  1. I've never had a plane exceeding 22 or so G's in this competition, even w AoA at 13 or so degrees at 399 m/s at low'ish altitude. Anyways, to keep planes from breaking, keep track of the dynamic pressure when building your plane and try to keep it in an even waveform, as even as possible, then tweak the wings and you will have little to no breakage.
  2. I thought my plane, the GG HRF-12 were up next... I know it's going to be smashed to bits but... (and yeah, right-click and save as)
  3. I'm getting kills, if that's what your asking, mostly by missile though, and the random lucky potshot ( a 46 seconds kill ). But not nearly enough times yet, maybe one in three. The secret lies in making the plane unstable, but still stable enought. CoL just infront of CoW and low drag seems to be the thing, but it's going to be a one-trick-pony i'm afraid. Must get fraps.
  4. Good to know i'm not the only one with the problem then. Now working on an unstable, but still stable, plane that can compete with the D-10d and others...
  5. I found a workaround (kind of) for the changes of settings in FAR after fights. If you go back to the hangar and reload the plane from the save, the settings goes back to where they were before the fight. Also @The Optimist: I recon you should loose the small engines at the bottom of the plane as the rules states "Engines are limited to turbojets/turboramjets"
  6. Well, as promised. I give you GG HRF-12 as an actual challenger. Hopefully it'll deliver some interesting fights. (to get the file, just right-click and save link as...)
  7. I'll upload a challenger later today, small, agile and deadly I've tested it against some of both the old and the new crafts and it performs satisfactory, but i noticed some strange behaviour as the center of weight (or lift) of the craft moved after taking it out on its first flight and into the hangar again, without me doing anything to it. And that the combination of the two structural wingparts (i think it's the swept and wing type making up a delta-wing, and the delta-wing itself has different center of lift... hm. Good fights, BTW, and gratz to the throne.
  8. I've been messing around with an agile, one engine, craft since the SHINGO, so i give you GG HRF-1 to play around with. I tested it against the D-9 with some success but it's still a WIP.
  9. Well, i'll revisit the build tonite and test it against the d-9 and some of the others and declare it afterwards (or withdraw it). Thanx for the clarification.
  10. And I guess my craft (GG HRF-2 mk2) is up against the champ after the K-22 if i understand this correctly?
  11. I've flown my GG HRF-2 mk2 against D6, TE-11F, K-3B1 Arctic Skua and the K-35 with resonable success, but i guess some of the new crafts will obliterate it with ease .
