Geez this went from "Ohh cool new models!" To "WE MUST REVAMP THE WHOLE GAME!!!" Everyone is looking at each part individually when it's all about what you do with those parts. No one launches just a fuel tank do they? The combination of all these parts to make a craft is what's important. I have nothing against any of the parts in the game, or the comedy, or style, personally, though if fuel tanks from Jeb's Junkyard look better than a HUGE company's (rokomax) then MAYBE we need a SLIGHT change. Or mods. MODS.

Stock TIE Fighter and X-wing
Spacetraindriver replied to Ozymandias_the_Goat's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
You know, I made a X-Wing similar to that a LONG time ago in a KSP version far, far away. Slap some Junos or Whessleys and you got your self a VTOL! -
What are you doing in KSP right now?
Spacetraindriver replied to Clockwork13's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Where I left off (Currently way up North IRL) I have just finished sending my Skylab 2 around the Mun. Yet to send crew up to it though. Also sent my Mun and Minmmus rovers off away from their landers. -
Ok so I want a model rocket (or rockets) for Christmas because reasons. So I was wondering about the skill levels there are. How exactly are they "harder" ? Is it "anyone can do it but less skilled we'll have a harder time" or "If you dont have these skills you can't do it"? Also is it possible to make multistage custom rockets?

Mods in Stock
Spacetraindriver replied to Choctofliatrio2.0's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Definitely Chatterer. Though should it be able to be like the state it currently is, or should it be automatic? I like it when I execute a burn then have Jeb say to Mission Control he's finished. But has anyone mentioned Camera Tools yet? Oh and Kerbal Historical Institute. I mean revamped old Parts mods. -
Bill v Bill. Gravity flaws. An interactive story. {Latest: Part 4}
Spacetraindriver replied to Tw1's topic in KSP Fan Works
It never hurts to revive a old story! TBH Kerbals would destroy anything without even realizing it. I say redirect it because story and because I want to be different!- 79 replies

I feel like I need to apologise for Kerbals
Spacetraindriver replied to Foxster's topic in KSP1 Discussion
It's called Kerbal Space Program though... I remember a reading about the game on a online store and it said something like: " Help these little guys get to space..." I think the whole point of the goofy, silly, dumb, aspects of their personalities and design makes normal achievements 10x more earned. Because these goofy little creatures managed to do it. Personally I have nothing against Kerbals at all! If you need some serious-ing up of these guys just read or watch some Kerbal stories (like on the forums!)/ YouTube cinematics (ex: Nassault) and theres also the fact that when you crash or explode or get attacked by the Kraken you are not losing any humans... -
From what Im reading you seem to be watching the pros on YouTube. What's wrong with not getting somewhere? Isn't it all about the journey rather than the destination? Seriously, I felt better completing a burn than actually landing on Minmmus. Keep on trying! Once you finally do it you get a HUGE morale boost! What you do with that is what YOU choose.

Yeah apparently! For me. IDK if it might break something so just backup your save just in case.

What is the user above you known for?

For being a moderator! I mean the moderators here are ALOT more "awesome-er" than some of the ones I've seen from other websites. Probably the best I've seen. -

Video: Space-x style duna mission 20k
Spacetraindriver replied to ex_'s topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
One does not simply play KSP without struts! Besides that cool! I like the use of Mk3 Parts as rocket stages and your ship looks nice and clean! -
This (correct me if I'm wrong) update brought the need connect non-manned craft to Kerbin via satellite networks. If you you check the info on your craft it will tell you what the first thing said craft connects to. I noticed my craft in the orbit of Kerbin connects to locations with names! From my knowledge the Inland KSC center is "Kerbin: Baikerbanur" which I have visited and planted a flag on. Another is I think "Crater Rim" which I have also visited. Does anyone know the exact locations of the rest of the rest? As I am typing I have just connected to Mesa South. There is also Harvester Massif, which seems to be very south. Or north. I have then connected to Nye Island. Thats all I can seem to find in the orbit this spacecraft is in. Anymore? And I still don't know where all the others are!

I see you have the Mk3 Cockpit mod, any chance it's still out there?
-
Heres some old screens of mine: That kinda of positioning back then was HARD. You needed to use the small structural struts ALL the time in the place of the offset tool back then.
