This. Before I started reading the forums the game had much less bugs for me small things like that or mosty any kind of hiccup I would put down to user error or some feat that I don't get... now it's bugs wherever I look -
Yeah, we're talking about just KSP. What other games of interest are there anyway?? Thank you for the suggestions. It'll be a great help deciding what to get. cheers Daf

Why Circularize Orbits?

As far as I can tell, circular orbits around planets are easier for getting encounters with the corresponding moons, because when you move the maneuver node around you don't change the apoapsis of your transfer orbit. But that's about it, I think. -
Sorry if this has been discussed before, but what are the requirements for a laptop to run the game nice and smooth, even with some mods installed?? What numbers should I look at?? Something that is not overkill (to keep the price low) but will not hit any limitations in a long while. Thank you very much

Thank you for the explanation. I see. I will get back with those files as soon as I have access to that computer and found a way to host them, even though the chances of a quick remedy are slim. Lets hope that Unity5 switch happens soon then, at least this sounds like promising news. Thank you for your help so far.

Okay, here we go, I try the best I can. Its KSP 1.0.4, 32-bit Version, clean instalation, playing on Steam, running on a 64-bit Win8. Joystick is a Logitech Extreme 3D pro. How should I post my DxDiag?? Its a 23p textfile. Same goes for the Settings.cfg, how should I post this here? Do I really have to go through a file sharing site like your guide suggests?? Sorry for the questions, I'm new to this.

Okay, so I use a Logitech Extreme 3D pro stick, on Windows 8. The stick works fine for other games, but on KSP only the buttons are recognized. It will not see the stick axis, throttle lever, and that 8 way hat switch. Contrary to the issue of other users, my systems seems to be able to save the settings. Anytime I come back the buttons I configured are still there. Other than this issue the game runs smooth, no lag or crashes. The setup of the stick itself is fine, my computer sees every input. If you need more information on my system, please let me know where to find it or how to post it. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance Daf

Hey there, the name is Daf and I am playing for a few months now. KSP is the only game I play in years. I was a console guy as a teenager, NES and that stuff, but when I saw KSP I had enough justification to support my sons gamer PC project. Got really into the game after the 1.0 launch... only to find out that some of the designs and ideas I saw on the internet that got me hooked (cupcake landers to mention the most noteworthy) would not work anymore. Bummer, but what can we do. It's still heaps of fun. Another issue I have is that the game doesen't seem to recognize my joystick axis or throttle. It's a Extreme 3D Pro, and the buttons work okay. Just the axis are not seen by KSP, and yeah, it works for other games. Some help there would be greatly appreciated. All the best Daf

Are you running a language mod? I had the same issue when I used a language pack. Got rid of it, and it all worked as it should. -

That's okay mate, no rush whatsoever. Thanks in advance and have a safe trip Edit: while you're at it, could you give me a quick tip on how to get rocket engines into those jets? I can't get them to click into place. When I try to replicate some of your designs I get all kinds of headaches. And I must have watched your building tutorial a dozen times by now... helped a great deal, but some things never seem to work for me. Edit: well well well, after reading up on that threat I know a good deal more... good old days, eh? And feels like there was a bunch of deleted messages too.... -

Hi everyone, hi Mr Cupcake Sir, as you can see I am new to the forum, but not so new to the game anymore. You guys will have to excuse my poor english, obviously I am not a native speaker. I just want to let you know that your stuff inspired me soooo much. Your videos made me look at that game differently. They made me buy a joystick. And now finally they made me register here. Cheers man. I never download crafts, but maybe I should reconsider this too, right? Somehow it feels right to me to only fly stuff that I built myself. Nevertheless your designs are a huge inspiration to me. I haven't read the full thread yet, I'm somewhere on page 30-ish at the moment, so please excuse if this has been discussed before, but how do you feel the new 1.0.4 physics affect your designs?? Feel free to link me to where you answered that question before, I guess you guys have been all over this. cheers everybody, all the best and many thanks to Cupcake and all who contributed -Daf
