  1. those 'fanboying walls of text' trying to find a 'hype-o-way' to write a trashy release into a good one by adding endless walls of 'helpfully explaining and exuseful text' makes me sick. The more words used, the less substance stays behind. Facts dont need much words at all. Fact: 1.1.2 is a trashy release that were pushed out with the best QC the company could supply us with: None. Because as others stated right, why should the company bother about investing a single lousy dollar in QC while we are here to do that job for free ? Any excuses are only to throw a stinky bone to those who all at all PAYD this Game. Debug that. Dont need that. I just want to play the Game and dont want to chew old stinky bones.
  2. Excels ? You are talking about Kerbal Space Program where a lander explodes if a kerbal accidentally touches it ? or where you spontaneously start to Spin in Orbit without no Reason ? (and the list is long) nonsense.

  4. What would you do if you want to sell the Game to more Customers. 1st: Adding new content OR 2nd:Bugfixing. Until its not reputational scorched ground, choose.

The will to resolve does not solve any Bug. a statement like 'Bug x and Bug y will be removed as primary shedule' would have been a statement. all else is just babble to soothen the customers. Sleep well then.

What'l happened at Version 2.0 ? - The Version number has Changed to 2.0 - All ye olde long and well known bugs were declared as Features (like POL is told to have a 700 meter Antimatter-Defense Shield to prevent Kerbal landings for example) - The Garbage Stutter now delays the game for 2 minutes and then it runs 5 seconds REAL SMOOTH until the next stutter appears. you are only allowed to mention how smooth it runs the 5 seconds between the stutters. if your System RAM is 1024Gb or above then you can set up a switch in the config that extends the 'smooth phase' to 30 seconds until the next GC-Event. - we'll have 17.867 new Plane Parts&Engines and two additional octagonal struts (one double the length and one four times than the original one, but they explode while exposed to sunlight) - we'll have one additional LF only Tank (just half the size than the actual one) - only 30cent for a timewarp to the next Transfer window to Duna. or wait until it appears at normal speed.
  7. Fine company i made my agreement with. Throwing a Rusty Penny at the KSP Staff while shoveling the Millions to Amsterdam and telling lousy excuses to us Customers.
  8. It is not upon perfection. Perfection can not be achieved. Its upon pulling out excuses for sloppy coding and riding those until Pitchforks & Torches show up. (This is how it shouldn't be done) Coder (1) 'hmm it creates memory garbage but im done with my job fast, the problem may come out somewhat later, maybe never, it runs now... no Problem' Coder (2) 'mah it creates even more memory garbage but im done with my job quick the problem may come out somewhat later it runs now...i know of, but i ignore it wisely' Coder (3) 'gosh it creates a lot memory trash but couldnt do better i'd have to hurry to my 2nd job to prevent starving that's bad, the problem may come out somewhat later it runs now... who carez' Coder (4) 'hell it creates masses of memory garbage, barely runs but im done with it 'cause it has to be released ...will show up but... who cares ill blame it on all others and the Engine' and THEN someone steps into that minefield of non-degressive-coding. boom. They end up with more garbage then data processed and graphic content. Problem now: step 2-4 can be thrown in the NUL because you have to first clean rewrite step 1 all else has to be completely rewritten to fit in the order of steps. many who know the UNITY engine far better than me already stated that this was caused by sloppy handling of the project right from the start. Those Minefields doesnt show up suddenly they grow and grow until someone steps in. I can not believe that noone over all the Years did not see that Problem arise with every Release of KSP that left the Servers. Those things dont show up suddenly. I can guess how this happpened. THIS was never intended and NEVER expected to be that sucessful in Sales, so it was started as a Sideproject without any big effort and without any reasonable planning ahead. I dont Blame the Devs for that. Noone could have expected that. I Blame the Devs for still trying to sell the UNITY Excuse for all the Mines still laying outside and Ticking. coding is like going downstairs...... You can Jump downwards, then you will be very fast the way down. This can be a sucess and a Timesaver if you know the Stairs are short. If you guess the lenght of the Stairs wrong, then you wont be satisfied with the result of your Jump at the end. Unless you don't know the length of the Stairs you shouldn't jump.

Sorry without being offending this is deja-vu If i've gott'n a dollar for everytime i'd heard this or similar excuses: 'employee failed at debugging so he blames (insert any Software) whose employees too failed at debugging as excuse' i wouldnt need to work anymore. Heard that the first time in the early 90's The coders still use that and get away with it ? gosh. i took the wrong job.
  10. Hee. Signed- really really laughed mine ass off because i was writing the same comment but found this one while searchin if anyone mentioned that already. Anyone from Amsterdam can check if DEPORTED (the company we made our license agreement with) is more than a Postbox ? I Bet: NOT. Because the WTC in Amsterdam is known to be only a big Postbox for just eh... ill better stop to prevent being banned. You Made your license agreement with DEPORTED! and in case of mishap DEPORTED walks of whistling....
  11. Well. That decision wasnt an accident. If you get that far that you are handling 8-Digit US$-Amounts you DONT accidentally or just quite forget to stock up your Coders Team. You absolutely DECIDE to keep going on that way, because it is the decision you think that gives the Optimal Investment Return Ratio. Thats Business. This is what we deserved because we were so busy in fanboying and hyping around i bet some of those who purchased the game would have been quite satisfied if the only thing KSP were capable is showing a picture of a exploded rocked and then blinking 'success' Nihil sine causa fit (Cicero)

To look at it a more funny way: (this is a sarcatic post...) come aside. we are already enough People. if we get 2 millions customers together i can offer a good Price for a 'Users License to a Pitchfork.' Dont really expect a Pitchfork, The User License excludes anything, and indeed (that is the most important part of the 'early acess' Business) your Right to really ever get a proper Pitchfork. Maybe, someday im willing to send you something barely looking like a Pitchfork (you never own it you are only allowed to look at it at your own risk) maybe, maybe after i sold 10 Million virtual Pitchforks i start thinking about telling my Blacksmith to add the Spikes at the right end and not facing inwards to the handle. Ill show you quite good looking Pictures of Various Pitchforks, produce quite good looking Videos of 'how good a Proper Pitchfork could look alike' but not to deliver the Pitchfork at all, im just telling you every week how hard i work to come to a working solution for a proper Pitchfork with Spikes facing outwards to the right direction, just to sell this Promise to new customers. (while my blacksmith since Years still cast em with the spikes facing inward) But first at all i have to count my Money...... maybe later on we come to the complicated term how a proper Pitchfork has to look like. soon(tm) sorry couldnt resist....

  15. Since we are not on facebook here, its no like contest here. I Do not care in what state that game is when squad drops the support or stops further work. The more we rise uproar with pitchforks and torches the more likely quad takes the money and runs (or the law fitting equivalent of it) Ksp is no finished product, it is in my terms not even a quarter finished product at all. there are quite a lot of Bugs that are still presend and were noticed and told to squad a long long time ago. It really really smells like a big SCAM that they are trying to tell us that this is all they can do is to tell us 'we are working hard on it' while those who are working hard are just a quite few underpaid and maybe chained to their desktops coders while the millions of dollars are ? heh ? for what ? spent for ? For each of us who paid the game 20 or 30 or 40 Dollars euros or whatever currency is not much. but in sum we spent millions for the Game and thats all ? 'we're working hard on it' In example: Recently i bought 'GTA5' and paid 60 Bucks for it. This Game is worth that 60 Bucks just for simply driving from one end to the other. Just for that alone. Its still buggy but you get something for your 60 Bucks. KSP is really simple when you set up the Formula stuff around. Its no Possible to get a bug free version vor estimated 20 Million US$ (more likely 40 Millions?)? How Many Copies were sold ? The Company i work in Germany runs on 5 Millions/Year 50 People + 30 'rented workers' so we could run on 20 Millions for 4 Years with 80 Peoples fulltime. all-the-year-round. as i guess our salarys in germany are at least 10(maybe 20) times higher. so in Mexico maybe could run a 80 People company for 40 Years on 20 Millions$. Hire and Fire because for saving a yearly salary of 2.400US$ smells SCAMMY
  16. The question is: Why in anyones Name, shall squad take a small amount of the $Millions shoveled already aside and locked for other things, to finish this product ? Oh People be serious.... We'll may get something, maybe someday, but never that what we have paid for. if we paid 30$ per game as community we barely may get 3$ worth a game for it we count the numbers of sales alltogether and divide through effort. thats Business folks. Squad decides what way they spent their money for and all of you for sure carefully read your license agreement....

  19. I strongly guess this would require a complete rewrite of the code. Guess what'll happening. http://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/issues/4051 This is (i guess) the related bug. The Priority is low, it'l may never get fixed. Im not amused as many else are but, we already bought the game so far, this qualifies us as absolute dead weight. I start to notice the sound of being laughed at for buying a early acess game.
  20. 1.1.1. is not worth installing. Stutter is worse. Software Company did not taken care of that since Months. 3 Possibilities: no one there is capable, no one is willing or no one cares. Choose one.

  22. I strongly suggest this is an official dev-thread mentioning that the stutter is a 'Unity 4 Problem' are they know what they are talking about ?

Hmm i can not judge if others know what they are talking about, but i may barely, barely suggest that the 'creators' of the unity engine just offer at least one or maybe, maybe even two sufficient and probable way's to get rid of memory garbage/artifacts without stopping game progress for 0.1 up to 0.5 seconds. Hell this is 2016 now we are not in the 1950's where the computing machines sometimes got to a 'halt' because real existing and crawling bugs entering the prozessor room and got stuck between electric contacts. actually its like driving with square wheels and would render this 'Engine' (in my eyes) useless.
