    One of the better variants of Orion had an ISP of ~13,000 seconds, so looking at the Medusa (Which is more efficient), I'd say between 33,000 seconds Dry mass: 10,000 tonnes, Wet mass (bombs): 20,500 tonnes.

    I think most are lowish, since they can't get a whole lot of mass due to being small.

    @Bill Phil The amount of bombs I'll need to get to 8% the Speed of light (And slow down), here are the Spacecraft's specs: The spacecraft is 1.2 km long, The Bomb container is a cylinder 250 meters long, The bombs are about 15 centimeters long, and weigh 140 kg (Like the original design during Project Orion), The sail is 350 meters wide and about 60 meters deep.

    So, some of you may know that I tried to make a Interplanetary politics, thread... That didn't do very well, so lets not re-create it So this is the setting, it's 500 years into the future, and humanity has colonized Lagrange point floating colonies, the Moon, Mars, Venus, Mercury, Ceres, Callisto, Ganymede, and Titan. We also have the ability of getting to Titan in 5 weeks. So, what relations would an interplanetary civilization have (Other than politics, religion ((Probably won's come up)) or Ideology)? What would mining routes look like? What would colony routes look like (People going to colonize other solar system bodies)? What would communication look like? What would tourism look like? And what would Earth be like?

    So, I was a few miles away from the launchpad on Thursday at 4:46-8, and my mom turned on her smartphone to listen to the livestream... Suddenly, I heard they scrubbed the launch. As you know, at the 1:40 mark She jinked it! Good luck to SpaceX on Sunday though, I probably won't be able to make it however
