  1. Stupid question but I'm a bit oblivious? Is this an updated mechjeb release? And does it include the little remote control looking Mechjeb part?
  2. Does the Mac version work yet? Last time I tried to update, the game froze whenever I tried to leave the KSC view.
  3. What are the coordinate of the memorial? Nice packing job. The next step in your training is to use the 2.5 m cargo bay as a transport for up to 16 Kerbals. HINT: You'll need external command seats.
  4. Is there a way to set reaction wheels to keep spinning until shutdown after they're detached from the main vehicle, like for instance if you were using then to drive a propeller?
  5. Do you have the wheel dampers and/or springs maxed out? That often summons the Kraken.
  6. Please make it possible to rotate objects connected via docking ports relative to each other, allowing docking ports them to act as bearings? I want this ability because it will make building electric prop engines easier. And I swear I remember being able to do this in the pre-1.0 version of the game. I've heard there is a way to achieve what I want using the Klaw, but I haven't succeeded in making that work yet. I have an idea of how to do it, but my idea have a habit of not working.

  8. I'm trying to develop an electric engine for use on Eve. No oxygen. And I'd prefer the prop and main craft remain a single part. I think this can be done with docking ports.
  9. What does "stock" actually mean in this context? I've always taken it to mean parts included with the game, not addons.
  10. I only use NERVs in deep space or on worlds with no atmosphere. I had a bad experience with a NERV powered Duna lander that ended up stranded until I burned a third of its fuel.

  13. Aren't Nervs a little heavy for an STO spaceplan? I've never used them in that application.
  14. Boulderdash. If that's stock, than what are those engines? And how did you make the propellers?
  15. Is there a way to make functioning, preferably electric, propeller engines in the stock game, without having them be a separate craft? I know of one youtuber who built a cool fan boat, but his design required stage separating the propeller assembly and controlling it as a separate craft. I'm looking for a way to propel an amphibious base on Eve's bodies of explodium, so jet engines are out of the question, and rockets would be extremely inefficient.
  16. I landed a car with limited VTOL capability on Tylo. I ran out of fuel in the descent stage at about 2000 m. Luckily the car itself had its own lift engines. I hit the wrong keys a few times, so I didn't capture the more impressive explosions as the descent stage hit the ground. Here it is on the ground. A single Mastodon engine and a few pieces of I beam are all that remain of the descent stage. In the distance is the home base, itself landed under 100 days ago. And here it is docked with the base. The point of the car is to drive to nearby biomes to get more science for the base's four science labs to process.
  17. I do use it. That's why I have to stop fastforwarding every few days.
  18. The Mac version doesn't seem to work yet. I updated, the game started fine, but froze when I tried to go into the tracking station. I waited 10 minutes. I'll try to update again in a few days. And anyway I need to wait for MechJeb to be updated, if it's ever updated.

  20. I've mostly been fast forwarding, stopping to transmit science. I have two flotillas flying out to Jool, and my orbital map is a bit too cluttered to launch more missions.
  21. Is there an addon that will automatically transmit science once a lab is full?
  22. If I wanted to design custom parts for my own use, could I do that in CAD software, or would I have to code the parts in?
  23. I have a test dummy called "Joroley" whom I use whenever I need to test a new craft. As such I've killed him about 50 times in crashes, usually intentional, but I always revert back to the VAB or SPH afterwards.
