Decoupling the Lander in Munar Orbit Preparing to land Landing the Lander The Lander Has Landed Walking on the Mun Erecting the Flag Some Proud Seconds until reentering the Lander Generating the Usual 'in Flight Report' Those Sepatrons are really needed since 1.05 because the descent stage stays as Lab and Research center at the Mun. ascending with the Munar Ascend Module on the Way up Trying to catch up with the Command Module Right before coupling this Took 20 RT minutes..... i had to switch to the command Module because the Ascend Stage ran out of Monopropellant decoupling the ascend Module and down goes the Ascend Module to Impact on the Moon for ... for ... just for reason. Heading back with the Command module to Kerbin Another very interesting shot. Entering the Atmosphere with the Tank for Breaking down with the Main Thrusters This was quite good hit. First Try and missed the VAB only for about 10 Km You see the Runway ? last seconds before Touchdown (or splashdown) Barely down. Made it. No Tools No Cheats. All Stock. only 1 Kraken attempt.
  2. Patience made no sense either. (first Reports of Explody Pol Landing Attempts dating Back January 2014) so: at least 24 Months or 2 Years. I Started a Discussion about Fixing the Pol Problem and you are able to judge w.t.f. is minor or not. Sorry that i forgot to ask for your humble opinion right before posting my minor request. 2 Years of not Fixing a celestial Body feels just like: we dont care about it. Nothing else. If noone rises that this'll get fixed exactly: never.
  3. There is already a very explicit description at the bugtracker. Since im a bit rusty in terms of software engineering (last stuff i was working on was 'OS2' in the 90's now im more into 3d-Engineering with Inventor and Solid Works) i couldnt say how long it'll take to implement a working and proper mesh. but i know that creating a working mesh wouldnt drop the dollars to swim in too low.. there'll be plenty enough money to swim in for the Company. Well everything works with money. Throw it in and you get what you want. If someone ask for 'remove that bug please' you could ask, ehrm, forever (this is what is happening actually now and quite thousands of Peoples got Exploded and Krakened at Pol and mentioned that Bug) So what amount of Money it'll take to fix a Celestial Body, IMHO Essential Content of a Game that is about landing on Celestial Bodies? That is around for over a Year unfixed ? May i got something wrong ? Its Called Space Program nor ? (sry but im getting a rage now...)
  4. This is sad to hear. Maybe a kickstarter campaign could help if we raise enough funds for the devs (and afais there are plenty people complained over that for the last 20 months) to fix that bug (thats the way it would work for sure) how much money could be needed to fix a defective collision mesh ? any guess ?
  5. Hello All. Well. Pol is Bugged. Pol is Bugged since ? (eons ?) If i land on Pol i seriously explode in Mid Space (200 from 800 in Space above ground) or if by sheer luck i manage to land, go to space center and back (Or load a game) My ship/Flag is suddenly 200 to 800 meters in deepspace. This is known for long times. (read this half a year ago somewhere else) (eons?) Does anyone know if the devs are planning to do something about that or do they decided because with all the new airplane parts noone would go to pol anyway so we can let this Bug as it xor ignore it, and concentrate more on airplane parts anyhow ??? This really *sucks* because Pol is the First Moon you get to if you enter the Jool System. Does anyone know if the devs already stated this as a Game feature ? (if then, nevermind then, remove pol please) Is there a mod what fixes that (well i would pay for eh, uh, ah, i forgot, i ALREADY paid for the game, whats the Problem with fixing that collision mesh ?) greetings PS: i refer to Bug #5235 in the Bugtracker. i strongly guess that the state '10% done' only assumes that someone from the dev's team just tried out and found out that the bug exists. this was 4 months ago. It would be better to remove the Moon from the game at all than leaving something in that doesnt works. im just so pissed on that. Besides that im just Proud that i made it to the jool system and back without mods. hard stuff. Makes fun if you get the 5 minutes while gameplay you did not get krakened from bugs. PPS: this Bug exists since >1 Year: Related to Bug #3423 Related to Bug #2501 Related to Bug #2049
  6. Well. The superior work of German Rocket Scientists should be awarded, regardless of the Political System that was established that times. Dunno why this nonsense ....-Jabber continues today, maybe the Americans/Russians are trying to establish the myth they would have been capable of flying into space without the help of Germans, by changing the Term 'German Scientists' into the more impersonal '....' sheme ? I'm Proud to live in that Country, where Rockets first entered Space!
  7. I was at: Kerbin, Mun, Minmus, Ike, Duna, Laythe, Bop, Pol. All Manned I was approaching Vall but just the save got corrupted and i was Krakened and then i ragequitted.
  8. we already have landing gear that (if the gravity is low enough) nearly pushes a ship into Orbit while releasing. The dev's cannot handle that. I rather build a ship that has exactly the height needed rather than having the next frog-a-like comic-jumping around on minmus because the door pushes my ship into Orbit or flails it over....
  9. There is nothing wrong with that. Just a wise company's decision: As Long as it didnt hit the daylight that quite a load of bug's will not be fixed until that Project is dropped dead, squeeze as much out as possible. besides that i really love that game and enjoy playing.
  10. Oh then i reasonably posted my request for really no reason because its common knowledge that ships just spontaneously explode. encounter same stuff.

Well. i Noticed something really weird, only happening with (my) Spaceplanes. 1st: i've built a ssto that is able to reach orbit but while ascending im able to set the warp-factor to 2 or 3 and then, immediately the ship explodes. (well actually my car doesnt blow up if i drive 100 kmh rather than 50 kmh.) If the physics engine isnt able to handle the warp then why its allowed ? I dont assume a bug so anyone can tell me why this happens ? why does the ship explodes at double speed and not at normal speed. Makes no sense, looks like im the first one to report this, otherwise this would have been fixed at all. 2nd: inside my mk3 cargo-bays items start to overheat without any reason and spontaneously explode, while the cargobay itself and all other parts of the ssto stay cool. this happens even if the ship is already in a stable orbit, outside of the atmosphere. For no good reason at all, because the parts never cool down even with radiators installed. what did i wrong ? 3rd: while setting warp (at any time) or trying to launch the ship, or for no reason at any random spot my ssto spontaneously dissassembles without no reason. or explodes without any reason at all. 4th: while trying to land the ship spontaneously explodes or dissassembles with no reason at all so a ssto that with no problem (if nothing of the 3 points over here hit) launched just falls apart like small babys wooden blocks. if i touch down slow enough the ship falls apart with no explosion at all just a mess of quite a large number of parts laying around. I desperately need a guide that carefully explains to me, what sort of 'looks like it fits perfectly together' game mechanic is not supposed to be used by the player. The software designers must have published a list what 'looks like it fits' game mechanic shall absolutely not be used togehter because otherwise really really obvious things like 'fitting mk3 parts together creates a connection' would have been implemented in the game so far. can anyone please give me a link to that list ? Im just out of any further ideas because all parts fits perfectly together and crashing in the ground is for me a good explanation for a explosion. but just out of nothing there is no real reason to explode. things usually dont explode by being put together and being watched at higher speeds, because speeded time itself only affects the growth of trees but not the behave of machinery (let out corrosion but corrosion doesnt appear in space at all). (maybe im to old to get the joke in that ?) actual version i play is 1.04 added screenshots: wobbling all the way up is fine, adds somewhat realism to the rockets. but dissassembling like that and suddenly its like that doesnt make me laugh.
  12. Sorry for starting up that thread. It was my own fault to buy at such a lousy company, should have read the internet carefully before.... I learned my lesson. GOG just laugh at me, by bringing up that lousy 'technical problems' excuse. Its a slap in my face (and did anyone ever believed lousy 'technical problem' since the 90's ?) i am a idiot. forgive me....

Well... i bought that game from GOG and they dont have the actual patch (and look like this game is rated c-class there, customer already paid money muahaha so dont loiter here, damn customer get off, its not worth updating to the actual patch, maybe in a few weeks if the big 'witcher cash-grab' is over) [you guess, im angry of course] But that was the 'translated' autoreply from 'service' i've got. so, where to get the actual 1.04 patch for download ?
