  2. First to start a Kollaborative Warfare style war when I have just the KSC and island base.

  5. I can't do anything about conversion during reentry. I did think that your suggestion was just about something "abstracted" in the background. But it does make more sense that way.
  6. @KSP Bros KS and I have tried to start a war, but we couldn't get it going. We tried transferring the presistent.sfs, doing DMP (which worked when we were connected to the same network) Can anyone tell us how to do this exactly? Once the war starts, we will post updates here. Here is the timeline before the war: Half of Kerbin was united under the Atlysian Empire, the other half was the still unorganized half of the planet. A group called the Kerbal Separatists didn't like the government of the AE because it was 99% democratic (except for times when instant decisions were needed), and wanted control of the empire for themselves. They hired great engineers, and using their tech, conquered the other half of Kerbin. The AE concentrated all resources on building the KSC, after Rockomax and Kerbodyne, rockets were no longer just things that went up and then came down. These new advances started a new era: the space age. While the AE focused a lot on space things, KS conquered more and more. Eventually, the AE realises the potential of the threat, and starts the heavy defense of the KSC and the nearby island airbase. KS captures all of Kerbin except KSC and the island base. Since the AE has already set up a space station where many Kerbals now live, and the KSC is unbeatable, all resources are concentrated on building a ship that will go to the Mun, and could start to build things there. AE develops superior air force, and tries to conquer tke KS bases. Goal: no enemy launch bases remaining.

  8. The "confetti" fairings are there for the protection of your vessel. The many parts have less chance of hitting your own vessel than two big ones.

      you can change it anytime by turning on advanced tweakables in the settings and than than after placing the fairing just turn on clamshell deploy

       

  9. That is actually a very good idea, but it would be complicated to implement. I will work on it though, it will be a part that will combine AblatorPaste1 with AblatorPaste2 to make Ablator. Since after the edits, my tank will not have Ablator in it, the only place it can go to is the heat shield. But thank you VERY MUCH for the idea! It is great! Working on it

  12. Good point. I don't know how to fix it. Lest's just say the Ablator in the box is a liquid, but solidifies in vacuum and stays that way.
  13. Uhh. You are talking about KS. I want the community to have 100% access to my mods, and can edit them without worrying about licences. Anyone is permitted to distribute and edit my mods, but with credit to me.

  15. He just means he wants NO ONE to edit his mod. Mine all have "Edit, but give some/me credit" or "Editallyawant" for licences. I want the community to have legal access to my mods.
  16. Ok. But the tank is not as cheaty as you may think. The heat shield can not pull the ablator from the tank directly, so you will have to use the TransferFuel function. But I will work on the Ore-Ablator thing. Thanks for the support. Did you get the mod?
  17. A simple little mod to add the capability to store extra Ablator, (the stuff on the heat shields,) so you can refuel those Laythe orbital shuttles with heat shields. Or the ones on Eve. --==Ablator Tank==-- Parts: Ablator tank as "Extra Ablator" The tank now has 500 AblatorPaste and 500 AblatorSetter. Thanks to the suggestion by @RocketSquid. Now for 1.3 as well!

  21. I have this craft, an Interplanetary Starship. On its maiden voyage, I went to the Mun. Turned out the craft was low on fuel. To land on the Mun, I used one of the two landers stored in the Mk.3 cargo bay. I landed successfully, returned, and docked with just a couple of liters of fuel left. Then I returned to Kerbin, but I was so low on fuel I had to do ~5 aerobreaking maneuvers to get into a good orbit. I also had to transfer fuel from the landers to get my periapsis out of the atmosphere. To this day, it is still up there.
  22. NASA "part clipping" is nothing like KSP part clipping. Where NASA clips the parts, the part it is clipped into can not function in the clipped area. Maybe this should be added to KSP too. At least something like reduced fuel capacity in the clipped part.
